Things that went wrong for me this GW...
1. Diego Costa. My hatred festers with every dodgy start and goal.
2. That City lineup. Gave my captain Aguero no chance for a big haul.
3. That Pool lineup. I mean WTF like. Bring Sterling in only to see him start on the bench.
4. Welbeck. Sod off with the chips, mate.
5. Siggy. I blame Diego Costa.
Still, 52 with Roon and AdM yet to go. Could be worse I guess. Very frustrating GW though.-
-
I like the Welbeck comment - made me chuckle. I'm on 44 with Falcao to go and I know some good players who did worse and they're all out. Chill.
-
Should mention that I WC'd last week as well I suppose.
-
As did I.
-
Cheers.
-
-
Your likely to end up scoring over 60. Don't get greedy muppet it's a great score.
-
I suppose so. Cheers, mate.
-
-
-
-
-
Have to sell Debuchy then I guess. Best def 8.7 or under?
-
-
😉
-
-
-
I need Alexis soon. Tricky player to get in, though. I may have to lose Sterling.
-
Don't drop Sterling
-
If it's a choice between the two, i'd much prefer Sanchez. Need to wait until i have 2 FT anyway.
-
Sanchez is very expensive
-
So is Sterling for what he offers. No set pieces, and not a brilliant finisher.
-
So why do you own him? 😀
-
One of them where i followed the masses and got swayed by the fixtures. Don;t get me wrong, he's a very promising player, but he's still inconsistent in terms of end product. 8.7 could prove to be a little steep, imo.
-
-
-
-
-
Where are Liverpool going to get goals? lambert is slow. Balotelli is useless. I am thinknig Sterling was a bad idea even with those fixtures. can't help feeling he needs sturridge's pace to keep up with him
-
Balotelli 15 goals, Sturridge 25. Everyone else will chip in, IMO
-
-
-
-
selling Yanga-Mbiwa and playing those 2 clowns looks like a great move
-
Is Costa doped?
-
Probably 😆
-
-
-
FFS
-
😡

Rate this potential wildcard outline out of 10!
Bego - 4.0
Kompany - Clyne - PVA - Naylor - 4.0
Ramsey - Fabregas - Sterling - Siggy - 4.5
Aguero - Costa - Welbeck-
Don't like Kompany and Welbeck picks.
7-
Why not Welbeck mate?
-
Not a fan
-
-
-
-
Is Wilson nailed on? Is Bardsley with the extra 0.5 anyway as attacking stats look surprisingly good
-
pelle scored two but that was diabolical defending from newcastle. god awful.
his performance didn't leave me itching to get him in-
-
Ya, hard to judge Saints on that performance. The defending was as bad as I'd ever seen.
-
-
Haven't seen Jovetic mentioned an awful lot recently. Are owners shipping?
-
Jovetic --> Welbeck after the CL.
-
Sounds like a plan
-
-
Shipped last week for Costa. Only thing I did right.
-
-
No doubt a question that's going to get asked a lot this week...
A) Welbeck
B) Pelle-
look below 😆
I need an answer tonight-
Timing 😆
-
now give me an answer
-
Can't split them myself. 🙁
-
🙁
-
-
-
-
-
Have Dzeko so one of those might get a game.
-
The question is which one TM 😉
-
I should just keep Dzeko. He will score well if I sell.
-
-
-
Just pondering the same question and also can throw Ade into the mix
-
I've had Ade the last 2 weeks, he'd be great next week but he's very frustrating to own.
-
True ala Lukaku assist today though, seems to be picking points up fairly consistently
-
-
-
I hope many jump on the Pelle wagon.
-
He is in form and has the fixtures to go with it
-
He peaked today.
-
-
I don't think Swansea will be quite as giving as Newcastle
-
-
I'm stuck on this too... honestly don't know. My random scribbles -
Welbeck's great value. Only decent striker available for Wenger, priced at 7.0... Decent debut (4 shots in the box). Doesn't really have fixtures on his side but from GW8 he has a great run. Also need to factor in CL
Pelle has had a lot of shots this season but hasn't been very composed. Two relatively easy finishes today to boost his confidence. Has good fixtures and might be on penalties for the Saints. Linking up well with Southampton's midfield and Mane is still to join, who'll add a lot of pace and fire to their set-up.
Could go either way honestly. -
A
-
I am thinking of cycling into to Pelle-ton
-
-
Pelle or Welbeck? I fancy Pelle over the next 3
-
Welbz
-
-
-
Pelle
-
Short term: Pelle
Long term: Welbeck
-
-
Ulloa a decent shout for a 3rd cheap striker? Not a fan of Naismith's fixtures and think it's too early to say whether Welbeck will up his scoring rate now he's at Arsenal.
-
Overall average week for me 44pts, captain choice my downfall. Rooney, De Gea and if Bruce doesn't start have Hutton coming in.
-
got no idea what to do for next week tbh 🙁
-
What do you think of this
Roo, Dzeko and Terry
to
Aguero, Welbz and Baines?-
Not bad
I really want Falcao and also want rid of JT, plus there is Hazard -
Need to see how LvG plays it tomorrow before deciding if Rooney and Mata are worth keeping. Just concerned that Dzeko is going to drop.
-
what about JT?
-
I know, it's a feckin killer.
-
-
-
me either. I will get either Ade/Eriksen/Chadli or Ramsey/Sanchez but no idea who to ship out
-
I'm thinking Sterling > Chadli. Leaves money to get Sanchez later.
-
-
Keane has been Villa's best signing this summer.
-
what makes you think its keane?
-
That beard would scare any player. Defensively they've been great thus far.
-
-
Inside sources.
-
-
-
Is alan Hutton nailed on for the foreseeable future?
-
Aye
-
Thanks
-
-
He'll get suspended shortly, so until then.
-
No Costa. Ouch.
-
Has to be one of the worst tacklers I've ever seen.
-
Haha thanks (:
-
-
Essential 😉
-
Best defence in the league (;
-
-
-
What to do with one FT:
A) Debuchy to Clyne/Lovren (but I have Caulker as other defender)
B) Mata (yes I still own him) to Sterling -
Been to or watched all of Saints games thus far and I was in the Clyne camp until today. The link up play between Bertrand and Tadic makes Bertrand so much more dangerous than Clyne at the moment. You don't see it on MOTD but when Clyne gets the ball he is isolated and hasn't got someone linking up with him.
The caveat to all of this is when Mané comes in the formation may change and alter this dynamic. Either way if you have Clyne keep, but if you have a choice now then go for Bertrand.-
Thanks. I have Clyne but may double up.
-
-
Berthrand has lower ownership which is great for potential price rises.
-
-
Stats fully support Bertrand. I might have a dabble
-
-
I have Tadic at the minute, how did he play?
I was expecting a better return when I heard they won 4-0 but I'm happy to keep him given their fixtures are relatively good.-
Quality and at the centre of everything.
-
-
Shhhh! 😉
-
One to remember for the potential wildcard that. Cheers.
-
-
Is it a good idea to go uber defence until Jan? CSs are son unpredictable so far
-
Potential WC team. Any thoughts?
Mannone / Myhill
Lovren / Clyne / Jagielka / Wilson / Duff
Fabregas / Sterling / Siggy / Chadli / JWP
Aguero / Costa / Pelle
Thanks!-
Are you wildcarding?
-
Thinking about it!
-
You just need to bin Johnson, waste of a wc o/wise (if link is correct). As a Lovren owner tho, I wouldn't be rushing to put him in your team 😉
-
-
-
Not concerned about no Utd?
-
-
Problem is everyone had costa as skipper and all got 65+ points in my league today
-
Tough ML
-
You're preaching to the choir man.
-
Same here.
-
-
How likely is Vlaar to get his place back for Villa when fit?
-
Certain.
-
Vlaar is nailed when fit
-
-
Adebayor looked lively today. Could be a captain option this week vs West Brom (H)
-
I think Welbeck edges it for me because he plays for Arsenal who should score more goals than SOT
-
Anyone else got rvp cap?
Was on wildcard and fancied a differential-
Huh. I'd completely forgotten about RVP...
-
That's my point. Under the radar could pay off fingers crossed
-
-
-
Was Mark on TalkSport tonight?
-
ahh feck i forgot about that
-
Can always check after on the replay.
-
-
-
Looking to ditch mutch, would you go for...
A. Zaha
B. schniederlin
C. Chadli
Think I'm leaning towards Chadli but undecided.
Thx!-
2 or 3. Chadli plays further forward I guess
-
Not Zaha. Foolish, foolish Zaha love. Terrible stuff.
-
Chadders. Great value option IMO.
-
-
Krul, (Foster)
Clyne, Wisdom, Debuchy, (Luis, Hutton)
Ramsey, Sterling, Hazard, Siggy, (Davis)
Rooney, Costa, Naismith
1FT, 1.2m ITB
WC or take a 4/8 point hit? -
So, Chambers *nailed on* until Debuchy returns then?
