After a subdued Saturday programme, Sunday explodes on us with veritable feast of football featuring five of last season’s top seven sides. While Chelsea’s visit to the Etihad at tea-time is undoubtedly the headline act, we’ve plenty to keep us engaged until the 4pm kick-off.

The day begins with a pair of fixtures, with Leicester looking to continue their impressive start to their campaign against Louis van Gaal’s United redux, whilst at the Lane, Spurs will be seeking to dish out further punishment to a West Brom side that’s faltered out of the blocks so far.

That’s rounded off by the main event in Manchester, with Everton’s Goodison clash with Crystal Palace running alongside it. Fantasy managers look set for a eventful afternoon, then, with the day’s events potential turning Gameweek fortunes on their head.

As always, you can look to our Twitter feed for all the teamsheet news and key injury updates as the night draws in and Gameweek 5 draws to a close.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

What are the golden rules of FPL e.g. by and large play homes players over away players, play 3-4-3, etc etc

pick and play whoever is in best form regardless of fixture, play whatever formation allows you to get as many of these players in as possible

    Got 2 FTs

    A) Jones and Ade out for Clyne and Welbeck
    or
    B) Jones and Ramsey out for Clyne and Di Maria

    Thanks

Considering trading Naismith if he doesn't score today, if only to take advantage of price rises from some others like Ulloa, Welbeck, Pelle, or Vardy

38 pts. thank god for sterling captain. Clyne would have made it 44 but that is it. Now I will cheer for my Chelsea boys. Looks like everyone are having a bad week. We all knew it is gonna be low scoring week that is why I saved the transfer.

Next one on the other hand it is gonna be massive !!!

A couple of changes and you're sweet. No need to panic.
My priorities would be DDG & Naismith but you could probs lose DDG & Eriksen & get a cheap keeper & DiMaria, and bench Naismith for a week or 2?

To be fair, LVG has solved one of United's problems. They can now score goals from open play.

Surely he'll sort out the defence by paying another 100M in Jan and ensure survival.
