The Dugout Discussion – Burnley Vs Man United

Gameweek 3 gets underway with a lunchtime encounter between Burnley and troubled United. Having lost their first two matches, the Clarets are desperate to get points on the board and will certainly be buoyed by the current form of today’s opponents, as Louis van Gaal’s side stumble from one poor result to another.

With Angel di Maria poised to make his debut for the visitors, though, Fantasy owners of United’s attackers have a renewed sense of optimism for the Turf Moor meet. Captain Poll favourite Wayne Rooney, Juan Mata and Robin van Persie are all more than capable of delivering in emphatic fashion and could be set to benefit from the Argentine’s arrival.

Following this one, we have five matches to savour at 3pm before Everton host Chelsea in the evening kick-off at Goodison.

Even with United's fixtures I'm considering getting rid, they looked really poor defensively today.

There's just no way a team which has spent such a large quantity of money should look so utterly mediocre against a team which has spent nothing.

Jones clean and 3 baps (I hope)
    No armband on Rooney.

Rooney captainers and Mata owners fail, so not bad.

    Mata>Sterling
    Rooney>??

Seeing as I have Siggy, Mata, Costa, Eriksen, I'm going to have to double up somewhere.

Rooney to Ade/Ballo/Sturridge/Bony? Not a big fan of Naismith.
