I'd downgrade Janmaat to Colo if you want a newc defender but not this week. 5.0 is too much investment in a newc defender. If Janmaat doesn't get a CS next week, I'd ship him to a Naylor.

A swansea or Soton defender. Maybe double up on Soton? Could work out well. But since you don't have a Swansea defender, Naylor is a good pick for 4.5 and save the 0.5 for later.
Current keepers are Begovic and Krul but losing patience
Any thoughts on a keeper to swap one of these with. Could do Begovic > Howard and downgrade Krul next week or keep Beg vs QPR and get Heaton or Hamer (how long is Kasper out for)?
I've got Begovic and I'm going to keep him for a few more weeks at least. I sold Krul, Newcastle's defence is ropey. I swapped him for Guzan.

Chadli looks a good buy (got him myself this week) and Ramsey has hard fixtures, but Ramsey can score in the big games and IMO is a season keeper.
Is WElbeck a serious FPL option now? If he is the sole striker at Arsenal surely there's some value to be had there at 7 mil?

There's only 1 hard upcoming fixture for Arsenal and it's Chelsea.
It's absurd to ignore him frankly, I'm trying to wait until next week as I don't want to ditch any of my strikers until then but his price going up is increasingly frustrating.

So the battle lines have been drawn with Herrera's 2 assists (only 1 given). Not sure which one they have not awarded - both were easy, uncontested assists.
FPL obviously happy not to subsequently award points when they have not corrected their mistake within the hour.....................when this happens to a Costa, Fabregas, Rooney etc, let's see how "strong" they are.
The credibility of the game has taken a knock, in my opinion - the whole concept of this game is entirely dependent on the accuracy of the scoring.

Once again the integrity of the game has been called into question. Forget about it, it will happen a fair few times this season, Lukaku springs immediately to mind from last season. Coming on here when you feel you've been hard done by only escalates the matter in your mind though with all the moaning and whining.

It's the free kick that he hasn't been given the assist for - the PA stats credits his assist for the Rooney goal, but no assist was credited for the free kick. But there should be one.

Unless it's neccessary don't take the 4 point hit. Lamela might just do something against WBA and Blackett is not a smart option at all. As much as you'd like to have Di Maria, you have to be rational and patient, they only played QPR after all and he's kind of in the same overhyped situation as Lamela wasn after their QPR game. Unless you believe Di Maria will score 4 points more than Lamela next week, I don't think so.

i just know that if i do it balo scores a brace, and if i dont rooney goes wild and balo gets subbed after 55 minutes for being lazy and uninterested.Do you really think that will happen? Rooney has to score one at least and Balo blank to justify that hit. Sterling will play the next day and a few of his uncomposed gash attempts at goal might fall into Balo's path 🙂

After picking a 1pt captain last week (not Sterling) I somehow still manage to get 65pts. I lost ground but a bad week could have been much much worse.
Next week draws so many more captain debates, giving Costa the armband could be essential even against City? My head says Rooney but Leicester look a tough one to crack giving recent results against strong opposition. That leaves players like Sterling and Siggy. I capt Siggy GW3 and tempted for next week too. Thoughts?I'm not captaining Costa. Just go with your gut. Whoever people say will probably be wrong anyway.
