With cheque books fluttering on the eve of the transfer window slamming shut, our Fantasy seasons could be transformed by some notable new arrivals. In this week’s ScoutCast episode, Granville and I chew over the latest fresh faces to crash the player list – United’s “Angel” Di Maria and Liverpool’s “Devil” Balotelli.

With just a single point between us and the comfort of top 100k placings, my co-host and I are more than just a little content as we the rule over the current bandwagons and preview another weekend’s action. It won’t last.

Bed yourself in via this link, or get acclimatised via the handy player below…

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

Interesting article on Pochettino's high pressing tactics and how it can benefit Spurs.

    Eriksen or Pamela?

      Sterling
      Lamela

Lose Amat from your team he's dead in the water. Get Taylor and don't have 2 Villa defence, please.

For Silva Vs Sterling...Sterling because of better fixtures...

honestly truly think we're going to do one of our 3-0 romps.

won 3 out of 3, full of confidence, nice weather forecast, easy peasy lemon squeezy.

make a transfer on sunday night if your team has no injury scares then you can get the .2 rise if the player is in form.

Small print: Assuming a) they didn't rise Saturday night b) they don't get injured midweek and c) enough people transfer them in to generate a .2 rise. 🙂

Aguero was never injured - tackled in practice continued and no issues.
Costa has indeed an injury and is in contention - clear yellow flag.

Costa got flagged on rumours before confirmation.

Costa now confirmed okay by Chelsea TV, still flagged.

Having faced the humiliation of being knocked out of LMS in week 2 I drowned my sorrows last night and did the inevitable too early, too knee-jerky WC:

    Krul (Elliot)
    Dier, PVA, Dummett (Bertrand, Wisdom)
    Siggy, Fabregas, Sterling, Ramsey (JWP)
    Aguero, Rooney, Adebayour

Any obvious problems (other than the hugely optomistic punt on Rooney)?

I'm going to wait on Costa news but might trade to Jovetic since I have Hazard and Fabregas for Chelsea. Certainly Jovetic is good captain material and could get you a .3 rise if he gets another double digit haul.

after a brace why would pelle bench him, especially with aguero still not ready for a full 90 mins and dzeko with a little knock

of all four strikers, dzeko aguero and negredo are all less fit and in form than jovetic, it's a no brainer that he will start

Can't see Balotelli working out at Pool.

Just when they were becoming a strong team based team, replacing Suarez (huge team player) with Balotelli (generally a individual type player) is going to cause problems.

Sturridge and Balotelli won't be speaking by Xmas.

Im thinking I wanna bring Eric Dier into my team.

I have enough $$$ to do it this week for a -4 hit, but not sure how they will hold up against Tottenham.

Should I move Jelavic out for the hit, or wait till I have the week 4 FT, will his price rise that much over the weekend?

Anyone else thinking the lamela / eriksson dilemma is like the Ramsey / Walcott dilemma early last year? If you chose Walcott, as I did, you paid dearly.

Reckon you should choose the player scoring points (in this case lamela) over the player who has good numbers and great points in the previous season.

No. Walcott and Ramsey were both great choices last season - when fit! But Ramsey's significantly lower starting price made him a particularly good choice. There's no price difference between Lamela and Erikson.
