I understand not getting Rooney in.. but taking him out? us owners have weathered the storm(with a goal that too) and now Manutd got QPR lei WHM coming up and have finally completed their signings(ADM and Blind and Rojo). they've got 2 weeks to work together and get things back on track and it looks like Rooney will be their main man this season with RVP looking a bit passed it. And im not even a Manu fan. seems a bit pointless to get rid tbh
-
Rooney gets one more game....,,ONE more. He doesn't even look like scoring.
-
not really any other strikers that I want, so I'm keeping
-
this actually. Find sturridge a bit overpriced and ive banned myself from goin down the aguero route again. Rooney seems the best option for now. it's not like a lot of em are standing out atm
-
Sterling better option for Liverpool I think. 11.5 way too expensive for Sturrr
-
Yup.. infact i made the switch to sterling last week 😯 .. gave up on the 3 biggies upfront as my team got a bit too imbalanced
-
-
-
-
Get rid
-
loads of time to think it over.
anyone doing a transfer tonight is beyond stupid-
It's a fair point.
-
I respectfully disagree. Aguero is probably going to rise tonight so swapping Rooney for him would be a reasonable choice. I was gonna stick with Rooney and Mata but their performance today was just.. wow. Katie is a beautiful name btw..
-
getting aguero in before he has 2 internationals to play is madness
-
No, it's just taking a risk. Most people would have to wildcard to bring him in anyway so you could easily swap him again. Keeping Rooney in a broken United like that is an equal risk and Aguero is rising 0.1, which is de facto a 0.5 drop at this stage; It isn't madness at all, it's just a calculated risk.
-
-
-
-
Won't be working together during Internationals
-
This. Most of the squad will be travelling
-
i meant LVG got 2 weeks to get things back in order.. dunno why i said that 🙂
-
-
I was gonna switch to Aguero and get rid of Ivanovic, but now he scored again I think I'm stuck with Rooney. Don't want him to drop in price tho.
-
As I've been saying since GW1, you don't want double Man U (hence my Mata sale), but you probably need some Man U. Although, as I've also been saying, I have doubts they will get their act together before this good run of games ends.
Of course, this is Fantasykneejerkscout, so 90% of people on here will now think Aguero is terrible for the next 12 days, making Rooney more attractive. I actually think it's a risk to drop him, but not totally crazy either. -
I'm getting rid during the break. The only downside is not a lot of stand out strikers bar Costa. I would honestly rather have Naismith than Rooney. I went without any United f or the last 33 weeks and finished 13k last season.
Its a myth you need United coverage, have you actually seen them play lately? -
I see where you're coming from sir.
Although, outside of a lively game v. Swans he's been dreadful via the *eye-test* & the underlying stats seem to support he's underperforming as well.
I think he's maybe had cpl attempts on goal & the odd chance created in his last two.
Couple this with a United side in transition & I you'd have to think there's better value out there atm...
-
-
54 with Ramsey and Eriksen to go. 8)
-
sweet
-
17 with Bruce Cavies Sterling Gerrard Sturridge(c) Lamela Eriksen & Ade to go
-
-
Where is my Clyne assist?
-
In didn't happen land.
-
-
Worst scout picks ever?
-
Who is this guy Abrams!???
-
Sorry AARONS
-
Why did he play? Will he stay in the team?
-
No. Bench cameos for the foreseeable.
-
-
-
Did an ok job on Star Trek.
-
-
So I know its early, but I've made my transfers for the next GW.
Didn't want to waste two weeks mulling over international matches and I could literally only just afford the following setup. I'm perfectly happy with this for the next few weeks:
http://imgur.com/FCdFeRK-
you are happy now.
you will not be happy in 2 weeks. -
Nice team
-
There will be injuries two some big names in the next two weeks. If you get unlucky, you may be staring a -8 or worse in the face. If not, nice team.
-
-
Only an idiot would take out Rooney & Mata for a hit before QPR at home...
-
Rooney to be the latest knee jerk fail it looks like. hattie next gw
-
Haha you're a dying breed you Utd fans
-
We were terrible today, van Gaal's 3-5-2 clearly isn't working, with one shot on target today?.
-
But yet you're gonna thrash QPR right? 😉
-
Exactly.
Look I want it to work out for United obviously but I can't see where there's an indication they'll thump QPR. -
Obviously.
-
-
-
-
They'll be trying to get Rooney back next week. 😀
-
Mata's hamstring went today though, so could be out for a bit.
-
i agree
-
-
Sanchez or Hazard ?
-
I was just wondering the same
-
don't get hazard. I can't wait to get rid of him!
-
Hazard for ever
-
hazard to sanchez was one of my 2 transfers this week, and made sanchez captain, just a hunch & oop
-
-
I'm wondering if It might be worth doing early transfers for the 2 week price changes if you still have a WC to use as back up if shit hits the fan
-
Krul // Foster
Chambers // Chester // Vlaar // PvA // Taylor
Chambers > ?-
Clyne
-
Wilson?
-
-
Dzeko and Jovetic
Two jokers in my team -
Bego, Krul
Clyne, N Taylor, Chambers, Dier, Bruce
Ramsey, Hazard, Mata, Siggy, Young
Costa, Rooney, Bojan
Should I wildcard???-
no
-
-
Diouf 🙁
-
It's one of them weeks
-
yea had him for gw 1, got rid right after that lol
should be more patient with him
-
-
-
Sanchez or Ramsey captain tomo?
Are we sure Sanchez will play?-
he'll play, question is where
-
As striker
-
-
I would captain Sanchez if I had him.
99% sure he will play.
-
-
Was planning on WCing this week, but not so sure now. Thoughts?
Begovic 4.0
Caulker Blackett Terry Wisdon Dummett
Fabregas Siggy Eriksen Ramsey Albrighton
rooney Costa Dzeko
If I was to WC, it'd be Dzeko, Caulker, Blackett, Begovic out for sure, and maybe Eriksen if he does nothing tomorrow and maybe Rooney too.
However, might just get Dzeko and Albrighton out for a 4.5 striker and Sterling or another midfielder of that price.
Cheers -
Rooney + Mutch > Siggy and Balotelli - 4
Zamora + Mutch > Ward-Prowse and Naismith - 4 -
Will fabregas rise tonight?
-
Depends if his bird is frisky.
-
😆
-
Yawn......
-
-
-
What do people think of the prospects of my team for gameweek 4?
Krul
Vertonghen. Clyne. Janmaat
Lamela. Sterling. Tadic Cabella
Balotelli (c) aguero. Adebayor-
dfifferent to the template, so could be great... or v.bad
-
Poor
-
-
Best City player to have not including Aguero? He just breaks the rest of my team with his price. Might just hold off City altogether for a few weeks and see what happens. Survived the no coverage vs. Stoke scare quite nicely, another game or two can't do much harm (I hope).
-
Silva? Maybe, who knows? I'm stuck with Nasri now
-
-
38(-4) two to play 😆
Should have held off on Young to Nasri (-4) and I'd be on 51
That's why this place is called ffs! -
Account deleted. Too obsessive to play this game, going to see what it's like to watch football while free. I paid for members as well like a few weeks ago to see what was beyond.
-
See you tomorrow 🙂
-
Haha, this. 😀
-
Ha ha. No this is goodbye! (can the members access be given to someone else?)
Really, the game is too poisonous for someone like me, it can only be fun if played from afar, not so attentively, like when i started in january my first time and didn't know what I was doing. I think the best way to play is patience and a few punts. People knee jerk because they over think, people overlook the long term every time, even when they so they won't. Everyone wants every player, but no one can have everyone, it results in a long list of mistakes.
As a man united fan I didn't want them them to score because I own Duff. That set me considering, then costa gets two goals in the the most miraculously goal frenzy game (i sold him for aguero), costa saved me. It's not being childish at things not going your way, it seems to be human nature to want to increase a number that doesn't mean anything but the competitiveness in you creates a kind of obsessive thinking that just isn't healthy for me. I could be reading a book and not endlessly coming up with the new perfect team in work break, for instance.
-
-
good point
-
Wait a few days and cool down before you do that, most on here had nightmare seasons but still hung in there and did OK in the end, its a long season, its not all about one GW
-
I'm not doing that bad, I'm just spending too much time either on here, watching games I wouldn't, hoping my team Man United don't score because I own Duff, or coming up with the Perfect Team in work break instead of reading a book. I wonder what I get out of it other than an arbitrary number and some green arrows. I'm in it if I can solve it like a puzzle, compete against the world is fun. But everyone else is doing the same.
-
-
21 points with a -8 ain't that bad...
-
Nah, it's not a bad score, but it warps how I watch football, ultimately i have to think what I'm getting out of spending time thinking and commenting on something so unpredictable. I kind of only want to play if I can solve it like a puzzle. But..there's too many players to really do that, and ...I'm autistic basically.
-
-
-
Marc Wilson long term prospects?
Why isn't Huth playing? -
Looks like I'll be bringing Costa back in for Jovetic tonight 🙄
-
Costa going up?
Would like to wait til tomo-
No idea but with the dodgy price sites I may have to move as I have exact funds
-
Same
-
-
-
Yep me too, with my tail between my legs 🙁
-
Every one makes mistakes, the wise ones correct them.
-
-
Am just about to do the same.
#puntfail -
are their prices swinging tonight?
-
nti reset today, won't rise i think
-
-
No spawny assist for Clyne then?
-
wait till tomorrow
-
I wonder if kim jong ill still likes man utd
-
Where did that come from?
-
-
-
What happens when Siggy is 100% ownership?
-
FPL breaks.
-
wont happen.. I will be stubborn and never buy, like with coleman last season.
-
-
Is there somebody who knows how many attempts did Caulker get today?
-
So did anyone do the following?
GW1: Own Jovetic
GW2: Jovetic -> Costa
GW3: Costa -> Jovetic -
I hope everyone does sell Rooney, that would be awesome. Do it now, before the internationals too.
😀 -
Hovering over over the wildcardbutton
Begovic - Krul
Ivanovic - Lovren - Yoshida - Wisdom - Duff
Ramsey - Sterling - Fabregas - Siggy - Jones
Aguero - Costa - Naismith.
Yay or Nay? -
Will 41 after bonus get me a greenie?
-
