Sunday serves up a trio of Gameweek encounters, with Thursday’s Europa League ties pushing Hull and Tottenham’s home fixtures alongside Man United’s trip to the Stadium of Light.

Events begin at the KC Stadium and White Hart Lane, with Steve Bruce’s Hull hosting Stoke and Mauricio Pochettino’s Spurs facing a London derby clash with QPR. Fantasy managers will be focused mainly on the latter, with Christian Eriksen the top owned asset on show from the early kick-offs.

Attention then turns to the North East, with Louis van Gaal’s United outfit taking on Sunderland in a bid to get their season underway following the opening day defeat to Swansea. With a staggering 48% ownership, Wayne Rooney remains the headline act, while Juan Mata’s 19% ownership will be holding out for returns in order to stem a tide of sales that have already seen the Spanish playmaker drop in price.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

looking to move him on asap. Just freed up the 3m i need to move him to Ade / Dzeko. Not decided which one yet. No wriggle room on the price though. If he looke like falling this week i will need to burn 4 pts, as only Ade and Dzeko hold any value at 8.5.

Shall I do Bojan --> Naismith already? I think Bojan and whole of Stoke must have been dreadful against 10 men Hull and Bojan started on the bench, so I guess this transfer should be a safe bet and Bojan might even drop to 5.4 shortly

      Adebayor - Played brilliant.

Lamela - corner assist and 2nd assist from a nice dribble and cross, looked dangerous.

Eriksen - horribly unlucky, hit the bar with a free kick and bounced off the line, had a few shots blocked to..

    2. HUMZAH96
      12 years, 26 days ago

Adebayor was decent, got a goal. Just the normal from him

Eriksen hit the post from a free kick, but apart from that he was good but not much of a direct goal threat

Lamela was on point today, oozing confidence and got 2 assists, could have had a goal too. He out performed Eriksen today

3 of them were outstanding! best game lamela has played for spurs! Eriksen a constant threat and desperatly unlucky not to score, he was playing furthest forwrd of all the midfielders and was invlced in everything! Adebayor was Adebayor, just looks on form and hungry atm and when he's like that he's a good fpl option

Barring any suspensions/injuries, I'm going to do the following:

    Sound good?

    1. Wilshere Knowledge

Getting Lamela is a bit sideways.

      1. A Wild Lurker Appeared
        • 12 Years
        12 years, 26 days ago

Thats what I thought till I looked at the stats. Eriksen only managed 3 take ons, 1 of which was successful. Lamela attempted 11, of which 6 were successful. He also looks more explosive and involved than Eriksen, who was unlucky but just looked slightly too pedestrian at times for my liking.

    2. HUMZAH96
      12 years, 26 days ago

Sounds good, Lamela was better than Eriksen today, but who is to say Eriksen won't be better next week?

Ha, thanks buddy. Yes he could very well be, he is on set pieces after all. See the above reasoning for why I'm contemplating the switch though. Just an unlucky day!

Eriksen to Lamela reeks of kneejerking.. and you'll kick yourself if you miss out on Caulker's goal the coming week 😉

      1. A Wild Lurker Appeared
        • 12 Years
        12 years, 26 days ago

Caulker just frustrates me though, and its annoying how he kept missing open headers. He could score next week you're right, but QPR look like conceding at every attack right now which means Caulker would have to score every couple of games or so just to keep a respectable score, which seems unlikely!

And see my above reasoning for Eriksen v Lamela decisions..

    4. Holding Mee Bong
      • 12 Years
      12 years, 26 days ago

A lot of eriksen owners will jerk to Lamela because of the high to low ownership. maybe keep caulker for one more game

Bit hard to stay with him, he's become a bit of a drain. I'd rather get Bertrand in for Saint's decent fixtures.

If bertrand gets 2 points though you could be a lot of points worse of if caulker gets a cleansheet with the -4. I personally dont think taking a hit for defenders is worth it
