What do people honestly think the merits are of saving a wildcard my highest ever position was when I wildcarded early as it gave me funds to spend really early on and I tried saving my wildcard last year and had a shocker.

Use it when your team needs the most. -
Might play mine when Walcott is back. I've played it late and early and made no difference really.

I think GW6 is a good time to assess who are the hits and the flops
But yeah saving it for March/April time is too late imo -
Lots of transfer activity and players settling after World Cup, so use it later when form is clearer

The nice thing about saving it for me is that it's hard to mess up when it's spent on double game weekers. The margin of error is much smaller than right now, when it's hard to tell who's best of Hazard, Fabregas, Sterling, Ramsey, Mata, Lamela, Eriksen etc. That said, if you think the wildcard will improve your team right now, by all means bust a move early.

I use my WC early and am using it this season in GW3, the reason for this is later on in the season values can fluctuate so much that even with a WC you cant get all the players you want.
I try to hold out till the transfer window ends as its normally still in the air with the big squads, this season is an exception (with the exception to Man Utd) so use it now as you have greater flexibility and I believe the big scoring midfielders have already made themselves known.

Anybody here own Alexis? Despite the fact that this Giroud news will lead to him being played CF, as an Arsenal fan I am gravely worried about our prospects. Thinking now is the time to ditch him for either Sterling or Silva. Then use the funds to bring Aguero in for Rooney. Good moves?

Obviously want to get Bojan and Chambers out of the team but also think that just making one transfer this week and having two going into the international break will be a big advantage.
Option one:
Collocini for Chambers (who would play this week)
Option two:
Bojan for Naismith/Berahino/Fletcher/Weiman (who would not play this week but would avoid inevitable Bojan price drop)
Option three:
Any combination of two transfers
This now becomes more relevant since the Giroud injury came to light. A mid price option like Sanogo/Campbell/possibly Reme in a top 4 team could be an option.
Would really appreciate some opinion on this.-

Currently confused.
For example will Bojan drop tonight and Larsson rise? Last year the answer would have been yes...now it's vague...and daunting!
