After a subdued Saturday programme, Sunday explodes on us with veritable feast of football featuring five of last season’s top seven sides. While Chelsea’s visit to the Etihad at tea-time is undoubtedly the headline act, we’ve plenty to keep us engaged until the 4pm kick-off.

The day begins with a pair of fixtures, with Leicester looking to continue their impressive start to their campaign against Louis van Gaal’s United redux, whilst at the Lane, Spurs will be seeking to dish out further punishment to a West Brom side that’s faltered out of the blocks so far.

That’s rounded off by the main event in Manchester, with Everton’s Goodison clash with Crystal Palace running alongside it. Fantasy managers look set for a eventful afternoon, then, with the day’s events potential turning Gameweek fortunes on their head.

As always, you can look to our Twitter feed for all the teamsheet news and key injury updates as the night draws in and Gameweek 5 draws to a close.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

Ok so Naismith isn't playing so hopefully Clyne 8 points off bench. Of course we all know what's going to happen!

For all the ABUs saying it was only one decision that turned the match...

    1. The ball was out over the byline before Ulloa's goal.
    2. De Laet should've been off twice.
    3. Rafael was fouled before the peno.
    4. Was never a foul for the penalty, especially considering the no call prior.
    5. Blackett was fouled before the red card.

Shocking stuff. Clattenburg should never ref another match. But there's no accountability. Missed my guess with my profession I suppose. If I feck up, never mind repeatedly, shit goes haywire.

      No bias here then....

I would suggest Man U have had their more than their fare share of refereeing decisions go their way over the years...especially under SAF.

      So maybe this is Karma!!!

Agree re Clattenburg - one of the worst - Arsenal have suffered a number of times with him as ref. over the years.

Swings and roundabouts though - and regardless MU defending was pathetic.

If Everton lose or draw I win £500 in a Last Man Standing competition in work. Pick a team to win, only use the team once. Everyone went Spurs and Everton this week after going United last week and I've gone Arsenal.

    Come on Palace!

Also, 49 with Fab and Costa to go. Good? Average?

Evans? Can't defend. Afraid of himself.
    Blackett? Can't defend. Too young.
Rafael? Can't defend. No footballing brain.
Rojo? Can't defend. Had a good World Cup with a good team.
Herrera as CDM? Thinks he's playing the #10 role for United.
150M spent and not a single defender upgrade?

This result was always on the cards.

I only have an issue when people try to blame the ref.

MUN are the one who didn't score enough goals.

You are correct, they should have stepped up when required to do so and didn't.

You're going out of your way to sound sensible, when the reality is we was robbed.

Anything but United. Although considering how many teams there are with United at the end, it's a a somewhat arrogant assertion.

Actually, you're the one who got it wrong so you should apologise to the Community.

To repeat something that is grammatically incorrect would be an affront to our Nation, the Queen, William Shakespeare, Tosh from the Bill. I won't do it and you shouldn't either...

If you don't see why people are amused by a once all conquering teams fall from grace then I think you don't see it.

It doesn't matter that it's Manchester United, it could well be be Manchester City in another decade.

Happened to Liverpool and we don't have pages and pages of lol@Pool after matches they lose (not to this extent certainly).

What happened to Man United happened to Liverpool in the 1990s and I'm sure there were lots of people at that time regaling in their new found problems, no doubt including the fans of a resurgent Manchester United.
