-
Heh... my surname is Simpson 🙂
-

-
-
-
Anybody been to duff gardens?
The Seven Duffs
The Seven Duffs are characters at the Duff Gardens theme park. The "Duffs" are a reference to Walt Disney's Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.
The Seven Duffs are named Sleazy, Queasy, Surly, Edgy, Tipsy, Dizzy, and Remorseful.-
I've visited them all at various times 🙂
-
For the record, Surly is my personal favourite.
-
-
-
-
Stones or Jagielka for Dummet? I'm taking a hit but they should keep a CS and I really need another defender.

A) Ivanovic(mci)
B) Wilson(qpr)

Surely Taylor, little chance of a cleanie and not the goal threat of Ivan

Does anyone have a link to Ronh's team? Seems to have disappeared but is he still playing?
-
He got banned mate. I spoke to him on linkedin.
-
Am I allowed to ask what for? Or are the mods still paranoid here?
-
life ban for writing in capital letters
-
😆
-
-
Probably the latter
-
He just said he got banned a few times. Then he said something to fantasyfootball freak, which was the final straw. Really harsh.
Power trip.-
Why would he get banned in the first place anyway. Seemed totally harmless
-
-
from jonty:
RonH is not 'banned'. We spoke to him by email about a number of posts of his that were in breach of our terms and conditions, which we deleted swiftly. If he can abide by our terms and conditions then we have no problem with RonH posting. Unfortunately we have received no correspondence from him saying he will do that, so his account remains in moderation. As a responsible publisher this was the only course of action open to us to avoid further breaches.
As has been said on a mumber of occassions we do not like to discuss users under moderation. They are unable to respond for one, but also there are conversations that go on behind the scenes that are best kept between us and the particular person involved. Its not something we want to discuss further on the site and we do not moderate anyone's account lightly. It is only for serious breaches of our terms and conditions.-
Thanks, AB, helpful
-
Cheers AB... I know you don't make the rules but they do suck sometimes 🙁
-
-
-
What? Why?
-
Reported
-
To be precise he told fantasyfootballfreak he didnt like him. Post got deleted. Then someoned posted that they didnt like ronh and he enquirer why that post wasnt deleted also. Tehy then banned him

This is what he told me.

Current team is:
DDG (Myhill)
Lovren, Kaboul, Clyne, (Wisdom, Bruce)
Fab, Ramsey, Sterling, Siggy (El Ahmadi)
Rooney, Costa, Welbeck
Ive got 1.9m in the bank but dont really know how to spend it with my 1 FT. Any Suggestions welcome, current thoughts are:
1. El Ahmadi to Chadli for some selection headaches
2. Sterling to DI Maria
3. Save the transfer and see who to change Rooney to next week between Mario and Aguero-
Improve Bruce. I think Rooney is worth keeping for a bit.

Start Terry(city) or Clyne(swa) this week.. feel like giving terry some time off on the bench
-
Clyne
-
-
What is the better move here:
Terry- Baines for a punt this week(Even though he has Pool and United after, but then 5-6 weeks of easy fixtures)
Or Drop Debuchy now for Either Clyne or Betrand. If this, Clyne or Bertrand?-
i understand the baines love.. but defo option number 2
-
-
Honestly think, with ADM in the ManU team, the time is right to pick Mata. No idea where to fit him in though with Fab/Sterling/Siggy/Rambo occupying all the available real estate.
-
I dropped him for Sterling this week. I bought into the Mata won't fit into the team hype.
-
Why do you think LVG won't chop and change his team ?..Most are under the assumption he has a fixed idea of a fixed team in his minds eye. Januzaj might start next week for all we know...and god forbid Fellaini...Maybe it won't be RVP or Falcao...or.. Mata or Rooney..Maybe it'll be all of them as he mucks about with the team every week. Just putting it out there.
-
With LVG adamant on fitness etc., think Falcao is a couple of weeks away from starting. United can't afford to drop points chopping and changing, and so, the team against QPR will almost certainly start against Leicester. United hit a tricky run in 4 weeks and think he'll start Falcao not before GW8/9.
-
Anything is possible..You're probably right but we really don't know yet what he's all about with such a big bag of sweets..Hopefully he'll know his best Xl and stick with it..
-
-
-
-
What is wrong with totalfpl? And why are the not fixing it?
-
If you could pick any three defs right now (excluding ivanovic) who would you pick?
-
Baines Clyne Duff.. a mixture of the expensive and cheap. and just roll with that for the medium term..
-
Burnley have nice fixtures, not sure if I trust their defence though.
-
-
Baines Clyne Rojo
-
I'm thinking Baines, Bertrand, rafael. Leaves me with 0.6m, i.e. enough to do Rooney > Falcao next week if necessary.
-
Bertrand is fine...Rafael is pound for pound a better pick..but..If he plays with that silly three at the back lark he may get dropped for Valencia..stress maybe...Rojo plays either way imo, and he has a goal threat from set pieces..
-
I agree but it's just funds. Either way my defence is getting a shake up this week!
-
-
-
-
Clyne-Chambers-Bardsley
-
Chambers from gw8.
-
Don't be fooled by Bardsley stats either. He shoots from anywhere!
-
Fair enough, but he usually winds up with a goal or two, and I trust the Stoke defense. Chambers short term fixtures aren't the best it's true I suppose.
-
-
-
-
-
When are we getting Aguero in?
-
Maybe not for a while. I don't like fact he seems to be withdrawn early a lot. Lowers his potential points ceiling.
-
-
Enjoyed watching West Ham this evening. What's that all about?
-
D R I N K

Allardyce must be mellowing.
-
-
Was surprised at Chester not starting looks like I will have to get rid this week or is that knee jerk?
-
checked the hull forums and they are not surprised. dropped down the pecking order looks like. should start when they play 3 CBs but with the options bruce has i cant see that happening too often except for tough away games when you wont want to start Chester. so not a kneejerk
-
Fair play I just didn't even consider they would not have 3 at the back but at least I get Hutton come off the bench ha
I'm thinking duff in then?
-
-
Get rid
-
-
Clyne or bertrand, any reasons to get 1 over the other?
-
Not much in it.
-
Bertrand has slightly better stats but don't think much in it. Clyne seems better for some reason but I'd go Bertrand and bank the 0.1m.
-
-
Some options here for Chester owners.
Attacking defenders (sorted by crosses but you can change)
http://members.fantasyfootballscout.co.uk/my-stats-tables/view/6611/
The top one is of interest.-
As is no.2 but I don't really like doubling up. Cryptic.
-
No. 2 has an excellent target to aim at.
-
Yes
-
-
-
Cheers for this I'm torn between duff and Robertson
-
Cheers MJ! Looking like the Chester to Robertson move for me this week too. Already have Clyne
-
Hull fixtures are horrible!
-
-
Great stuff. If you sort by penalty area touches I was surprised to see two and four on that list!
-
-
Bonus added from tonight
-
*tumbleweed*
-
More of interest that ranks will be updated next, I guess...
-
-
-
I know Baines is the logical pick but if you look at fixtures who would you go with?
A) Baines (CRY, Liv, Man Utd, VILLA)
B) Lovren (west ham, EVE, WBA, qpr)-
Baines still. Bigger chance of getting scoring/assisting and he's likely to get a clean sheet as well.
-
Don't trust pools defence.
-
-
Herrera's 2nd assist to be added before this week closes??
Or are FPL happy to allow ridiculous errors?? What's next, award a hat trick to the wrong player and because it's gone past the "hour", they won't correct?
Credibility of the game at stake................-
Would have been a different story if it was Di Maria or Rooney. Still bad form.
-
-
Mata or Di Maria?
-
ADM
-
ADM...his signing so damned near 100% nailed..
-
Not much between them in practise I suspect..
-
-
di maria for peace of mind. should they both start i'd always back mata though
-
Yeah I think I agree. Think there could be value in Mata though. Thank god LvG has realised that he is his best creative player, despite the transfer rumours.
-
-
Di Maria 100%. I want him but dont know who to get rid of between from Fab Ramsey Sterling
-
Go for Mata, ADM will get you assists but Mata will get you goals.
-
-
Why are United players not included in any of the projections in the members area?
Just became a member and am enjoying playing with these stats. For the most part the numbers back up my "eye-test" opinion of players anyways, but its always nice to have it confirmed.-
Good question. Does anybody know?
-
-
Rohn link btw: http://fantasy.premierleague.com/entry/1276/history/
-
was gonna laugh at his points in defense until i realised i got the same score from mine 🙁
-
-
OR updated.
-
Lies.
-
Sorry no it hasnt it
-
Not even auto subs are done.
-
-
-
Have the following team:
Krul (Guzan)
Clyne, Vlaar, Chester (Dummett, Bruce)
Ramsey, Silva, Siggy, Fabregas, Sterling
Costa, Aguero (Naismith)
A. Silva, Chester, Bruce, Dummett > Chadli, Baines, Naylor, Duff (hit of 12)
B. Chester > Naylor on FT
C. Other alternative somewhere in between A and B, if what?-
B but maybe not naylor maybe duff or Robertson
-
-
Why didn't Chester play tonight?
-
Dawson
-
Only played 2 at the back
-
-
still can't get my head round man utd not being in europe. still remember their uefa cup campaign (with schmeichel scoring), but to suddenly have nothing is just weird
-
Has Trippier looked dangerous for Burnley?
-
"We experienced problems saving your comment. We apologise for the inconvience and suggest you try again soon."
🙄
This place hasn't really changed at all 🙁
I also suggest you do a spellcheck 🙂-
*inconvenience... btw.
-
-
Could this defense be problematic?
Moreno Clyne Bertrand Hutton Moore-
No more than most.
-
-
Keep Naismith for one more week?
-
Not if you can afford not to
-
Surely start him at home to Palace if that's what you mean. He should have scored this week against West Brom. 🙁
