With cheque books fluttering on the eve of the transfer window slamming shut, our Fantasy seasons could be transformed by some notable new arrivals. In this week’s ScoutCast episode, Granville and I chew over the latest fresh faces to crash the player list – United’s “Angel” Di Maria and Liverpool’s “Devil” Balotelli.

With just a single point between us and the comfort of top 100k placings, my co-host and I are more than just a little content as we the rule over the current bandwagons and preview another weekend’s action. It won’t last.

Bed yourself in via this link, or get acclimatised via the handy player below…

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

Seriously Freaky, if you were manager of Chelsea FC in this scenario would YOU play him?

If you answer yes, you're mental.

So, I'm curious to know, how many people are thinking of running with a 3-5-2 this season?

I've used that for the first 2 GW's. Was gonna / probably am gonna wildcard next week and I just seem to think that a 3-5-2 looks like it'll give better returns than others. I'd much rather have a 8-9m midfielder than a 8-9m forward.

Am I the only one thinking this?

      1. Acquafresca
        • 14 Years

        It's close.

        Sterling/ Eriksen/ Lamela/ Tadic

        vs

        Jovetic/ Dzeko/ Adebayor/ Bony

        1. WHY ALWAYS MESUT?

I would even look at it as:

          Lukaku

              Exactly what I'm thinking.

              Currently thinking of doing:

              Ramsey/Mata/Fabregas/Silva/Siggy
              Rooney/???/Vaz Te

??? would be one of Aguero, Costa or Sturridge. Probably Aguero I think. Though if Costa is still fit, I think i may just stick with him as it gives me an extra 1.5m for defense.

It's all about who you got. So far this season it is possible to put together a team that scores better at mid than at forward. But there is clearly a set of three forwards that are more likely to bring in points than mid. So if you have the (or a) right front three, then play 3-4-3. If not, I think you can do as well with the right 3-5-2.

        1. WHY ALWAYS MESUT?
          • 12 Years
          11 years, 3 months ago

I see where you're coming from but honestly, the only real combinations I think fit that category of three forwards is something like Rooney, Costa, Sturridge (or Aguero in one of those spots). The sheer cost of that seems a little too high really!

          1. Amateur Pundit Zan
            • 12 Years
            11 years, 3 months ago

I think ade will outscore Erik or lamela so if that is the difference between 3-5-2 and 3-4-3 then I would go ade 3-4-3

But I think sterling is better value than Sturridge so if that was the difference if go sterling 3-5-2

As eunuch says not clear cut and really depends on the players and squad balance you are looking for

              Way I look at it:

Equally, if you have a great week you'll spend two weeks looking at your team and perhaps get to thinking that it's way better than it actually is, thus creating a false sense of security, and a unflinching attachment to certain players...

        And then BOOM!

Highest scoring player this weekend that you don't own?

      I think Kolarov.

The scene is set perfectly for him. Plump home fixture prime for a big haul followed by 2 hard games that he'll probably get a cameo at best (worst) in, sucking those kneejerkers in...

      Naismith, Costa, Rooney (c)

      Subs: Begovic, Moore, Caulker, Larsson

I'm concern about QPR leaky defend that will contribute to minus point for defender.

Wait until Mourinho's conference, all signs are pointing towards keeping him currently.

Terry hasn't won a single header from an attacking set piece this season.

Hope that changes this weekend, but it looks like he's lost quite a bit of his leaping ability.
