Aye - I reckon there will be an algorithm to help identify the best candidate for captain but I have not sussed it yet.
I am using points over last 4 weeks to help identify who in your current team is performing below standard so you know who to sell and also who is performing to a high standard so you can get them in.
The version I am using also has the fixture difficulties but have not included it in published version in case it violates my FFS subscription to members area.

im not kidding, i actually use talksport to fall asleep each night. i usually struggle to fall asleep but ever since i started playing it while going to bed it works like a charm. lights out in quick time. its the best thing i have ever found to fall asleep, not even joking.

DGWs occur usually if teams have had previous games cancelled due to weather or around Cup game weeks when two sets of league fixtures are pushed into one week.

It's when some teams have two games in one week and you get the pts for both games. Usually people play their wildcards in the hope that they will get double whammy pts but it never works out that way...THEY END UP DROPPING SNODGRASS AN LALLANA WHILST THE PLAYERS THEY PICK GET BENCHED FOR THE SECOND GAME !!!...(not that I'm still bitter or anything)

Went for Jovetic --> Naismith.
As mentioned by others Naismith has guarenteed game time, is playing in the hole for a top 6 team and
Although im not entierly comfortable with it, he seems as good as the other options (Giroud- potentially injured; Bony - out of form; Ade - probably is the best option of the 3) but crucially frees up 3.5m which will act as a facilitator in the coming weeks and provide flexibility to alter strategy to accomodate Aguero and/or a 5th mid (Tadic/Eriksen etc) or a premium defender (Coleman, Ivan).
The final factor guiding my decision, is price rises. Naismith, on the back of two 9pt hauls will move to 5.4 easily with potential to go higher. And at 5mln i dont mind him sitting on the bench and i'll play 3-5-2 / 4-4-2 with the option to switch him in.Open Controls-
