Gently does it. Granville and I ease ourselves into the season with another thirty-minute bite-size podcast, gradually building up our fitness before we go full tilt next month.

Yes, it’s just the pair of us again, cuddling up in our intimate studio to discuss the events of Gameweek one, whilst casting one eye on the fixtures and events to come this weekend.

We get through the usual array of regulars, with Granville explaining how a wedding and a bout of childcare threatened to ruin his campaign, just as it gets out of the blocks. We reach out to all those Siggy benchers, whilst picking the bones out United’s limp corpse following their opening day defeat. We then chat Fabregas vs Hazard, Ivanovic vs the rest (they’re going to run and run) and sing Ultimate’s praises for helping the previously unloved play their part in our Fantasy seasons.

Pick at the buffet via this link, or dash straight to the main course via the handy player below….

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

Purely depends on if long starts tbh. Wanyama, Schneiderlin, Tadic and Pelle fixed. so if long starts it's between JWP/Davis and that could be a 50/50

Ince seems short term and not good enough to be the 4th mid. Hull are looking to sign a forward and that might have an effect on Ince's prospects.

Still a bit at loss here - feel uncomfortable going into the GW without Chelsea mids, but still want to hold on to Ramsey/Sterling/Mata:

    Begovic (Gilks)

Terry - Hutton - Chester (Chambers Duff)

Ramsey - Mata - Siggy - Sterling (Aluko)

    Rooney - Costa - Dzeko

So what to do - save FT, or find a way to jump on Fabregas bandwagon? Seeing Pool has bad fixtures, maybe swap Sterling for Fabs?

90% of people on here will say Bojan, I think Young, think he has more of a chance attacking-wise than Bojan does.

That's actually true. just the risk of having to play my Leicester defender if he doesn't. al should become clear, arteta was hardly a world class cdm anyway so perhaps wengers hand has been forced

    Krul
    Terry - Chester - Clyne
    Mata - Fabregas - Ramsey - Davis
    Rooney - Costa - Austin

    Green - Henderson - Jones - Chambers

Should I save my FT, or is there another suggestion?

QPR drafting in a striker has made me question Austin who is now on this ice already......is it worth losing Mata ---> Siggy so that I can upgrade Austin next week?

S Davis, Saints at home to WBA definitely more chance of points than Sunderland at home to Utd, even if Utd didn't impress first game.

Thanks. Not sure still though. Davis isnt the most regular of goalscorers, and Man United's defence didnt seem too secure. Last minute decision probably, but sticking with Davis for now

yeah Utd's defence doesn't look the strongest but just don't fancy Fletcher to score against them either this week. Davis isn't the most regular of goalscorers but could pop up with a goal or an assist. Fancy Saints to have a good first game at home.
