Dummet back in the starting line up. Will he hold his spot?
-
Do you fancy a piece of that 1 point action then?
-
This.
-
I've had him since GW 1. He has been rotting on my bench. Don't want to waste a transfer on him
-
If he is your 4th defender and part of a rotation he has to go. If he is a 5th defender and last bench member, then you may be okay keeping him.
-
Guess im keeping 😛
-
😀
-
-
-
-
-
i'de get rid, did Dummett > Duff this week and it worked out nicely
-
-
Who should I bench next GW?
A. Puncheon (LEI)
B. Siggy (sun)-
A
-
A. Even though he's at home imo.
-
-
Krul - Foster
Baines - Clyne - Wilson - Chester - Hutton
Rambo - Siggy - Cesc - Sterling - Marney
Costa - Rooney - Welbeck
1ft, 0.7 itb
A) Chester > Bertrand
B) Chester > Naylor
Cheers-
Would rather Krul > Forster.
-
Hmm. But Chester's lost his spot, with their formation change aye? Agreed that Krul and Newcastle are abysmal...
-
You have decent enough cover. You can play those first three defenders you listed next GW and do Chester out next week. That's what I'd do anyway 🙂
-
Cheers Walsh for weighing in. Something to consider for sure.
Newcastle might even be managerless come next GW. Team's in tatters...-
That's what we're here for, mate. Think that draw bought Pardew at least another week, but we'll see. Either way he's a scapegoat for ownership up there anyways. Will be the same 'ole until the big wigs up top sod off.
-
-
-
-
-
A
-
Doubling up is risky but Koeman has done a good job turning the Saints into one solid unit... Could be golden. And their fixtures are great until gw12.
-
-
Anyone else willing to solve my conundrum? 😀
-
-
Anybody preparing to bring in Baines?
-
If i could have him twice, i might actually consider it
-
GW8 potentially
-
me too. hoping that his value will not rise back to 7.0 before then
-
-
Already done it for this GW. I like having an attacking, free kick/penalty tacking OOP defender who also picks up the odd 4 point clean sheet bonus! 😉
-
-
Enjoying my 4 figure gameweek rank!
But it'll almost certainly go down tomorrow.-
ha same! no costa or rooney makes it a guarantee for me 😆
-
😯
-
AR!!!! Your Sterling came off 🙂 Nice call - I was not expecting him to hit a double digit haul at all today. Looks like we both made mistakes not following FG last night tho on Welbz..
-
cheers 🙂
yeah he tempted me to put it on welbz but I wanted to stick to my gut and captain sterling, and it was only 2 points less than dat guy so im alright with him...I think we should be happy that we just own him! 🙂-
Very true 🙂 I wussed out on Mirallas and stuck it back on Kun in the end. Hope that was wise...but really just have no clue.
-
-
Own both as well, and had the armband floating between them (and Balo) all week. Glad i chose Welbeck!
-
-
I've got Aguero, Fabregas and Baines though, so there's a chance it won't be too horrific.
-
-
-
Kinda happy I got rid of Hutton on the WC. Good thing he rose to 4.2 yesterday so I could sell him for a profit. 🙂
-
They were playing their 4th choice CB to be fair. Were going to struggle today with that pace up front for Arsenal. I still think Hutton is tops along with Duff in that sub 4.5 bracket until January WC anyways.
-
Terrible fixtures and Moore fits in to my rotation better. No regrets 😀
-
Right then 🙂
-
-
-
Of all the people to sell Caulker this week 😆
Sorry-
I just had to laugh when he scored 😆
No point beating myself up about it, there was no way I was keeping him on the WC. It really didn't surprise me when he scored though, sums up my last week 😆
-
-
wouldn't be the worst idea in the world to keep him imo...they just got blown away by us in that 3 minute spell - when big ron is back they will be better 🙂
-
Too late 😉
-
oh wait you sold him, didn't read it properly - well its a good thing you got rid off him, villa were shite today, doesn't bode well 😉 😀
-
😀
-
-
-
-
-
Fiddling with a WC team.
How does this look?
Forster (Hamer)
Clyne / Williams / PvA / Hutton / Duff
Di Maria / Fabregas / Sterling / Sigurdsson / Marney
Aguero / Costa / Welbeck-
Very good, no holes. I'd change Marney to Boyd but its not a big deal.
-
-
This man got me 3 clean sheets today https://vine.co/v/O7BbmYiTHeW
Tremendous effort from the headline act of the differentials article.-
Hahahh that is a great gif. Could hardly believe what was happening when they showed the replay of that when I was watching this morning. Bony went properly insane today!
-
I think if Alderwhatshisname didn't get injured they wouldn't have kept a CS today. Bony wouldn't have tried to batter him like he did with little Yoshida.
-
Cause Yoshida is asian with less tattoos thus less intimidating? Racist...reported... 🙂
-
-
-
😀
-
😀
-
-
Alderweireld injury is annoying. Would really like to hold him for QPR. But it's tempting me to either bring in Clyne which seems daft or go ahead and bring in Baines.
-
It's not daft if Toby is confirmed out. Hold steady and see what news is out come Friday, either way, a decent problem to have if that's your focus this week 🙂
-
Yeah. Would be annoying for Clyne or Baines to rise between now and then though. Already doubled up on Saints D, mind. 😛
-
Well not doubled if one is hurt 😀 If Baines gets a return tomorrow I expect him to rise. Clyne could rise again jeez I suppose yeah....
-
True. 😀
With my other options in defense it's not likely to hurt me for next week. In fact I could probably get by even if a midfield or forward option gets injured next week with the matchups I have at the back.
May be early transfer time this week.-
Could do. Just mind the cup games this week.
-
-
-
-
-
-
Is there someone on the bench that i should be playing next week?
Also, I'd like to get Pelle in for Naismith but not sure if getting rid of Ivanovic is worth it 🙁
Begovic
Ivanovic, Clyne, Shawcross
Fabregas, Sterling, Di Maria, Siggy
Rooney, Costa, Naismith
Bench: McCarthy, Moreno, Moore, Boyd
Appreciate any thoughts 🙂 -
Im really struggling on what midfielder to pick for 6.8 or less. I already have Sigurdsson. I'm really considering Henderson atm. Any help appreciated! Cheers 🙂
-
Downing!!!!!!!
-
Good man.
-
he is playing really well!
btw how come demel keeps getting subbed off for jenko? why not just start him? 🙂-
He really has. Jenko should start next week
-
-
-
-
See how Chadli does tomorrow.
-
McGeady, Schneiderlin
-
Zaha. Always Zaha.
-
-
Thinking 3 transfers this GW for -4
or
just one transfer
Krul / McCarthy
Ivanovic / Clyne / Moreno / Taylor / Moore
Ramsey / Fabregas / Sterling / Sigurdsson / Boyd
Costa / Aguero / Naismith
Naismith -> Ulloa
and/or
Ramsey -> Di Maria (How did Ramsey do against AVL, did he have an impact)
Moreno -> Wilson (To fund the Di Maria transfer)
Thoughts guys 🙂-
Would prefer Chambers over Wilson. Not sure I see the purpose of selling Naismith before the derby where there are usually goals, but Ulloa has looked bright so can't fault you for thinking of him. Can't see it being worthwhile to take a hit though overall.
-
so should I do the Di Maria and Chambers transfers
-
I like those transfers, though am not terribly convinced on di Maria yet for this game we play.
-
-
-
Naismith ➡ Ulloa looks like a solid move! I wouldn't ship Ramsey just yet, the NLD is usually a high scoring affair and one in which big players come to life.
-
differing opinions, these decisons are getting harder
-
-
Bojan , Hendo , Moreno , Krull
>
Pelle, 4.5 , Duff , Forster ?
-8-
bojan? 😯
doesn't sound like the worst move tbh - although just wait for the gw to finish 🙂-
Yes I still have that tawt, Doorsa I think it was started the bandwagon for him pre-season
-
Bojan ♡
-
-
-
Who should I bring in for Chester?
A. Naylor
B. PVA
C. Chambers
Im leaning towards A, Arsenal still look a shambles at the back. Thoughts?-
A
-
I think Chambers is the % call. Arsenal will get more cleanies than Swansea & Sunderland from now on in - fact.
-
But remember, Chambers will not play the whole season. Im not Convinced that Arsenal will get more Clean Sheets then Swansea in the next 7-8 Games by the time Debuchy is back.
-
For one reason or another, I think Chambers will play in most of Arsenal's games from now on. An absolute BARGAIN at 4.5m imo.
-
Gibbs-Mert-Kosc-Debuchy
Where will Chambers fit in?
-
-
-
-
-
Baines is arguably VERY competitively bargain at 6.9m. Wasn't he a much higher price a year or two back with commensurate retutns?
-
I think he was 7.5 last year to start. Not positive though.
-
Just checked...he ended up 7.6, 7.7, 7.8 & 8.1 (not respectively) over the last 4 seasons.
Bought.
-
-
From GW8 until after Christmas he has a marvelous run of fixtures.
-
Must have at GW 8 imo
-
-
Anyone got to decide between Bertrand and Clyne for their transfers? I'm going with Bertrand, he had better stats than Clyne again despite being outscored.
-
There's something about Clyne though over Bertrand to me when watching. Bertrand fluffs a lot of his crosses and just sends them harmlessly long past the back post while Clyne seems to always whip them in with pace and threat. I also feel like Clyne has more of a goal threat as he has made several inside runs through the box and has nicked a goal to his name so far while I don't think I have ever seen Bertrand do something similar.
-
*a dubious goal
-
*6 points
-
😡
-
-
-
Good post, thank you. To be honest I haven't watched Soton's last games, but the fact that Bertrand had better stats than Clyne almost every GW edged it for me.
-
Cheers then, Bob. Hope it works out 😀 I like them both.
-
-
-
I've got both
-
With the CS and attacking threat they both provide, there's not much better value.
-
Cool story brah.
-
-
-
Best defender for 4.5(to replace Blackett)?
-
Chambers
-
Got him as well,
Mannone
Chambers Blackett caulker
Siggy tadic sterling Ramsey
Rooney Costa aguero-
Duff
-
-
-
-
2FT
Janmaat --> Duff & 1.4m ITB
then GW8
Moreno --> Baines
thoughts? or do it now in case rises?-
sounds like a plan - you can always raise the money needed to get baines because gw8 is still a while away 🙂
-
how are you going this week?
-
50 pts so far - sterling(c) and welbz to thank for that 🙂
-
-
-
Makes no sense to get Baines in right now ahead of two non-clean sheet fixtures.
-
Liverpool is so juicy for attacking returns though.
-
Fair. If you are looking to get him for the long haul then I suppose nothing wrong with it despite the two poor fixtures. The way Everton have looked going forward every fixture is ripe for the attacking returns I guess 🙂
-
-
-
-
Team for next week:
Lloris
Naylor, PVA, Duff
Sigurdsson, Ramsey, Mata, Sterling
Pellè, Rooney (v), Costa (c)
Murphy; Puncheon, Lovren, Coloccini
£0.0m ITB
What should I do?
A. Save FT
B. Colo -> Moore
C. Colo -> Moore & Ramsey -> Fabregas (-4)
D. Different transfer(s)-
Definitely A
Can always do Colo out next week without harm since he is comfortably rooted in your bench if you still feel so inclined when you have two frees banked.-
Yeah, seems sensible, I've taken hits for the past two GWs and they've worked out nicely, no point in taking a hit unnecessarily though.
-
Well said.
-
-
-
-
I see a Forster-Clyne-Bertrand SOUTHAMPTON defense triple cap coming soon.. All or nothing.. In it FOR THE WINNNNNNNNNNNNN!!!!!
-
I was just thinking about replacing moreno or shawX for betrand (already have clyne) xD
-
Love a triple up in defense. Only problem is you won't get all of Pelle's points then 🙂
-
Dat guy 😀
-
how do you feel about selling Chicharito and Dat Guy? 😉
-
Content with Falcao. 😀
Was happy to see the back of Chica TBH. He was poor for a long time and doesn't have the all around game for the top level. Welbeck has always been wasteful in front of goal.
If you could combine the two of them you'd have a top class striker. 😀
-
-
-
-
-
So, Caulker. Delivered in 2/3 fixtures you'd have wanted him to deliver in from the start of the season. Yet I'm now going to look to sell him for a loss. Sometimes I don't understand Fpl.
-
Right, I'm off to bed.
Furious that Assaidi hasn't risen yet. 1,600 % for ages now. This new pricing system has screwed us "elites".
Imagine taking the skill out of the game by clouding the algorithms in a sheath of secrecy, smokes and daggers. The swines.
I'm really, really, really glad I used my WC to change a perfectly good team to another perfectly good team during that international break.
An extra 1 million is very important to us "elites" come GW29.
Good night all 🙂-
Hahhahaha. Lovely pre-bed preamble RCA.
-
-
Would be difficult to sell Siggi but if he blanks until gameweek 8 may well have to change to Mirallas
Swansea will have stiffening fixtures, while Evertons are superb-
Will. Not. Sell. Ever.
-
Sometimes have to bite the bullet.
Many were saying the same about Ramsey a few weeks ago, Those brave enough to take him out for ADM have been wel rewarded. . Now they all selling him-
I sold Ramsey same week you did. Selling Siggy has the potential to be a massive waste of money whilst missing out on points. He's FPL gold. If anyone deserves patience it's him.
-
he does deserve patience, thats why im giving him until gameweek 8
-
You'll be rewarded.
-
-
-
-
-
If he has 3 blanks from now on that would mark 5 in a row, and that would be HIGHLY improbable. He could have easily of had two assists before Bony got sent off he had two great passes sending teammates in for scoring chances. Not panicking now. Unless this is just your way of winding up owners who have had him for two blanks in a row to do something jerky.
-
I did say gameweek 8 IF he blanks until then.
-
You did 🙂
-
-
-
-
My Siggy--->Mirallas transfer....should've done it...PLEASE BLANK MIRALLAS.
-
*cue mirallas double digit haul* 😉 😛
you actually did the sensible thing, and ironically it may not work out 😀-
🙁 People on here are too sensible! 😆
Rambo--->ADM though 😉
-
-
Come on bru. Some of your bench-mates own Kevin....
-
-
What's the link to check the price changes?
-
http://www.fiso.co.uk/crackthecode.php
although its fairly inaccurate
-
-
Who do you have left to play, incl C?
Baines Terry
Rooney Costa Adebayor C
here-
Roo(C) Aguero Naismith Chadli DDG Di Maria
-
The whole gameweek is still in front of you.
-
-
Ivanovic Fabregas Aguero Naismith
-
Kun(C) Roon AdM Fab & Blackett
-
A bunch of guys.
-
Sounds promising.
-
Indeed.
-
Rooney (C) ADM Costa Fabregas Evans
Looks good on paper,
-
-
-
-
Rooney Costa Aguero and Blackett
-
-
Anyone bringing in Mane this week?
-
lol
-
Too busy owning Tadic do his Modric impression.
-
Yeah, pissing me off a bit that he hasn't returned that much. This Mane fella looks exciting with his goal scoring record. Even if it is in the Austrian league.
-
Let him play for a minute before thinking of transferring him in though, no?
-
Sure, sure
-
-
-
-
-
Who would you get rid of first Colo or Chester and for who? Leaning towards Naylor. Best move now before price rise?
-
Chester, at least Colo is playing. I'd rather have Chambers than Naylor.
-
Yeah agree with Chester. Rival has Chambers and Arsenal have Spurs then Chelsea next, so will steer clear. Any other other good 4.5 options out there?
-
I like Shackell.
-
-
-
Chester, Naylor. Still don't know what all the Chambers love is all about.
-
-
I know many have brought in Duff and some with Heaton this past week but Burnley have quietly kept three clean sheets in a row. They look to be this year's Palace, should be a fairly steady and consistent source of cheap clean sheets this year.
-
Duffinho anyone? 😉
-
With cost no issue, which Burnley would you bring in?
-
Trippier certainly.
-
-
-
Am looking at both. Fixtures are decent as well.
-
-
Is it European or League Cup action midweek?
-
League Cup only I think.
-
league cup only
-
Cheers guys.
-
