After kicking off our series of Big Numbers articles with a look at the best performing Defenders over the first three Gameweeks, we now move further up the pitch. This time round we focus on midfielders, with a trio of summer signings all showing plenty of promise in their new surroundings.

    Tadic in a 3-5-2 or Welbeck 3-4-3? Tadic is supposed to be on penalties.

    People talking about Welbeck being protected. Why would he be? Only players new to the prem are (historically anyway) protected because of a transfer 😕

      His ownership has nearly tripled without a single rise. Must be new rules.

        It's clear that the thresholds have changed but nothing to suggest it's protection

          But to triple in ownership without a rise? That is utter madness. It's all guesswork anyway, the rules have changed, who knows to what degree...

    krul (gilks)
    terry - debuchy - (wisdon/van A/ bruce)
    siggy - eriksen - rambo - mata - barton
    costa - rooney - jove

    1 mil itb.
    1 FT.

    dont think its worth a WC just yet. prepared to stick with man u players while fixtures are still ok.

    considering:
    a) debuchy -> lovren/moreno
    b) mata -> sterling
    c) jove -> welbeck i'm afraid
    d) WC now

    any thoughts?

          FPL Towers changed the thresholds and took away some data that the price change sites needed to accurately predict rises/falls. I really doubt Ramsey will rise, barely getting any transfers at all.

    Huth vs Wilson - got this from a Stoke forum, the guys been very accurate picking the Stoke line-ups this season (admitedly only 3 games)

    Hard to know what Hughes think. Most Stoke fans would probably prefer to see Huth renew his partnership with Shawcross that has served us well in the past, but given our style of play is evolving and we're starting to play out more from the back, he may continue with the more 'ball=playing' Wilson. Like I said, he will reward and keep faith in people who perform well, and it's Wilson's place to lose now I think. This could make Huth a risky proposition for Fantasy teams.

      Yeah, I have had Wilson from the start so did my own bit of lurking on Stoke forums 😳

      They (the fans) seem to love Huth for historical reasons and begrudgingly admit Wilson is doing enough to keep him out of the team. They also seem to worry that Wilson tends to give up a major howler every game too. ( I can verify this one as an Ireland fan, lol)

      End of the day it's up to Hughes, not the fans.

      Nothing to suggest he will be dropped.

            All good picks...I have a funny feeling that Sissoko may get invited back to that No10 spot as well..He was good there a couple of years ago..

              Oh snap. I didn't even think of Sissoko!

              Hmmm. The plot thickens. Thanks Wakey.

            Couldn't stand him before, during, and after his brief stint with us!

      What you think of my WC team?

      Begovic
      Jones // Moreno // Ivanovic
      Ramsey // Fabergas // Siggy // Sterling
      Costa // Naismith // Aguero

      Bench: lowest price in all positions

      Pending Jones's injury, I may bring in Shawcross.

        Pretty good all round team, if you could squeeze Lamela in then it would be perfect

        I think you will find yourself in the same boat as most of the Bojan owners (myself included) - your team structure is not flexible enough for when you have to replace Naismith. It will require some major surgery, multiple transfers, player downgrades, etc. He just won't be a week-in-week out player in a 3-4-3.

          Cheers pepin.

          I would probably keep Naismith until I build up 2 free transfers and then downgrade jones to facilitate Naismith to welbeck.

          Or I might swap bego for krul and swap jones to Shawcross which would save me 0.5 to add to the 1.0 I would save from downgrading Shawcross and out that towards Naismith to welbeck...confusing
