I have 11 players at home next week and eight of them could be slaughters. If it doesn't happen next week... it never will.
-
I have 8 home players next week too 😀 The three away ones are Siggy, Naismith and Kun. I'm hoping for a bucketful of points!
-
-
naismith fixtures gw 8-23 are pretty amazing
only really hard fixtures are spurs away and city x 2-
I'd say Baines' your man
-
could well be but naismith outstanding value
-
This is where Europa buggers everything up !!!
-
-
-
So we can consider their defense as well.
-
Naismith is a season keeper if he continues to perform because Martinez won't be able to justify dropping him outright..even with Barkley back, he'll just make it work
-
Naismith is not a season keeper 😉
-
that's a solid argument you've made there 🙄
-
"He'll just make it work" is up there with Plato though
-
-
I thought Howard is the everton keeper? 😀
-
Amidst all the puns..I always chuckle at these types 🙂
-
-
-
-
-
I have a really strong front 7, but what to do with the back?...Chambers, Baines, Pieters, Kaboul, Moore & 0.4 in the bank, should I downgrade Kaboul to Wasilevski/Bartley to upgrade Pieters in the next GW or get Bertrand for him instead?
-
I meant Bertrand in for Kaboul.
-
Don't downgrade to get a player who won't play, even if they're going to sit on your bench. If I were you I'd go Kaboul -> Bertrand. Then in turn you can deal with Chambers and Pieters as necessary.
-
I'll follow your advice, thanks, although I've had enough dealing with headaches...I benched Chambers and started Pieters, just made me hate Stoke even more 🙂
-
-
-
Dummett gets his place back, but Newly are still awful. Where does this leave us?
-
Folks dumping Chester now?
-
Think it's time.
-
should be. not a reliable starter anymore. hull and their new crazy 2 centre back system
-
thinking Chester -> Bertrand for a -4
-
Not worth a hit?
-
Sometimes I take hits for defenders, or else my defence will never be sorted out. But only if ther's a very high chance that the defender brought in will get a CS to offset the hit. I'd say the odds for a Sot'on cleanie against QPR are high. Then there' also the budget issue - Chster will be dropping and Sot'on defenders will be incerasing in value.
-
You can take a Chester drop if you got him at 4.5.
-
thanks, good point. Didn't realise he's at 4.6. Think I'll hold off a week then.
-
That's what I'm doing.
-
-
-
-
-
-
Got rid last week.
-
Thinking to ship Ramsey for Fab or Naismith for Welbeck instead
-
-
-
Should I get Fabianski, Forster, Mannone or Heaton?
(have PVA and Clyne)-
Heaton IMO
-
Forster
-
Forster
-
-
Any news on price changes?
Be great if anyone has any good links to use instead of TotalFPL.-
nobody really knows how it works anymore. total fpl and anyone else don't know because the fpl site is witholding certain info + they've changed the rules. so it's sort of guess work
-
http://www.fiso.co.uk - crack the code - not sure whether they have worked out the levels yet
-
-
Anyone also going with Aguero (C) next week? 😀 \o/
-
Not sure, I have to chose from
Kun (hul)
Costa (AVL)
Rooney (WHM)-
U know u have to captain noisy neighbour for captain 😀
-
-
most likely.
There's no point in having a player that costs so much if you're not going to captain him-
I also have Costa, but Aguero is differential and best striker in league as well
-
-
Worried about game time? Roma mid week...
-
Naah 😀
-
And there is cup game,so Aguero will be rested IMO
-
-
-
so when shaw comes back into the man u squad will blackett loose his place?
-
likely as LVG said he doesn't want to play two left-footed CBs
-
-
Liverpool's PL fixtures:
EVE WBA qpr HUL new CHE cpl STO lei SUN mun ARS bur SWA LEI sun avl WHM
only really 3 stand out TOUGH fixtures in the next 18 matches..yes there's cup matches and CL matches interspersed in there but I think Sterling and Moreno are probably in my team for the better part of the season barring injury-
Liverpool defender - really ?
-
he spends half the game in the opponent's third and they'll sort it out and get their share of cleansheets..
-
-
Liverpool are conciding against everyone -.- They are like Alexis Texas
-
he spends half the game in the opponent's third and they'll sort it out and get their share of cleansheets..
-
No they won't
-
ok. no one is trying to convince you to get him.
-
-
1 in their last 11 PL games
-
-
-
Take it from a, albeit very happy atm, Caulker owner, getting defenders just for attacking threat is not a good idea.
-
I already have him, I'm not getting him. I'm saying I'm not dropping him, I think Liverpool will shore up
-
you'll be waiting a while. 10 CS last season, just 1 so far this season. I'm shipping Caulker as soon as Arsenal's and Villa's fixtures ease
-
I have caulker as well - He will be first to go though
-
-
Yeah agree . Im keeping till gw 7 at least . Then maybe out for Baines ? maybe
-
-
-
-
Now: My OR is 1558 and back to No.1 in Iran.
Tomorrow: Damn, Man U (3 players) and Chelsea (3 players) ruined it. Now on 20k !!! -
Is Fiso working again?
-
no
-
-
Did Sterling miss a sitter tonight? Start of the 2nd half. I missed first few mins and Niall Quinn was saying 'great chance for Sterling'
-
Will Chamakh be available for the match against Leicester?
-
PVA or Clyne? Already have Bertrand
-
UFPL
Sterling captain (8 points), stick or twist? Options are Aguero, Rooney, Hazard, Cesc.
Benching Costa 😯-
I'd probably stick with that pep. How are you doing in that?
-
Started the week on 666 😯
Up to 200's now, but likely to go down tomorrow.-
Yes, i finally found someone like me in benching costa
-
-
-
Rooney or stick. Problem with the Leicester game is that Leicester actually defend pretty well.
Chelsea being away, hard to say, it's more likely that the attacks won't have too many points-
I just know that Costa (c) will demolish me again if he goes off...
-
Yeah, I'm in the same pickle, Welbeck (C) and Jelavic and for the last striker place I have Naismith, Costa and Rooney, so no clue what to do.
Although if Costa has a match in which he will score a maximum of 1 goal it should be this one.
-
-
-
-
Broke into the top 1000, woop woop!
-
1558 here. I'll catch you tomorrow !!!
-
Me too 😀 Well done
-
-
Yes had Ozil as captain, with sterling, caulker, clyne and Welbeck.Yes.
-
Fortune favours the brave.
-
-
Ramsey > Di Maria tonight? Won't be able to afford it tomorrow.
-
Obviously I don't want to stop you from making this move but it's very risky considering adm hasn't played yet
-
Did you watch Arsenal today, Bemba? How was Ramsey?
-
ok, had 2 or 3 shots from distance. Looked to be slightly deeper than usual and not really influencing too much going forward in general
Not at his best.-
Cheers
-
-
-
-
Worst result is -4 if you really want him. An injury to ADM or Fab and it becomes a hit regardless.
-
I think it's just too early...sigh
-
-
-
Aguero worth it over Pelle for the next 3 fixtures if I'm not going to captain him?
-
No, sure aguero will score but pelles cheap
-
-
Looking for a new keeper. On paper Forster looks a good bet for a few weeks. Agree?
-
yes, or heatons cheaper
-
Yeah I would...Saints don't really have any hard fixtures until Nov/December except Spurs
-
-
Do you guys think Costa is crucial like Suarez last year? My current front 3 are Pelle, Adebayor and Naismith. I will need to get rid of either Hazard, Silva or Ramsey to make funds for Costa but im deciding whether he is really crucial. I will probably get Welbeck in for Adebayor if not
-
Two things are needed to make a player essential:
1. Scoring buckets of points
2. Having high ownership
Costa has both. Therefore, IMO, essential -
If he stays fit , definitely - just as much because of the service he gets from Chelsea's midifield as of his own qualities. You'll risk being left in the dust without him.
-
Who should I get rid of to make funds then? I have 2 FT's and I will need to shift Hazard, Ramsey or Silva + Adebayor
-
-
-
Anyone else with ozil captain and costa on the bench? #fortunefavoursthebrave
-
I doubt it, not very sensible
-
if it pays off tho...ozil choice paid off
-
How do you know that?
-
Because he scored and got an assist
-
-
-
-
-
Happy days! Hammers won - and I have risen! 😀
-
My Liverpool got utterly outplayed, but at least I captained Sterling.
-
Just to reassure you, Noble and Kouyate are the best tackling pair in the premiership ... by a huge margin. 🙂
-

happy as this hammer?

-
UFPL help.
Bench one: Rooney, Aguero, Costa 😯-
Aguero
-
Probably Costa.. Too tough to call! Toss a coin/draw straws?
I've got UFPL dilemmas as well 😛 -
Wait for Utd lineup and hope Rooney isn't starting. I'd probably sub him of the three anyway. Fancy Leicester to restrict Utd to a max of 1 goal.
-
-
Will most captain Costa, with Sporting away just three days later and Arsenal after that?
-
🙁
-
Don't even own him.
-
-
99% of people will be (c) Costa next gw..
Makes me wanna shoot for Aguero, Welbeck or even Sigurdsson..
Who's with me?
Miaow!
P.S. Sterling (c) 😎-
falcao for me if he starts tomorrow......
-
deff this,
-
-
I dare not risk it...
-
Costa might be rested.
