I would leave Fabregas well alone. He was roaming forward to some degree but I really can't see him scoring more than 5-6 goals this season from open play and seems to be someone who we will have to rely on for assists at this stage in his career. I didn't see him making those Ramsey-esque bombs into the box at all which is required for someone who plays as deep as him. Could be proven wrong, surely, but I am not plumping for Fab after just one game from what I saw.

Fabregas had 3 *chances created* today.
Now here's some players who also had at least 3 key passes over the weekend:
Barton & Sanchez managed 5 a piece & then 11 others equaled Fabregas' total.
This list includes players like Jovetić, Mata, Cabella, etc...
Additionally, Fabregas was the only player here *not* to register an attempt on goal.
