Plenty of teams have one and two plum home matches ahead of the int break!!Open Controls65pts top 150k week one alright by me.
My plan is get the pts in and any wagons ahead of a pre gw4 WC!!
Siggy and Tadic for me this weekOpen ControlsPointless as I'm not a member.
Ooooooooh he's not a member! !Open Controls
Thank you Cesc for coming back to the premier league. What a wonderful footballer. FPL gold.
Open ControlsMost threatening players for GW1....fifth on the list looking good again...

And playing against the top of this table
http://members.fantasyfootballscout.co.uk/my-stats-tables/view/4750/Open ControlsQuite abnormal. 2 out of only 4 teams to keep CS conceded most attempts at goal.

Early days and against Burnley but think Fabregas and Matic are a great combo
Open ControlsI'm sure Matic had grown by about six inches over the summer...he looked massive..
Open ControlsNah he made Yaya small last season.
Sorry no agenda against you even after two different replies. Matic was a monster already mate. Made Yaya seem small last year!!!! MENTALOpen Controls
Matic was rough, but he'll get better. fab is the signing of the year.

QPR 0-1 HULL CITY (report)
Been watching the hole game so might as well give it a crack of what both teams looked like, and also what they can offer in the short term…fantasy wise (in FPL).
Green
Caulker - Rio - Dunne (78' Zamora)
Simpson (68' Phillips) - Barton - Faurlin (69' Hoilett) - Traore
Mutch
Remy - Austin
McCgregor
Chester - Bruce (45' McShane) - Davies
Elmohamady - Huddlestone - Livermore - Robertson
Snodgrass (40' Quinn)
Ince (82' Meyler) - Jelavic
As you can see Harry and Steve adopt exactly the same approach.
A 3-4-1-2 with Mutch and Snodgrass in the hole.
1st half:
QPR looking to get possession from the rearguard but when the ball arrived to one of the midfielders (Joey or Faurlin) they were constantly pressurize by the Hull team.
Answer: long ball to Austin (flick on), or to Remy for his runs in behind the defense.
No real connection between the team. And no real threat on the wing backs.
It was all about Remy and his speed, with a few shots on target.
Also good moments of Mutch in the hole. Once fit and accustomed with the team, can finally demonstrate the Cardiff form.
Besides that they had the best chances: Caulker off the line from a left corner (Barton), a header from Austin (Remy's neat cross), a right free kick by Barton, and Faurlin after a touch from Caulker inside the area (also a Barton's corner).
Hull as we know it, tight and secure.
Trying to take advantage of almost all set-pieces, especially corners (Snodgrass on the right, Tom H. on the left).
In open play Robertson was a real danger with 2 good crosses do Jelavic, was very impress by this young kid (to monitor).
Best chances: probably those ones i refer, and half chances and scares from set pieces.
2nd half:
Bruce made a significant change in his trio of center backs. McShane replaced "The Son", but was directed to the left side, reshuffling the hole area. Chester moved to the middle (sweeper), and Davies went to the right. Critical since Chester made some crucial tackles and interceptions, providing a strong defensive display in the second half.
QPR started stronger with a good chance for Austin but McCregor was real quick and made a real nice save on the edge of the area.
Then came in the only goal of the game, on the 52', corner from the right, left foot of Quinn, and Rio makes his first and costly mistake on a QPR shirt… No eyes on the ball, just trying to grab Chester, almost looking as a young full back who does not know how the cover the inside of his defense when a cross comes from the other side...
The goal changed the game and from now on Hull seat back and applied the counter-attack. T.Ince was close of kiling the game. On counter with Quinn and another moment from a direct free-kick.
Harrys first couple of subs were late (in my view), it was clear that, after Hull's goal, one of the center backs needed to be sub.
Off goes Simpson and Faurlin, in Phillips and Hoilett. The latter goes to the hole and Mutch steps done to partner Joey in the center of the park. Same tactic, different performers, same result.
Then, finally, Dunne its sub for Zamora. The game changes!
Even with QPR in a complete tactical caos, with 3 strikers, one winger playing in the hole, and two mids bombing forward… They created a period, the last 10min, putting pressure on Hull.
Rio (81') came close on a corner. Almost struck it with its thigh.
First time Hoilett (83') runs to the left flank he creates something, with a weak cross into the area. Miracle, the ref sees a penalty. Chester its shell-shock.
Austin (85') missed a pen. McCregor saves it on his bottom right corner.
A cross from the left meets Zamora, the ball falls on Remy (88') but he can't turn it around.
Another fantastic run by Remy, through pass to Zamora (93') but he fails to convert.
Ball recovered, Phillips cross from the right, Zamora assists Remy (93'), he evades the area with a brilliant first touch, fires on goal, good save.
The last chance was for Hull. Livermore wins it versus Hoilett and goes solo against Rio, Shot it over the bar. Tipical from Jake...Open Controls↑↑↑ yikes
Open ControlsNice..check out Bartons chances created...good stuff.
Open ControlsExactly.
He was on every corner and every free-kick. Direct or lateral.
Do not understand how he didn't took the pen.
Austin looks a mixture of D.Graham with Nuggent.Open Controls
Cheers.

What are people doing with Jovetic?
I wasn't expecting Aguero to be back so soon.Open ControlsKeeping. He'll start the next as Aguero is not upto speed yet.

Was experimenting (drunk) Wednesday, went to my buddies wedding rehearsal Thursday and woke up in a stupor yesterday with this lot selected. Guess I have to be happy with my 55, stay calm and roll with Yaya, but I really didn't intend to keep him in... Really would prefer having Mata, Siggy and Hendo, having ignored the Ashley young talk for 99.7% of the preseason! I got sucked in at the last moment... Oh well, too late now.
last post Wednesday:
I've decided that my 3-5-2 needs more power.
-Ashley Young essential (until 1st intl break) with Shaw, Valencia and Rafael hurt, no signings
-Yaya is clearly the best player in the league, proven consistent and fixture proof
DeGea (Foster)
Terry Debuchy OShea (Wisdom Moore)
Yaya Fab Ramsey Young (wanymana)
Rooney Costa Bojan
1) scrap it, too weak relying on Bojan and no subs
2) tweak it, DeGea/Foster downgrade for depth
3) roll it back, Mata, Siggy, Hendo for Yaya, Young, WanyamaOpen ControlsLol
Open Controls
Keep or sell mata?
Open ControlsDepends who ya buy. Sig yes, fab probably otherwise hold
Open ControlsI'd give Mata at least one more week. Maybe United can actually get some wide play next week, and Sunderland won't be able to clog the middle.
Open ControlsSell him..If Mata drops then you won't be able to afford Silva,Ramsey, Walcott, Gerrard, Ozil, and Cesc...Mata>Cesc for a home game against Leicester ensures all those players are available in the next few weeks...Mata v Sunderland ensures they aren't.
Open Controls
Okay, so my current team is:
De Gea (Gilks)
Debuchy, Caulker, PvA, (Duff, Moore)
Hazard, Mata, Ramsey, Eriksen, Davis
Rooney, Costa, (Bojan)
I'm inclined to leave it as it is and save my FT. Can anyone see any massive flaws that demand immediate change? Thanks.Open Controls7 home fixtures for gw2. Begovic, Sanchez, Mata and Rooney making up the rest 😯
Open Controlsso, after gw1, fab or haz?
Open ControlsFab
Open Controls
Yikes! The first time I made would have only gotten 22 points without a captain! http://www.fantasyfootballscout.co.uk/2014/07/22/scout-report-remy-cabella/?hc_page=11#hc_comment_7634625

Open Controls
Sigurdsson, Fabregas, Sterling, Ramsey, Tadic
Power 5 after WK 1.
Rooney, Costa, xOpen ControlsHow did every1 think Costa did? Again its tough because with respect it was Burnley but i thought he looked sharp
Open ControlsOn any unrelated note. Ha anyone got an LG G3? I have had HTC's for my last couple of phones but am not that excited about the HTC M8 due to what looks to be a below par camera. Anyone know what it is like to live with one?
Open ControlsOk groupies - this is SLIGHTLY less knee jerk, but here goes:
I have Mata, but I'm wondering this:
Dzeko & Albrighton OUT
Naismith & Fabregas IN
Reasons:
1 = Naismith could be decent value at 5m if he keeps playing (bench for next couple of weeks though), while I'm always nervous about Dzeko's game time and two or three tough fixtures ahead.
2 = Fabregas looked good (more importantly Chelsea looked very good), will rise in price, and has Leicester at home. He may blank, or they could destroy them 5-0 or something...
Cost = 4pts
Thoughts?Open ControlsYou basically spend two transfers to make one change. I don't like transfers like that, unless they're necessary.
Open ControlsGood point, but my thinking is that I wouldn't make a change the following week, thereby recovering the free transfer.
If I wait a week (meaning I have 2 FS next week) the I'd have missed the juicy Fabregas fixture.
(but then you can guarantee Dzeko scores against Liverpool)!Open Controls
A bit nervous having Caulker - to Jones or Debuchy or give him another week or two?
Open ControlsHazard -> Sterling
Terry -> PvA
Dzeko -> Aguero
Thinking of doing this next week for -4. Thoughts?Open Controls- Open Controls
Word on the street is Eduardo Vargas has rejected a move to Sunderland an will join QPR on loan. Had a good look at him and certainly one for the notebook.
Open ControlsInteresting. Looked good in the wc. Thought Arsenal were keen?
Open Controls
Looks like I'll concentrate more on UFPL
Shocker in FPLOpen ControlsWhy didn't Ivan get an assist for Costa's goal?
Open Controls"If an opposing player touches the ball after the final pass before a goal is scored, significantly altering the intended destination of the ball, then no assist is awarded."
Open Controls
keep hoping the knee jerking will have died down by the time I come back on here but it seems each time I come back there's even more knee jerking 😕
Open Controlssome of it is rational, especially with certain question marks answered with double digit hauls
Open ControlsTo be fair the site spent about six weeks telling folk not to knee jerk Ramsey and Yaya last season...
Open ControlsIt's our own fault. Too many knowledgeable posters here preach the importance of team value. People abandon their plan and jump on the first bandwagon that they see.
Open Controls
So besides being a flop, any reason why Soldado wasn't chosen over Kane?
Looking at Spurs attacking options if I can't fit in Eriksen or LamelaOpen ControlsDoesn't seem that Soldado is in Poch's plans at all. Wouldn't surprised to see him go elsewhere before the window closes.
Open ControlsI went Silva over Yaya.
Does that mean Ade is a good look for the next few Spurs fixtures or at least til after week 3 when I WC prolly?Open Controls
Was chelsea d not impressive?
Open ControlsRight lads, so have been giving it a big think and could use another perspective.
I got Sturridge from the off to keep a place for Kun warm, but I need to find that .5 to upgrade him. I am not in a rush to get Aguero, and I was thinking of saving my transfer and bringing him in next week. The two candidates I have to downgrade are either Mata or Arnautovic. Mata would tidily downgrade to Sterling to give me the .5 but I would have to do it this week as Sterling will rise. It would also leave me well set up with a good share into Liverpool attack. But this option would leave me with Sturridge and Sterling going into the City game. Or I can sit tight for another week and look to shift out Arnie for a 6.0 or less, keep Mata for a bit longer, and forget about Sterling - problem is I don't see anyone really in that bracket besides Siggy who I already have that I want.
Is the difference between Mata and Sterling due to be less than the difference between Arnie and a 6.0 or less mid?
Any advice? I am going back and forth on it and can't really figure it out 🙁Open ControlsI'd do Arnie > someone gw3 when they face City or downgrade defence
JWP Henderson?Open ControlsWait a week and reassess after Pool match. Playing time...fitness...injury???? No!!!
One more goal and he is in
Brace v pool he is BEYOND essential week 3Open ControlsI will not bring him in this week under any circumstance. The question really was whether or not to do Mata to Sterling now and free up the funds to get Kun in for GW3 or wait and downgrade Mata for someone else or Arnie in a double transfer after GW2. What would you say to that, Stup?
Open ControlsI'm sick of seeing the word Mata around here so I sold for Siggy. I want Sterling but it just seems mental ahead of City, especially as a fan, one who thinks our spine can shut down the Pool.
Mata to Tadic or Cabella and wait a week to get Kun n Sterling?Open Controls
I hope that the notion of a Chelsea defender is essential has been properly dispelled.
They will get their fair share of clean sheets, but I'm really not convinced that playing a CHE defender every game is superior to a couple of rotating cheapies.
I'll undoubtedly get one later on in the season, but for now, I'm happy to cheer for Chelsea's opposition.Open ControlsWhat is the situation on Hazard? Keep or jump ship for Fabregas next GW?
Open Controlskeep. for all you know cesc blanks next gw and haz scores a brace....
Open Controlsyes that would be my worst nightmare after having Chester and Hutton on the bench this GW...
Open Controls
What they said
Open ControlsHazard tends to score big when he comes good. Fab more consistent i'd imagine. Hazard should be on pen's and plays further up, which I think justifies the extra price. I would not make a move yet.
Open ControlsCheers Bryan!
Open Controls
Very sideways.
Maybe I'm biased because I have neither of them, but there are just too many potential sources of attacking returns at Chelsea. They will score goals, but just try to predict who will be in the points each week. Fabregas, Hazard, Oscar, Schurrle, Willian, Salah... I'm probably forgetting someone... Any one of them can have a big game. I think the best bet is Costa. If he stays healthy, he is a bargain at 10.5.Open Controls
Solid 68 points this week but still completely painful having Siggy and Clyne as my first two subs 🙁
Open ControlsDoesn't matter. You got a good score and obviously got your pre-season picks bang on. Also you learned an invaluable lesson about benching the sig
Open Controls
Ended up on 59 but I've reconsidered my formation & decided 3-5-2 is the way to go rather than 3-4-3 which was what I chose. I have therefore activated my wc even though most would disagree
New wc team for gw2. 1.5 itb
Krul (Mannone)
Dier, Chester, Clyne (Hutton, Moore)
Sterling, Siggy, Ramsey, Fabregas, Ericksen
Costa (c), Rooney (Berahino)
I've got the top 7 price risers (Dier, Siggy, Berahino, Chester, Sterling, Fabregas, Ramsey).
The only spot I have question marks about is Ericksen v Silva. Ericksen might take a few games to get going & from what I've read on here he was poor v WHU. Can he pick it up v QPR at home. Silva on the other hand started great & with the MCI v LIV game probably going to be an open attacking game he could excel.
I might just leave Dier in & see how he goes even though he'd probably lose his spot when Walker/Vertonghen return. Also he has a good fixture this week & good chance of a cs.
Thoughts appreciated & thanks in advance.Open ControlsWhat was your previous team out of curiosity?
Open ControlsBegovic, Myhill
Terry, Chambers, Bruce, Baird, Hutton
Sterling, Ericksen, Ramsey, Young, Marney
Rooney, Costa, Sturridge
I mainly wildcarded to change formation & to take advantage midfield talent. Forwards only have 4 options imo (Rooney, Sturridge, Aguero, Costa) whereas midfield has better options.Open Controls
