First ever hulk, cheers.
-
-
complete lottery
-
Calculus not paying off? 😆
-
I know they got a cleanie against Liverpool but Guzan rising is a joke. He was rising before that aswell.
-
-
-
so if Wenger called it a 'bad sprain', Debuchy is probably out at least 4 weeks yeah? glad I never got around to selling Chambers..
-
Ditto with Eriksen hah. I have both
-
I'm still nursing a 'bad sprain' from nearly 6 weeks ago. And that's just for doing normal shite. He'll be out a while.
-
how does your medical team compare to the gunner's?
-
I'm top class. 😀
-
😆
-
-
-
Does Chambers have any threats to Debuchy's right back berth?
-
nope he is nailed now
-
-
-
Are the days of an uber defence returning?
Chelsea and Arsenal are shipping goals, the two Manchester clubs haven't looked convincing defensively, Liverpool don't look much better than last season and despite the attacking threat of Coleman and Baines, Everton have conceded 10 goals already.
On the other hand, Villa, Burnley, Swansea and Southampton already have 2 (or 3 in Villa's case) clean sheets...
Thoughts?-
My presence here is the answer. 😀
-
yes the uber def is back, even more important imo with the slow rises, we need as much investment as possible in our front 8. look at my team above I WC'ed for this gw and i got no premium defs 😉
-
last page*
-
Double Soton - I like it.
-
😎
payed off this gw!
-
-
-
Southampton and Swansea look great considering their fixtures! 🙂
-
Yep, defo having atleast one of each.
-
-
-
Time to move on chadli?
-
Bertrand or Clyne?
-
clyne is better but i'd save 0.2
-
He's not better. Bertrand is class.
-
yes he is, fpl wise obviously
-
Check the stats and keep in mind Clyne got a BS assist last GW.
-
Bertrands second assist in the PL ever...Clyne had 5 last season...
-
That's thinking in a vacuum. Bertrand's never had an extended run.
-
Clyne played 1862 mins last season...0 goals, 5 assists
Bertrand played 1449 mins last season, 0 and 0-
Surprising but Chelsea had no one to get on the end of things.
-
he wasn't at chelsea..you clearly have no idea.
lol-
Your mom wasn't at Chelsea.
Sorry, I'm drunk. -
LOL epic.
-
-
-
-
-
-
-
-
-
-
I don't think there will be much in it end of season. Both look good options.
-
-
My entire season has been ruined by the Costa injury rumour a few weeks ago.
More or less given up and list interest now. F___ing annoying. I was going really well too.-
Top 1k is possible.
-
I wanted top 1 😀
-
Rank now? Top 1 is still possible at this stage.
-
I havent even logged in to look. Dont want to see it.
Went from about 30k to 99k before this week. Only getting worse-
Is that all. Could still win FPL.
-
But I dont have diego costa
-
Well you can change that or hope he fails.
-
-
-
-
-
-
-
It's only week four. Plenty of time to catch up.
-
I was ranked 800 when I dropped Costa at the week 3 deadline. Now I'm 600k.
-
-
How essential is Fabs at this stage?
How much do ye think he will rise this week? He is owned by almost 43% atm.
Considering waiting until after the City game to bring him in. -
Evening all. How are those who didn't captain Costa feeling?
-
Alright I guess. Annoyed but if Rooney and AdM kick off tomorrow I'll forget all about it.
-
Hope they do it for you. (Or at least I would if it didn't have a negative affect on me)
-
Well I'd root for you if it meant I could root for me. 😀
-
-
-
Highly vexed
-
OI would feel the same. Fortunately I learnt to ignore his injury after last week.
-
Should have listened to bib theory and read through the costa injury but thats hindsight for you
-
-
-
Shit. Don't even have the bugger.
-
Ouch. I even got him as my only good player in my draft team
-
Waiting then? 😀
-
Nah. Wildcard active so may as well get him in.
-
😉
-
-
-
-
slightly annoyed but can't complain too much. 63 will all played, kun C
-
Pretty well after captaining Pelle 😀
-
But you had Costa. 😀
-
He was my captain all week though, shame really that that Mourinho presser changed my mind!
-
At least it didn't make you sell him on your WC. 😡
-
-
-
-
-
best midfield option? (except Fabregas, Siggy, Ramsey)
-
Sterling. .
-
-
46 points off top in my ML. Catchable?
-
Of course it is only week 4. You can catch that up with an excellent week or certainly in 2
-
in the long run, definetley
-
Depends on rival. They could copy you.
-
-
where do you guys get your heatmaps?
-
Weather channel 😉
-
🙄
-
I'll be sharing your weather very soon.
-
I'm waiting!
-
I mean on holiday.
-
-
-
-
😆
-
-
ESPN has one. it's free.
-
-
A. Di Maria
B. Sterling
C. Chadli
D. Other (already have fab, Ramsey, siggy, hendo 11 itb) -
I've got a working theory that fantasy foosball never brings pleasure or satisfaction, it's just about the degree of pissed-offness you feel on saturdays 🙂
Was between Cesc & Sterling for (c).. decided on Cesc but now i'm annoyed I didn't captain Costa. Never happy in this game-
it's all about where you put the bar. i have decided i will be happy with my captain pick as long as he delivers more than 3 points. i hardly ever pick the highest scoring player in my team (costa this week was possibly the first time)
-
-
Morning everyone...
I can see the uber defense is getting a lot of love... No surprises there as I did Terry to Baines last night 🙁-
😆 You got proper carried away.
-
Hey TFF. I was gonna get Baines but I think I'll wait til GW8...
-
Morning Innsie, I wanted to wait as well but there was a Terry sized whole in my team 🙁
-
-
Baines + 4 ubers is what i am contemplating if / when i wc
-
Good move Zan, I'd go for it
-
-
only Baines and Iva are worth the premium, good move.
-
Until that moment when the referee points to the spot and up steps Mirallas. 😀
-
And Ibra starts on the bench. 😀
-
Ibra lol
-
-
😯
STOP IT YOU! -
this cannot happen. i will refuse to accept it
-
Red pill or blue pill? 😆
-
-
-
Cheers FG!
-
-
That feels better now!
-
-
My plan... costing -8..
Balotelli Bojan Silva OUT
Costa Pellè Chadli IN
I might as well pull the trigger now but i wont until euro games are done... Also i took no hits this week.. Solid??-
I've got Silva as well but even though he's playing extremely well he just ain't getting the points.
I'm thinking of doing a -4
Silva, Jovetic out
ADM, Pelle in.
-
-
After few hours of soul searching, otherwise known as a bit of a hangover ive decided to not wc my team. It was a captaincy decision away from a decent score so no need to panic
-
Seoul searching?
-
Ugh
-
😆
-
-
-
Regardless of what the pig does tomorrow, I'm very tempted to switch him to Abebayo for GW5 and a -4 hit considering they have Brom at home. The only problem is I then want to sub Abebayo for Pelle in GW6. Utter stupidity or should I just stick to the pig for GW5 and get in Pelle for GW6?
-
Sort yourself.
-
I know man, but Abebayo is almost certainly getting a 10 pointer next week. He thrives on games like Brom at home.
-
There is no way to predict anything Ade does.
-
-
-
captaincy is most important, if you want to captain ade than you have to do the move
-
Yeah, this. I am going to captain him if I bring him in.
-
-
I swapped the pig to Adebayor last week... will be sweating the game tomorrow 😐
-
Oh dear
-
Too attached to the pig I see, but another game without a goal and he is being booted out regardless of what he can do. Tough decisions need to be made sometimes and like Mata to Fabregas, it is logical given how many scoring options united have now that Falcao and Adm are in.
-
Don't compare Mata to Rooney, FFS. I swear, FPL really skews shit.
-
You're being a little too frivolous and stubborn. Rooney doing well tomorrow will help, but I'd like to see what you do if he doesn't do well. A 7 2 2 return in 3 games is not good enough even if he is rooney.
-
He'll do well. You can quote me on that.
-
-
-
-
-
-
-
Wildcarding after MUN's game. Haven't watched Pelle in Saints games. Can anybody share some info on him? How did he go in the last three games? Worth the investment? Front three should be lethal Aguero - Costa - Pelle*.
-
He's a big huge lad, looks alright. Probably not brilliant technically but he should score goals. That Soton team looks like its worth having 1 or 2 from it.
-
issue is, pelle or welbeck??
-
Cheers lads.
-
-
So I have a whopping 6 point lead in my H2H with Chester still to play. My opponent has Rooney, Caulker & Mutch. What do you think. A narrow win to him I reckon
-
Rooney decides it.
-
I see a lot more eventualities which could lead to him winning. But a Chester clean sheet would make it a challenge
-
-
-
Let's go Rooney (C)...score a truckload before I flick you off.
-
Makes sense. 😯
-
-
Nice little price rise for ADM! Double figures tomorrow really will be christmas before christmas! 🙂
-
He's gonna do QPR in the bad place.
-
-
Would you wildcard on this?Sitting on 28 and not having Costa has cost me am i panicking
Begovic
Dummet-Ferdinand-Naylor
Sterling-Ramsay-Hazard-Sigurdson
Rooney-Aguero-Dzeko
Gilks-Moore-PvA-Marney-
Defence stinks sorry but nothing a few well taken hits cant solve!
-
I think I would be looking to lose Dzeko, Ferdinand and Dummett. Probably for Pelle, Duff & someone
-
Depends how United go. If Rooney looks crap then I think Rooney to Costa, Dzeko to Pelle. Defence is pretty poor but not hit worthy really. All in all, prob not worth a WC
-
-
Alan Hutton is glaring at me angrily from the bench
-
Him and Duff on mine grr
-
Duff keeps taunting me... I'd have laughed at anyone who pre-season said Duff, Moore and Hutton made a decent back three 🙂
-
-
I've benched him for all or his clean sheets 😆
-
Same here every damn one
-
😆
-
-
got lucky. i played Duff 🙂
-
Im just happy to have him in my squad when I need him. Pity this wasnt last year though, reckon his price would shoot up
-
-
Just watched the LPool highlights. They looked awful/ Villa looked good. Sterling on the bench? Brendan you muppet
-
Paper tiger that Brenton.
-
That is a good thing. In the future Brendan will think twice before doing this. If they had played well it may have been more of a problem
-
Agreed.
-
-
-
Jones: how many here dropping Jones or best to allow his price to fall to 5.4-5.3 so as to use FT TO get in any top-flight Forward for example Pelle, Welbeck, Aguero, etc....
keeping jones takes the risk of Defenders whom you would drop will keep on rising, such as Clyne did tonite to 52 -
Thoughts on this WC team.
Forster - Myhill
Clyne - Taylor - Van Aanholt - Wisdom - Moore
Fabregas - Sterling - Sigurdsson - Chadli - Marney
Aguero - Falcao - Costa
Bank: 0.2m-
looks tasty
-
Cheers. Feeling unease to go without Ramsey as well. Do you happen to know any Google doc links to a season ticker spreadsheet?
-
http://www.fantasyfootballscout.co.uk/2014/06/24/premier-league-201415-home-and-away-rotation/
this is a rotation article - sorry it was the best i could find...on the home page ticker you can see the next 6 gws, thats helpful-
Dammit, how could I miss that. Thanks AR!

-
-
-
Innsie, your opinion is highly regarded by myself.. Do you think its about time for me to WC?
http://fantasy.premierleague.com/entry/198572/history/-
No
-
You're not Innsie - But how come? dropped from 41k -> 450k so far... Unless Caulker braces and Rooney a hattrick, i'm going further down the ladder..
-
Was just saying the opposite of what I thought Innsie would.
-
-
Innsie? you've changed... 😉 😛
-
-
You know you just dissed everyone else by saying you don't respect their opinions
-
That wasn't intentional.. Or was it?
-
-
-
no update on triggers WC? Normally on around this time
-
41 with Roon(C) AdM & Evans yet to go
-
Evans in a wild card is odd
-
I advised him against it. Could well start on the bench tomorrow, despite all the injuries.
-
-
-
-
Manquilo nailed on??
-
To be sold come January, yes.
-
-
On the Newcastle highlights. My choice of Krul is looking unwise with Williamson in front of him
-
And Pardew on the touchline.
-
they are atrocious
-
I told everyone before the season started. I mean I banged a fecking gong. But I guess I didn't have the history for anyone to listen.
-
worth bearing in mind re Pelle. Yes he finished them but the defending was awful, they just gave him the 2nd one (for 2-0)
-
