    Bench one:
    NTaylor (SOT)
    Clyne (swa)
    Caulker (STO)
    Pieters (qpr) (assuming fit)

    Thanks!

Can't shake the feeling QPR will do something this weekend. Starting a recently healed player on the road is also a bit of a risk. Total hunch, no stats or form to back it up.

      Well this is helpful 🙂
I may just sit Clyne because I have Sigdursson playing... but feels strange to bench a player that has had returns (clean sheet or attacking points) in every game.

New crowd...not certain where to go next once the European matches are over..

Think I could save a transfer seeing as Falcao may still not start next week (looked a bit stiff still when warming up)..but I am very tempted by Ramsey > Di Maria even if his FPL contribution was a bit flukey. He's the real deal if you ask me (and many others ha) and his price may get out of control..

    ...................Begovic
    .........Ivan - Clyne - Moreno
    Cesc - Sterling - Ramsey - Siggy
    ....Naismith - Rooney - Costa

    Gilks; Marney, Chambers, Hutton

1 FT, WC available, 1.4m in the bank

he specifically made comments about not playing a left-footed player on the right-side of defense.

and I HIGHLY doubt that after yesterday tbh

                  12 years, 1 month ago

Only reason we didn't play it yesterday was because neither Smalling nor Shaw were fit.

Smalling is shit. LVG only played 3-5-2 with Netherlands and us due to lack of personnel, not out of preference.

                    it'll likely be:
                    Rafael - Evans/Jones - Rojo - Shaw

also for all we know, he doesn't think Shaw is ready to start, it wasn't really HIS purchase.

                    could be:
                    Rafael - Evans/Jones - Blackett - Rojo
(maintains that left-sided connection between Rojo and Di Maria)

what would u think to be more likely?

A....making a change and starting with 3 centre halfs again an option that has seen us fail to win a single competitive game

                    or

B....staying with 4 at the back and a similar midfield set up to sunday when we were totally dominant in every aspect of the game

                    A or B?

    Begovic
    Cahill, Clyne, PVA

        1. haroldhammond
          12 years, 1 month ago

exactly, and even against City he had that chance and was getting forward lots! Really want Di Maria, will probably get him GW8 during my planned wildcard, although that is the end of United's good fixtures

          1. Clay
            12 years, 1 month ago

Yea, it feels like now is the time to catch the fixtures for United too. They're clearly on the up and ADM will be a massive part of that.

    5. the cromulent one

Not crazy. I transferred Ramsey to Sterling last week, and even though it did not really work out, I'm okay with it. Arsenal's next three look tough.

      1. Clay
        12 years, 1 month ago

Plus, it's either that transfer or Dummet to Duff, which is so dull it makes me feel slightly nauseous!

I have both but keep in mind that Ramsey will punish you.

          1. Clay

                12 years, 1 month ago

If fixtures are what we're talking about then Fabregas has the tougher run given that he can pretty much "only assist".

      Terry Marney Dzeko out

  9. the cromulent one

Any compelling transfers? My plan at this point is to save.

    Krul
    Pieters NTaylor Caulker
    Sigdursson Silva Fabregas Sterling
    Adebayor Costa Rooney
    (Foster) (Marney Clyne Chester)
    1FT, 0.3 itb

I'll have to get rid of Chester eventually, but there is no reason to do it now.

Silva becoming a real differential... He looked very threatening throughout the Arsenal game. I'm worried about a bus-parking exercise from Mourinho, however.

Which one to trade to make room for Baines/Ivanovic?

A if you MUST, Cesc is essential

      1. rickardinho
        12 years, 1 month ago

And yet Ramsey has only 5 points less than him, having played tougher fixtures....

        1. haroldhammond
          12 years, 1 month ago

I understand, but his assist potential is ridiculous

          1. rickardinho
            12 years, 1 month ago

I agree. But so is Tadic's imo. I think Tadic has better chance of points at Swansea than Fabregas does at City, and then Tadic faces QPR whilst Fab plays against the world beating Villa side

    2. tm245
      12 years, 1 month ago

      Neither.

    3. SC not pearls before swine
      12 years, 1 month ago

I'd say b if you must. Ramsey's goal threat looks immense. I'd still rather have the heavy hitting midfielders than defenders

      1. rickardinho
        12 years, 1 month ago

The issue I have is that I need to bench one of my midfielders this week in order for Naismith to play against Palace. So I'd bench either Tadic or Fab, and it seems like a waste to bench that money when I could take a swing at Baines for the week. Tadic's upcoming fixtures are great too, and he has no risk for rotation from CL either.

    Any suggestions?
    Foster, Krul
    Baines, Cahill, PVA, Hutton, wisdom
    Mata, sterling, Ramsey, tadic, wanyama
    Costa, Rooney, Naismith
    1ft 0.2m

I'll probably trade up Naismith next week to welbeck or pelle so may save ft then work out how to fund that with 2ft and potentially a hit using Cahill and mata (would keep tadin for QPR)

Alternatively could just trade tadic >siggy / Chadli now and worry about Naismith next week

Ive considered moving Tadic too but his upcoming fixtures are just too good. Chadli doesn't really make sense as he would just bench Tadic for 2 of the next 3 when they are really even anyways. I have a big 5 in midfield though so its slightly different dynamics.

He could be 80 for all I care…has 2 CS's in last 2. Real good shot for 2 more. Sure there's been talk of playing time….hasn't happened yet. I just can't get down with the Arsenal D. If you really are thinking 4.5 then maybe PVA on the other side of the coin, he has attacking threat. Could go either way.

Dummet or Vlaar when he comes back, Id say the Aston Villa's defense is the real deal after shutting out Liverpool

all decent options...save the ft 😉

Most pleasing aspect of last gameweek was my final decision just before deadline. On wildcard, baines or ivanovic. Went for baines as felt it in the water. 11 point better off for it and a palace at home tie compared to city away up next. Nice.

    1. rickardinho
      12 years, 1 month ago

I felt just as good about not pulling the trigger on Rooney>Balotelli. Was gutted by the respective price changes that I thought would lose me 0.2 but I was 9 points better off for it 🙂

      1. The Hound
        12 years, 1 month ago

Nice move u wud have been gutted as Balo was naff and u would prob want rid right about now also. I took Rooney out and then bought him back in cheaper and (c). Was happy with this despite costa antics. Cost me 7 points In the end but I'll admit I was worried Saturday night.

I had Tadic captained which cost me 11 points, but it felt like the safe decision prior to the weekend with all the injury rumours. He could have hit double figures too with some more luck.

    Sorry Siggy not Silva
    DiMaria Fabregas Ramsey Sigurdson Sterling
    Costa Naismith Pelle
Unanimous to bench Naismith last night.
    Any different opinions?

Tadic to Lamela/Eriksen for a hit. yay or nay?

Nah, I feel a nice haul for tadic around the corner, so no hit.

no why would you do that

      1. Randy_Marsh

Expecting more return from my 7.5 spent. Lamela/Eriksen offer more of a goal threat but fixtures don't compare

    Pick two:

    Clyne: SWA (A)
    PvA: BUR (A)
    Naylor: SOU (H)

Leaning towards the first two right now. Also, am I crazy for considering captaining Baines this week?

    Cheers.

Play Clyne (swansea away) or Chambers (Villa away, assuming he plays)

    1. Venom Snake

Probably chambers but I'd ideally like to play clyne as well

      1. FionnMac

Also got Duff (home vs sunderland) and Lovren (away vs West Ham)

        Clyne still miss out?

I have been. I'm trying to separate myself in my league…it's tough when everyone has the same mids. I'm going to wait until he gets a good run though….but he's on the back burner for me now.

Did it last week…you aren't. Took allot for me to do so. Rambo was my sleeper last year until his thigh fell off. I think ADM is going to tear the FPL apart. His pace and touch are unreal.

      1. haroldhammond
        12 years, 1 month ago

thats why i did it, because he is just unreal.. But rambo was a season keeper at the beginning.. planning to WC GW8 and will try and sneak him back in after his tough fixtures i think.

He's pretty much fixture proof though, I had him and Fab…I think Fab has the edge as he's spoon-feeding Costa at the moment. I think ADM will spoon feed the whole of United. He figured in EVERY goal. He was burning people. It was only QPR though. So we'll see what happens when the tough fixtures roll in. I will also get Ramsey back in after the toughies pass Arsenal. I think you will not regret it!

    3. Venom Snake
      12 years, 1 month ago

It's not a bad trade but one that could haunt you. Ramsey can always pop up with a haul and has high ownership. ADM on the rise though and has a share or set peices so good prospect there

      1. haroldhammond
        12 years, 1 month ago

that's what im worried about.. ramsey's ability to just haul randomly

          1. The Hound
            12 years, 1 month ago

Sticking it on Rooney again I think. Costa'a ceiling can't be that high this time. I fancy between 6-9 points.

But this time......honestly can see a tight ass game 1-0 either way. Jose will be defence defence defence all week and city simply won't want to lose.

I don't disagree. I'm just living in the past points that got away department. Lol. I think Rooney would be a fine choice for the armband. ADM will hook him up.

I'm actually hoping it's one of those grand occasions that everyone (c) costa for 6pts and I sneak in with a Rooney (c) for a brace and 26pts.

I agree with that….and there will be assists up the yang for Cesc and Costa will get his brace, maybe more? He's Suarez of last year on steroids so far.

    GK: Krul, Gilks

MID: Ramsey, Fab, Sterling, Siggy, Marney

How likely are Ive and Fab to play in UCL group stages?
Ive started all games last season while others were rotated, likely to be same this season?

    1. The Hound

I'd say first choice 11 until well established in the group, then greater rotation further down the line.
