I would leave Fabregas well alone. He was roaming forward to some degree but I really can't see him scoring more than 5-6 goals this season from open play and seems to be someone who we will have to rely on for assists at this stage in his career. I didn't see him making those Ramsey-esque bombs into the box at all which is required for someone who plays as deep as him. Could be proven wrong, surely, but I am not plumping for Fab after just one game from what I saw.

Fabregas had 3 *chances created* today.
Now here's some players who also had at least 3 key passes over the weekend:
Barton & Sanchez managed 5 a piece & then 11 others equaled Fabregas' total.
This list includes players like Jovetić, Mata, Cabella, etc...
Additionally, Fabregas was the only player here *not* to register an attempt on goal.
This isn't too say you shouldn't bring him in but, these are numbers to consider.Open Controls-

I still don't know where the points will be in the Chelsea midfiled any given week (Hazard, Oscar, Schurrle, Willian, the list goes on) Fab had one great assist and took a corner that lead to a goal due to horribly disorganized defence. I had Silva instead of Fabregas, so i have two points worth of jealousy, I suppose. But let's hold off on the player of the year talk.
