Fantasy managers have three matches to feast their eyes on today before the international break is upon us. Up first, Spurs welcome Liverpool to the Lane as Mauricio Pochettino’s side attempt to pick up a third straight win under the new man in charge.

A host of players from both sides are on the radar this afternoon, with Christian Eriksen, Erik Lamela, Nacer Chadli and Emmanuel Adebayor key to the hosts’ chances of avenging the 5-0 humiliation that led to Andre Villas-Boas’ departure last year. Liverpool are poised for a superb run of fixtures after this match and while Daniel Sturridge and Raheem Sterling are the obvious targets, Mario Balotelli’s display will be eagerly analysed.

Villa and Hull go head-to-head in the other 1.30pm kick-off, with Paul Lambert’s side seeking a third successive shut-out before the fixtures take a real turn for the worse.

In the final match of the Gameweek, Leicester entertain Arsenal at 4pm. Aaron Ramsey rolls up to the King Power Stadium looking to net for the third successive league match, whilst Alexis Sanchez is also finding his form – having scored the winner against Besiktas in midweek, the Chilean’s confidence is on the rise.

Paul Is certain he won't make the same mistakes next season. Follow them on Twitter

Would Lallana returning impact Sterling's returns as he could be shifted to the wing?

    A) Mata, Eriksen, Debuchy -> Fabregas, Sterling, Wilson for -4

    or

    B) Mata, Eriksen, Dzeko -> Fabregas, Sterling, Pelle for -4

    ????

Debuchy, Eriksen and Bojan to Ivanovic, Henderson and Naismith seem like decent transfers? Not all at once obviously.

Villa annoy me significantly. Zombie club going nowhere, just plodding along with no ambition.

Would rather they be replaced by a Championship club willing to show a bit of passion and give it a good shot.

Probably holding out for transfers, but any way of squeezing Sterling into this?

    Bego (Elliot)
    Terry Clyne Coloccini (PVA Bartley)
    Hazard Ramsey Siggy Tadic (Marney)
    Rooney Costa Adebayor

Might just hold for now, but I planned to bring Sterling in anyway at some point. Damn price changes, they have bitten me after all. 🙂

Because fallers cost more money than risers make I think a international wildcard now makes more money than in previous years

Reason is you save so much by avoiding fallers

    1. Gigging Order
      • 15 Years

Yes, if you have a lot of fallers, then that makes sense. Depends if you do or not though.

    7. Kerz

But in previous years you could make about 0.6 in profit over the two week break. Now that players are rising slower profit is harder to make.
Re.: fallers. Only sell if you're convinced they're not going to score well. No point getting them out to avoid a 0.1 drop.

Why does it matter what their price is in the short term...

I lost £.1mil on both Jovetić & Mata a cpl weeks ago.

They repaid my faith in points & in turn, I earned back whatever I originally *lost*.

A rising TV is a byproduct of scoring well, not the other way around.

    9. Debauchy
      • 13 Years
      11 years, 11 months ago

Yeah but fallers - one good gw and up they go again. Jovetic went down to 7.9 one week and then back to 8.2. the next . You may be right but I will continue to focus on players that should or are due to score , and hope the value takes care of itself
