Seems as though the cheap defenders have done very well this week.
Usually my initial team selection would be a little lopsided with me favouring attacking players, but this year I decide it might be a decent idea to spend £12m on Terry(best defence in the league) & Jones(amazing opening fixtures), after how much talk there was of defenders being really high scorers last season.
One week in and I'm already contemplating downgrading them in the near future to fund moves for attacking players.Open Controls-
I would look at this situation after 3 gw minimum. Will give you a better idea rather than just the 1 gw. By all means I would be considering it too but you need to see the team pan out properly over 3 gw's at least to see how the pattern of scoring is going,

Yep, seems like a good idea, but I really don't have the patience with defenders like I do forwards. They concede once an I've lost all hope of fantasy points, but with attackers they can get points at any time during the 90 minutes, whether they've conceded or not.

Step 3: Realise it was only Burnley and they were in disarray the first half
Step 4: Realise that Chelsea has and alternative fpl option in midfield in Hazard incase you miss out on Fabs price rises and he nears 10 million. Also a chelsea defender/Costa look good options
Step 5: Realise that there are a LOT of options in midfield from a lot of other sides so the pressure to jump on wagons is less
Step 6: log off fpl and go to sleep
