    Bench one:
    NTaylor (SOT)
    Clyne (swa)
    Caulker (STO)
    Pieters (qpr) (assuming fit)

    Thanks!

Can't shake the feeling QPR will do something this weekend. Starting a recently healed player on the road is also a bit of a risk. Total hunch, no stats or form to back it up.

      Well this is helpful 🙂
I may just sit Clyne because I have Sigdursson playing... but feels strange to bench a player that has had returns (clean sheet or attacking points) in every game.

New crowd...not certain where to go next once the European matches are over..

Think I could save a transfer seeing as Falcao may still not start next week (looked a bit stiff still when warming up)..but I am very tempted by Ramsey > Di Maria even if his FPL contribution was a bit flukey. He's the real deal if you ask me (and many others ha) and his price may get out of control..

    ...................Begovic
    .........Ivan - Clyne - Moreno
    Cesc - Sterling - Ramsey - Siggy
    ....Naismith - Rooney - Costa

    Gilks; Marney, Chambers, Hutton

1 FT, WC available, 1.4m in the bank

he's quality..afraid he won't start anymore once Shaw is fit as LVG won't play two left-footed CBs (Rojo and Blackett)

he specifically made comments about not playing a left-footed player on the right-side of defense.

and I HIGHLY doubt that after yesterday tbh

Only reason we didn't play it yesterday was because neither Smalling nor Shaw were fit.

Smalling is shit. LVG only played 3-5-2 with Netherlands and us due to lack of personnel, not out of preference.

                    it'll likely be:
                    Rafael - Evans/Jones - Rojo - Shaw

also for all we know, he doesn't think Shaw is ready to start, it wasn't really HIS purchase.

                    could be:
                    Rafael - Evans/Jones - Blackett - Rojo
(maintains that left-sided connection between Rojo and Di Maria)

what would u think to be more likely?

A....making a change and starting with 3 centre halfs again an option that has seen us fail to win a single competitive game

                    or

B....staying with 4 at the back and a similar midfield set up to sunday when we were totally dominant in every aspect of the game

                    A or B?

I agree. But so is Tadic's imo. I think Tadic has better chance of points at Swansea than Fabregas does at City, and then Tadic faces QPR whilst Fab plays against the world beating Villa side

      1. rickardinho
        • 11 Years

The issue I have is that I need to bench one of my midfielders this week in order for Naismith to play against Palace. So I'd bench either Tadic or Fab, and it seems like a waste to bench that money when I could take a swing at Baines for the week. Tadic's upcoming fixtures are great too, and he has no risk for rotation from CL either.

    Any suggestions?
    Foster, Krul
    Baines, Cahill, PVA, Hutton, wisdom
    Mata, sterling, Ramsey, tadic, wanyama
    Costa, Rooney, Naismith
    1ft 0.2m

I'll probably trade up Naismith next week to welbeck or pelle so may save ft then work out how to fund that with 2ft and potentially a hit using Cahill and mata (would keep tadin for QPR)

Alternatively could just trade tadic >siggy / Chadli now and worry about Naismith next week

Ive considered moving Tadic too but his upcoming fixtures are just too good. Chadli doesn't really make sense as he would just bench Tadic for 2 of the next 3 when they are really even anyways. I have a big 5 in midfield though so its slightly different dynamics.

Not a fan of Cahilll for the city game btw

He could be 80 for all I care…has 2 CS's in last 2. Real good shot for 2 more. Sure there's been talk of playing time….hasn't happened yet. I just can't get down with the Arsenal D. If you really are thinking 4.5 then maybe PVA on the other side of the coin, he has attacking threat. Could go either way.

Most pleasing aspect of last gameweek was my final decision just before deadline. On wildcard, baines or ivanovic. Went for baines as felt it in the water. 11 point better off for it and a palace at home tie compared to city away up next. Nice.

I felt just as good about not pulling the trigger on Rooney>Balotelli. Was gutted by the respective price changes that I thought would lose me 0.2 but I was 9 points better off for it 🙂

Nice move u wud have been gutted as Balo was naff and u would prob want rid right about now also. I took Rooney out and then bought him back in cheaper and (c). Was happy with this despite costa antics. Cost me 7 points In the end but I'll admit I was worried Saturday night.

thats why i did it, because he is just unreal.. But rambo was a season keeper at the beginning.. planning to WC GW8 and will try and sneak him back in after his tough fixtures i think.

He's pretty much fixture proof though, I had him and Fab…I think Fab has the edge as he's spoon-feeding Costa at the moment. I think ADM will spoon feed the whole of United. He figured in EVERY goal. He was burning people. It was only QPR though. So we'll see what happens when the tough fixtures roll in. I will also get Ramsey back in after the toughies pass Arsenal. I think you will not regret it!
