Got a couple issues with this team now:

    Krul (Elliot)
    Terry Taylor Chester (Hutton, Wisdom)
    Hazard Ramsey Mata Siggy (Marney)
    Costa Rooney Jovetic

    0.2ITB. 1FT.

Rooney, Mata, Jovetic and Terry are my main issues. What would you do?

    (A) Terry and Mata out. Lamela and Ivanovic in for -4.
    (B) Terry and Hazard out, Fab and Ivanovic in for -4.
    (C) Mata and Jovetic out, Ade and Lamela in for -4.
    (D) Save FT.

Why is terry an issue? Mata and jovetic out makes sense , though its hard to find the right combo to replace. Ade and lamela a bit too much spurs though i like each individually so msybe it is fine

Cheers. I'll probably just save the FT I think and then do it next week when I have more information. I'm reluctant to sell Mata as well right before a home game to QPR.

Jovetic could continue to be a good pick but right now there is nothing to say he's nailed after today. Such is the see-saw for any other City forward besides Aguero. Costa is nailed and is also in form. Hazard is the price for this and Sterling is a good choice given upcoming fixtures.

Would certainly wait until tomorrow. But Hazard yet again didn't take a shot today. Very worried Mou's adjustments are affecting his chances.

Jovetic is as good as gone. After all that talk from Pelly he left a half fit Kun on and went back to his tried and true combination of Navas and a big man(Dzeko) coming on. I'm done.

Yes but unless he scores and/or is looking like MOTM he'll be the first one to get the hook even if he does manage to start. I don't agree with it. I said it was a daft choice when he was subbed and it proved to be in the end. But that's the way it is unfortunately. I'm not interested in that circus. No more City strikers for me.

Really doubt Jovetic will start against Arsenal. Unless Aguero gets injured. Aguero is always going to play and Dzeko suits Aguero more. Holding Hazard I can understand, but he's not showing much to justify spending the extra over Fabregas/other 9m options.

that was before the performance yesterday.

kun and jovetic won't be starting together imo, they are too alike, it doesn't work esp against taller defences.

Did you watch the game? Jovetic was useless and as soon as he was carted for Dzeko they actually had some presence up front.

That's absolute bunk. It was Navas providing width that improved them, slightly. Jovetic was clearly better than Aguero. But the City attackers were just crowding the hell out of each other in the middle of the pitch.

Don't agree Jovetic was better than Aguero, both equally shit if I'm honest. Yes, Navas provided the spark, but without Dzeko occupying Shawcross/Wilson and providing a target for Navas he wouldn't have done squat. Aguero/Jovetic both kept dropping deep and with Silva and Nasri also drifting centrally they did crowd each other. That's where the target man like Dzeko comes in.

No, you can't, but it's pretty obvious that if you own Jovetic/Dzeko then they need to be carted. Pronto

TBF it only became a plan after I spotted Doosra promoting the idea in pre-season. His plan was to swap him to Baines from GW8 and I liked the idea. After such a spectacular start however I'm not sure I'd want to part with Ivanovic at all.

I wouldn't. His stats are amazing....Terry really off the pace in terms of attacking threat this season. Sometimes, he's not even up to head in a free kick.

Thoughts on Shawcross? Stoke have some pretty solid fixtures coming up and I thought their D looked pretty solid today against City, buy maybe City were pretty poor which made them look good. Thinking of going from Terry-Shawcross. Opinions?

I'd go Pieters for 0.5m less. He was pretty good on the ball, and looks like a solid passer. He was much more noticeable than shawcross. He also has picked up 4 bonus points (2 in spite of losing 1-0 in gw1) Shawcross looked sloppy against city, to my eyes.

Young simply has to go, maybe JWP? Not many options around that price...

Should I just drop him to a 4.5/5.0 and do Terry > Ivan?

Different crowd about so I'll repost this...

    Reasons to WC this week...

    1. Switching two defenders will properly solidify my uber D for a while. Can bring in the risers for the mean time to make money in those spots.

    2. Rooney will drop .3 for sure. Can switch him for Costa, ride the rises and bring him back in at a lower price. Add Sturridge to this line of logic if he blanks as well.

    3. Pelly was obviously taking shite and doesn't trust Jovetic. Can bring Naismith in to ride the rises and most likely bring Ade in in before the GW.

    4. I may want to go 352. And I could make money on two midfield spots in the mean time as well.

Doesn't seem so silly to me.

It's tempting to WC every week, and it seems a bit early although those reasons seem sound.

Tempting, think I should wildcard with the team above? Loosing value on young constantly in particular

I don't think Rooney will drop 0.3 (I have him as well)

Considering only Luis is the only player to drop 0.3 cause he's play all of 8 mins in 3 games.

Plus united have QPR, Lei, WHU up next

I think he most definitely will. Casuals will be flogging him in droves. And I wouldn't be getting rid. Would switch him to dodge the drops and bring him back in right before the GW at the lowered price.

Really pissed I missed Naismith's. But I'm sure he'll rise two more should I activate which is all I'll need.

    Which would you do?

    (A) Mata to Sterling.
    (B) Mata+Jovetic to Sterling and Adebayor for -4.
    (C) Save FT.

Perfect time to play City for us in GW5.

They'd have traveled to Arsenal and Bayern in the same week, while we have 2 home games vs Swansea and Schalke.

with liverpool's good run of fixtures, and question marks whether aguero will start next week following champions league duties, think it's worth a four point hit to move to either sturridge or balotelli for a few weeks before bringing aguero back in?
