What are people with Felipe Luis doing?
Open ControlsI do not own, dodged that bullet. If i owned him, i would sell.
Open ControlsNor do I... just strange to see so much money going for a left back and not starting
Open Controlsthey have a heavy schedule. If Azpi ever got injured they would be screwed. Besides, they sort of did it last season when Cole rode the bench for much of the season.
Open Controls20 million for a 29 year old left back that won't start though, seems absurd.
Suppose if they win the league squad depth will have had its part to play.Open Controls
Oh.. it's Filipe.
Open ControlsI don't have him, but I'd monitor the situation and only transfer him out before next week if he's dropping in price.
Open ControlsDoes seem odd by Jose not to play him but i think ill give it one more week (think he might feature a bit more at home)
Open Controls
If you had to make the trade this week which Spurs defender would you get and why? Or is Clyne a better option?
Open ControlsClyne for sure

Kaboul is team captain, playing beside Vertonghen & for Pochettino means he's great value for £5mil...
Open ControlsKaboul is top of my list.
I would have though Vert and Kaboul would be the first choice and he has some goal threat as well.
Pochettino can only helpOpen Controls
Barkley did not go down n price. any idea why?
Open Controlsred flagged....they haven't figured out how many transfers it will take for an injured player to drop yet.
Open Controls
What pisses me off about owning Caulker is that after watching QPR vs Hull, I seen how shit Joey Barton's set-pieces are. The chance of Caulker scoring from a Barton set-piece is close to nothing because Barton can't lift the ball over the first defender, whereas when Caulker was at Cardiff he had Whittingham whipping peach balls from almost every delivery.
Open ControlsFor those still contemplating ridiculous ways to get Fabregas, I repeat, he did NOT have a shot. He won't get 2 assists every game. Chances are the person you are scrambling to get rid of will get as many points as him over the next few weeks. Relax.
Open ControlsNope
Open Controls
This....there will be many occasions where he will be the assister to the assister and you will be S.O.L. It will be interesting if Schurrle can nail down a spot. I reckon he will be the best value out of all the CHE mids.
Open ControlsInteresting point. This sometimes happened when Fab was at Arsenal too, but he always shone in the end.
Open ControlsI agree. I have Fab for those opening two fixtures. No point in getting him now that one of them is gone. Of course, that's what I kept telling people about Coleman last season....
Open ControlsI have no interest in Cesc as of get, all I want is Sterling
Open ControlsSterling plays the same position as Sturridge, is 3 mil cheaper, and he gets an extra point for every goal. And he's not made of glass. Yeah, he's at the top of my wishlist too. Still kicking myself for fixating on those opening fixtures.
Open Controls
Agreed.
I'm looking for more of a goal threat for £9+mil...Open ControlsErm, can't say I agree with that. From a confirmed Chelsea and Cesc hater and Hazard owner.
Open ControlsYou can't agree with what part?
- He didn't have a shot
- He won't get 76 assists this season
- Mata/Hazard/Yaya could easily score as much the next few games. It's ONE game that he scored more, means absolutely nothing.
But go on...Open ControlsHe was fantasy gold before and most likely will be again. Keep in mind that he could well play in the hole quite a bit with Ramires coming back in.
Open ControlsSo you can't agree with what part again?
He was FPL gold when he was in the hole and on penalties at Arsenal.
The point that he "might" play in the hole when Ramires is back does little convincing when Willian/Oscar are there and Fabregas didn't play in the hole pre-season even without those 2 there.Open ControlsYou sound like you can't actually come back with a proper argument 🙂
Open Controls
Good point.
Open Controls
Yes but was Ramires not suspended? Fabregas was set to play deeper than he's supposed to and Oscar ended up dropping back while Fab still got in great positions. Imagine if it was Matic + Ramires holding mids. Fabregas will probably get CAM and be even more threatening. Just food for thought.
Open Controls
In relation to the previous comment of Mata to Fab:
-Will Mata price drop this week?
-Will Fab price go up?
-Likelihood of Fab outscoring Mata in next 5 fixtures?
Gameweek 2 Sunderland (A)
Gameweek 3 Burnley (A)
Gameweek 4 QPR (H)
Gameweek 5 Leicester (A)
Gameweek 6 West Ham (H)
Gameweek 2 Leicester (H)
Gameweek 3 Everton (A)
Gameweek 4 Swansea (H)
Gameweek 5 Man City (A)
Gameweek 6 Aston Villa (H)Open ControlsHey Guys,
I had an average first week and I am looking to bounce back.
I have two transfers in mind
Sterling -> Sigurddson
Mata-> Fabregas
I think overall its a winner right, even with a 4 pt hit?
My team at the moment looks like this.
De Gea , Myhill
Bruce , Cahill , Vlaar, Lovren, Debuchy
Mata, Sterling, McCarthy, Sanchez, Wanyama
Rooney, Costa, Bojan
With 0.5 in the bank.
Making the above two moves will leave me with 2.9 in the bank
(could be used to upgrade bojan in time)
Thanks for your help!Open ControlsHardly justifies a 4 point hit as sterling and Mata have the potential to easily match if not surpass siggy and fab, Stick with one of the two and save
Open ControlsWhy would you transfer out Sterling for Sigurdsson? I would advise keeping Sterling and trimming on your defense. Then probably swap in Siggy for McCarthy or something. I would also wait another game or two to see whether Mata is truly a lost cause.
Open Controlsdont take out sterling ...
Open ControlsTeam looks decent. Pick one or even just sit tight. No call to take a hit.
Open ControlsKeep Sterling.
Downgrade Lovren
Wanyma/ Mc Carthey (dont know him?) to SiggyOpen ControlsStep away from the computer. Those transfers are horrible.
Open ControlsBoth moves unnecessary imo. Why would you transfer out Sterling if you had him?
Open ControlsPhewwww.... I guess thats why you guys are so great!
Ok, i will reconsider!
Ha ha , cheers everyone 🙂Open Controls
Guzan, (Gilks)
Kompany, Cahill, (Amat, Wisdom, Dummett) - 1 of 3 in parentheses
Fabregas, Ramsey, Sterling, (Tadic), (Mutch)
Rooney, Costa, (Bojan)
play 2 out of Tadic, Mutch, and Bojan
thoughts? suggestions?Open ControlsLets say I wanna get Kun in, who should I sacrifce Rooney or Costa ? I know the sample size is extremly low but I just wanna get him in so bad and asap probz by the gw3 game vs stoke
Open Controlsdont get Kun in and keep Rooney and Costa both have favourable fixtures while Kun doesnt
Open Controls
A) Save a FT
B) Get Sig / Fab in somehow, get some team value
C) WC for giggles
Bego (4.0)
Terry Clyne Chester Kelly (Moore)
Haz Ramsey Sterling Eriksen (Marney)
Costa Rooney (Bojan)Open ControlsWildcard activated. Which combination looks to score most points by december?
Open ControlsCaulker to Clyne or save a free transfer?
Open ControlsA or B for wildcard team A. Debuchy+Ivanovic+Aguero B. Pva+4.5+Aguero
Open ControlsA is a million times better, but presume it leaves you short in other areas?
Open Controls
So how did we all do DZ? I ended up on a distinctly average 55 points, with Cesc saving my bacon. The only players that delivered any points for me were those that I set in stone at the beginning of the selection process (Cesc, Ramsey, Rooney, Costa) and those that I toyed with for the remaining month flopped (Young, Chambers, Wisdom). Makes you wonder whether all the heart ache is worth it really? Next year I am just going to pick a team, then look at it the day before and swap out those that are doubts / injured.
Open ControlsA cool 72 for me. No Ramsey, Cesc or Sterling 😯
Open Controls😯 Nice. 58 for me. No siggy or cesc
Open ControlsWow. That is impressive!
Open ControlsWhat overall rank does 72 get you?
Open ControlsAbout 33k
Open Controls
62 points, pretty happy with start, only real choice I had and got wrong was Eriksen instead of Sterling but its early days.
Open ControlsExact same as me. Opted for Eriksen because of his set pieces and kept 0.5 in the bank. Now I don't want to bring him in because of this weeks fixtures
Open Controls
A cruel 56. Bulk of my points came Saturday and it was downhill from there.
Open ControlsI dropped heaps after the Chelski game
Open Controls
Guzan,(Gilks)

thoughts? suggestions?Open ControlsMata v. Fabregas will most likely end up within 10/15pts of each other come the end of the year.
Like picking between a blonde or a brunette*...
In the end, it's just a matter of personal preference.
*In before, why not both? 😉Open ControlsPerhaps over the course of the season, but did you watch Hazard at the world cup? He was woeful. Form has to come into it and based on last night's performance I know who I would pick.
Open ControlsNope blonde is always the right answer
Open ControlsI chose Fab because he is on a better team has quality around him
Open ControlsFab is the brunette and Mata is the blonde or the other way around?

Open ControlsHi all. Please have a look here and let me know what you would do?
De Gea (Gilks)
Naylor, Clyne, Cahill, (Wisdom, Pieters)
Lamela, Mata, Sigurdsson, Ramsey, (Marney)
Jovetic, Rooney, Costa.
Stick or twist?Open ControlsAbsolutely nothing. Sit back and wait for the next game week to start
Open ControlsThere are 2 groups it seems.
Those are all about changing and mixing things up and those that are happy and patient enough to sit back and wait..
Hard to deny that Fabs, Sterling, Tadic are going to be awesome.
Mata, Lamela and Jovetic tho...
Cant we just put up our hand and say we may have been wrong??
Are there stats to back the waiting game?
Do people hold or switch for the sake of it?Open ControlsI'd suggest checking out the FPL history of the 2 groups. Most of the time it gives you a good scope of what is the 'sensible' thing to do.
Open Controls
worth putting in kaboul for caulker this GW?
Open ControlsSave FT
Open Controls
Got Gibbs and Dann in my draft team. Any word on their injuries?
Open ControlsGuzan,(Gilks)

any suggestions appreciatedOpen ControlsSorry let me put it much clearer. Choose A or B first to five pls A. Debuchy+Ivanovic+Dzeko B. Pva+4.5+Aguero
Open ControlsMy glorious front 7...
Silva. Ramsey. Siggy. Sterling. Fabregas
Costa (c) Rooney
Very happy. Rooney to Aguero if need be soon.Open ControlsHazard for Silva and Studge for Costa makes it perfect. Very nice though.
Open Controls
I have definitely missed something but who the hell is PVA
Open Controlsi was going to get silva but everyne talked me out of it and bang he scoes. awrggh
Open ControlsIts def a repeat of last year then.
Silva will have 20 goals scored and he ll still be doubted.
Yaya 2.Open Controls
I have Caulker, Chambers, Wisdom + 0.5 in bank. Do you think it's worth it to swap out Caulker for Clyne and Wisdom for Chester/Coloccini?
