Hazard was really good tonight, he'll score a lot of FPL points. Cesc will get the assists (3 points)...Hazard will get the goals (5 points!)

All I'm gonna say is that anyone looking to do Mata > Fabregas for a hit, I would personally hold your horses.

    1) Fabregas admittedly got 2 nice assists however he didn't have a single shot the whole game.

    2) For the transfer to be worth your while you must hope Mata scores 2 and Fabregas at the bare minimum gets an assist before you are evens on your points.

    3) If Mata does score he will most likely achieve 3 bonus points leaving him at 10 meaning Fabregas would have to score 14 to break evens which is highly unlikely.

Overall I would personally wait for GW2 to be over and then make your choice on the mata 😉

A lot on here are in mini leagues. Don't worry about the scout players and your overall rank. Check out your opposition to gauge where you can find differentials or stick with players that may have under performed gw1.

I get too caught up with the knee jerking and forget I'm playing against the 35 players in my ML. Played Caulker over Clyne (sensible), played Terry over Kaboul (sensible) played Mutch over siggy (probably a bad decision in hindsight).

As long as you really think about the merits of each pick then you won't get unlucky every week!

Managed 53 all out. Team settled. Fixtures good. Roll on GW2

      Let the leagues take shape.

If your a top operator you'll be in the mix worry about diff's then get the pen n paper out to find the players you can't go without.

Its a question designed as a conversation starter.

I'm aware of the fixtures and wouldn't imagine City and especially Spurs are water tight.

Personally I'd be inclined to hold off I think.

          Fair point.

Yeah, that's my call as well.

Honestly, if Sterling goes big - he'd be worth having at 8.7-8.8m even. Another couple of weeks should give a good indication on both him and Liverpool.

            Fair point.

I'm thinking Sunderland and Burnley is Mata can't outscore him he can do one and maybe the differential advantage could help.

        Yeah the fixtures lift somewhat.

Thinking in terms purely of ownership and him hitting killing vs not as much.

But Mata vs sun bur - Sterling city spurs...

You'd think Mata but United are a wreck.

That is really surprising actually, ok i am a firm ade-hater but jesus. Soldado was like in the top 10 amongst forwards last year fpl-wise even though he had a truly bad year byt in spain he produced regularly.....

I 'll keep for a few weks and hope he gets a chance and takes it but then he gets the boot, no problrm if it turns out my team will be 3-5-2 or 4-4-2 or even 5-3-2 for a few weeks if he still eont get a chance
