Up to 32nd overall in Ultimate. Facing a dilema and a hindsight kicking myself though.
Have Jelavic (8pts) and Wellbeck (c) 24 points in my team My thought is its worth leaving them as is and not gambling, therefore only able to sub in one of Ade, Costa or Augero. Which one though?
Hindsight I probably shouldnt have left 3 strikers on the bench, which as a result left me leaving 2 potentially high scoring mids (Fab and Chadli) in the non playing reserves 🙁-
Similar issue for me-I'm up to 41st and have to leave 2 of Rooney/Di Maria/Costa/Fab/Ade/Naismith on the bench.......
-
-
I really really hope Pelle is not rising tonight. I am tight, I need that 0,1m otherwise transfer won't be possible. Anyone has a clue will he rise tonght...?
-
Definitely maybe....
-
-
Why r u joking? Anyone to contribute? Please
-
If you have any concern whatsoever and you need the transfer then just do it now.
-
-
-
-
Is Eriksen to Tadic good for next week? No real way to bring in Pelle and have no saints attack?
-
Team is:
DDG / Myhill
Cahill / Merte / Clyne / Moreno / Vlaar
Fab / Siggy / Ramsey / Sterling / Henderson
Costa / Pelle / Naismith
0.4 ITB 1 FT
A. Merte to Moore. to free up funds for Naismith to welbeck and Cahill to baines or ivanovic
B. Any other areas I need to address to?
C. Save FT -
Guessing there is no point getting rid of your Liverpool defender now? Yes they are awful but surely there is a cleansheet somewhere in EVE, WBA, qpr, HUL.
-
They'll probably keep one vs everton and concede against the rest based on track record
-
Not if you have other transfers to make..won't be the worst idea freeing up cash for later if you have 2 FTs
-
Sakho must be the worst CB in the PL.
-
Some Liverpool Fans think he's their best. Personally think he's really crap
-
+42. The most idiotic CB that I have yet experienced in a major club.
-
Squillaci disagrees
-
OK. But now you are scraping the bottom of the proverbial barrel ... 😆
-
😉
-
-
-
-
bad day at the office, they went to spurs and kept a cleanie.... thats the Prem league for you
-
Not just today, every time I watch him play for pool he manages to screw things one way or another.
-
Sorry Nate, I wasnt defending Sakho dude, just saying Pool had a bad day at the office. People assume that West Ham away might/should be a cleanie etc. United in their prime had issues getting results there, it's what makes the Prem a great league.
-
Agree with that. Away from home is usually always tough no matter who it is. West ham being sound at the back only makes it harder
-
-
-
-
-
he plays better for France
-
-
I agree with this.
I have Moreno and while I'm not happy with him I won't make him a priority to sell with his attacking threat and those fixtures coming up.-
Yeah, he looked decent in World Cup. Thought he was awful last year in particular for 'pool...
-
Still, with 2 FT, it is tempting to get rid for someone like Chambers and have an extra 1m in the bank.
-
If you have no other problems at all I think it's a decent swap
-
-
-
-
Captain for GW6? Transfer?
-
Costa and Costa
-
-
Patience paid off for all us Caulker owners..............nothing beats a centre back 6 pointer.
-
Now, I'm not an expert ok these things... But surely a centre back 7 pointer does 😉
-
It will ...............when they invent something in the scoring system worth 7!!
-
-
He made it worth it today. Already transferred him out though for berty! Haha bye caulker
-
Berty?
-
Get ya now! That's the trannie that I want to do, but am 0.1 mill short 🙁
-
-
-
-
Krul to Forster for -4 ?
-
Nope
-
No
-
-
hmm, that balo assist wasn;t much of an assist. hope aguero looks good tomorrow, then the transfer is all but done
-
Do you have Pelle?
If no, still getting Aguero?
-
-
what do we think for next week?
Heaton
PVA Bertrand Azpili
Ramsay Sterling Fab Siggy Di Maria
Costa (c) Ade
bench - Guzman Naismith Chambers Hutton -
MOTD is always sweeter when your team wins dont you think 🙂
-
Wouldn't know. My team never wins. 🙁
-
😀
-
baggies fan like me then?
-
Yes! 😀
-
-
-
Tomorrow im a Baggie too, we can do this boys !
-
-
2 FT and 0.0 itb
Krul to Mannone the best transfer?
Current team:
Krul McCarthy
Moreno Rose Clyne Wilson Hutton
Fab Siggy Sterling ADM Boyd
Costa Aguero Welbeck -
I have Balotelli and Dzeko 🙁
-
Sooooo....that's good?
-
-
So what is everyone doing with Ramsey?
I currently don't have Fabregas...-
Keeping. Sigurdsson, on the other hand ...
-
true, didnt even think about him. what u doing with him though?
-
Chadli!
I'm holding for the next few fixtures but from wk9 spuds get really good fixtures -
Squinting. In the hope of more points.
-
-
-
No plans to sell, might turn him into Walcott in a few weeks.
-
Get Fab?
-
need 0.4m
-
The Theo idea above sounds good
-
-
-
Thinking of ditching to o from 5 mid to 3 upfront...for Wellbeck
-
Rambo to Walcott but doubt Walcott is back until November at the earliest (physioroom updated to no return date)
-
will probably wait for walcott too. funny how, if he scores next week say, nobody will want to sell. fickle baxstards the lot of us
-
-
Shipping to ADM. Ramsey too deep, will get a lot of second assists.
-
Siggy sholud have 2 assists today
-
To doosra
-
-
Pondering Silva. Will watch him closely tomorrow.
-
good point.
-
-
-
ARsenal to finish.... THIRD?!? you heard it here first
-
Personally didn't ever see them finishing anywhere else.
-
i know its early, but i think United will be their competition for 3rd with Liverpool slipping back to the battle for 5th
-
-
2nd over city
-
woah, controversial.
i think the depth in the City squad should see them to 2nd, at least.
Arsenal always seem a bit threadbare, apart from in midfield
-
-
-
Just pulled the trigger on Naismith to welbeck.
Naismith was a great short term trade, he facilitated augero at the time and made 300k profit for the team value, but next two fixtures are poor and welbeck is just phenomenal value.
For the first time in ages I feel my forward line is set in stone - all the 9s from the the top 3 teams
Augero costa welbeck-
Any particular reason you did that transfer now and not closer to the deadline?
-
Cannot afford a welbeck rise, cannot trust price rise sites
-
Hmmmm. Fair enough!
-
-
-
-
Ok so I have a moral Dilemma: I sell Lovren and Balotelli, I have 17.8m ITB, what defender and attacker do I buy? I have Ivanovic and Clyne in defense and Rooney and Pelle in attack..
-
Aguero and x
-
Mm.. Aguero and hope Costa don't go crazy the next gameweek?
-
Yeah dont really know who is better solition
Think its now time for Aguero to explode
But on the other hand they have tougher group in cl si may be rested
-
-
-
In what world is this a moral dilemma?
-
In the world where you are a liverpool-supporter and have to sell because you can't play with your heart anymore!
-
-
-
NOOO why did Chadli have to go up to £6.2.
For a minute I thought I could do Siggy + Ramsey ---> Chadli + Fabregas-
I am buying 'Azzzarrr, fwiw. Subject to tomorrow's game.
-
-
Best options for Man City coverage over the next 4 or 5 gameweeks asides from Aguero?
-
silva
-
-
39 points with Aguero (C), Costa, Shaw and Hazard to go... as long as Costa and Fab don't do anything i'll be delighted.
-
32 with Chadli, Rooney(C), Fabregas and Ivanovic here..
-
No Costa?!
-
-
34 with Di Maria (C), Aguero, Costa
-
-
Welbeck or Pelle?
-
Both. I will.
-
Happy with Rooney and Costa as the others for now
-
Welbeck.
-
Thanks for advice
-
-
-
-
That will be one of the most asked questions the coming week here I think!
Unfortunately I don't know the answer 🙂-
and you call yourself a toothsaying-sage? 😉
-
Ahem, yes.
Wait, no!
-
-
-
-
Heard the odd person saying they were benching Fabregas. Has anyone actually done such a move?
-
I did, bricking it now
Captained sterling though.... -
Must be odd people.....
-
Granville did!
-
Yeh I did, brain was telling me to bench Welbeck instead, so far it's going ok.
-
Yes I benched him. Ramsey let me down badly so now I must pray City give him no room to play.
-
Very bold. Hope he stays quiet for you.
-
-
-
If I have PVA in my defence and I have 4.5 for a goalie should i leave mannone and go for heaton or krul?
-
Stay clear of Krul...got him 2 weeks ago and will be shipping him this week
-
-
Keep or Sell Ramsey?
-
Liverflop are dire...
-
Pre-season predictions gone awry
What did you predict at the start of the season would happen that you were completely wrong about.
For me I thought West Ham would be in a mess and would concede loads and score few with Sam trying to change style, I couldn't have been more wrong.-
That Chelsea would be good defensively.
-
Haha I guess that should be joint first as not only did I not have any West Ham players I have two Chelsea defenders.
-
*this - and Ivan not nailed on
-
-
Villa and Soton would concede a lot more goals
-
I got very much too excited about MUN.
-
me too. ashley young lol
-
Oh yeh I nearly fell for that one
-
-
This actually. Invested too heavily in Utd. Then withdrew investment on wildcard just before they thumped QPR.
-
SoT falling apart from me. Tottally wrong
-
-
Can't think of much actually. Maybe yaya I thought he'd do much much better
-
Absolutely nothing so far really. Which does beg the question of why I'm doing so terrible in FF.
-
monk being the 1st to go
-
Borini would be gone by 2nd of September.
-
that United players were worthy of my team
that Bojan would at least hold his value for a few weeks
that I'd be able to make some profit in the transfer market when I WC'd -
That Aston Villa be in the bottom of table
-
-
Gents...
Starting my weekly dilemmas...
a) Colo to Bertrand
b) Colo to Naylor
c) Colo to Williams -
How long is giroud out for?
-
34 with DC(c), Fab & Falcao
Should I be worried or content? -
Doooooosrrrraaaaaa. ????
-
AAAAAYIIIIIAAAAAHOOOOOAAAAA!
Yep? 😀-
Do you fancy catching up for a glass of wine, an independecence whine and a good ol to e the next time I visit blighty. ;). I usually drop into London town every 6 months or so.
-

-

-

Would be nice to put a face to a name Doos. We were quite busy last weekend but next time we are due to head over I will give you plenty of notice and we will pop over to a pub of your choice. Normally we are around Islington, Crouch end etc but happy to jump on the tube .. My Missus will be with me no doubt as she likes a wee dram. 😉
