Well here's an interesting one... the key stats score comes out 8 to 1 in favour of Jovetic but one particular stat that Bony comes out on top is SHOTS ON TARGET.
Read what you want into that but in my book, Jovetic can have 60% more shots per game than Bony but if Bony gets 50% more shots on target, I sort of prefer that.

As much stick as United are getting, I see them scoring a good few against Burnley.
I don't think Burnley will play the same way as they did against Chelsea. United are vulnerable to attack so Burnley know they might have a chance to score, but defensively I can see them getting caught in possession and caught on the break, especially if Di Maria starts-

Same front 8... I'm thinking about just doing Dzeko > Jovetic. IMHO, Spurs will beat Pool. Pool have a tired and shaky defence, a few knocks in there too. Eriksen's stats are good and he was unlucky last week.

He was pretty meh, alright at times.

Jovetic's stats are great, he's in good form, Dzeko isn't really in good form and just took a knock. City play with 2 up front always and Aguero isn't at full fitness yet.
Any reason NOT to do Dzeko > Jovetic?-
I think it's a case of this.
If you have Dzeko keep him. I think it's quite a sideways move. I reckon City will be unchanged, meaning Dzeko could easily outscore Jovetic (that's from an owner).
If you don't have Dzeko OR Jovetic I would advise bringing in Jovetic-
Interesting.. thanks. Just a bit wary of keeping Dzeko and facing a drop + him not starting potentially... chance Aguero could sneak back into the starting XI, surely?
Jovetic is good value at 7.9, hard to resist but I am in a knee-jerky mood right now-
There is a good chance of Aguero starting against Stoke but given it's a home game and it's not against a main rival I think he'll approach it the exact same way as the Liverpool game.
Aguero coming on against a tired Stoke defence for the last half hour could work out better than risking him for 60 minutes and having to risk him getting injured-

I'm gonna do the logical thing and wait to do the transfer as long as possible in case other issues arise in my team. Hope Jovetic won't rise or look like rising tonight...

I'd keep one spare in case Chester loses his place if Dawson arrives. I'm in a similar position but doing Huth ---> Coloccini after the game tonight once I know he gets through the match okay.-

Dzeko ➡ Ade is my favourite atm, but may change my mind. Loosing DDG crossed my mind as well, but I think I'll stick with him for now-

It burns a transfer going between two players who are roughly equivalent prospects. If Dzeko's knock is indeed serious, then the transfer makes more sense, but if not Dzeko/Jovetic is still a coinflip for me. Could go either way.

Good point. If the price changing sites are to be trusted, then Dzeko is far away from dropping, which makes sense as he had quite a lot of NTI's last week but didn't rise. Reckon many sales this week will cancel those out and he'll only drop on Friday or Sat evening...
I'll wait for more news on Dzeko I think.

I'm not surprised. Everyone thought it was Aguero OR Jovetic, and Dzeko OR Negredo.
But I think Jovetic is more than capable of playing with Kun. Jovetic isn't exactly a small guy, he's strong, great with the ball on his foot or in the air. I think Jovetic and Kun offers a lot more versatility then Dzeko and one of Kun/Jovetic-
Exactly, that theory was a myth. Tevez and Kun used to be a beastly partnership as well 🙂

It doesn't really change anything for me. I'd say a fit Aguero is #1 in the pecking order (Although he might be rested more regularly all season) but I don't think Jovetic/Dzeko will ever be "nailed on" unless Aguero is injured. There will be plenty of rotation depending on form/match ups. That said, if Jovetic keeps scoring, hopefully he'll keep playing...

Part of the reason Mata has looked so poor is lack of team pace means very little space for Mata to operate in. He may get a chance to play with Di Maria to see if Di Maria can open some space up.

He's one of the major contributors to the lack of pace issue. And I guarantee you it won't be Rooney or RVP dropped. Mata will lose out.
