We turn to the Scout Picks and Differentials this morning in another attempt to get the better of Paddy.

Palace’s home clash with Leicester brings Jason Puncheon onto our radar. The Eagles have scored three times in two of their three league matches under Neil Warnock and kept a clean sheet in their last match at Selhurst Park – with Paddy willing to offer 9/1 on Puncheon to score and Palace to keep out their opponents, we’re willing to fork out £3.

Our bet of the week goes on Southampton’s clash with QPR at St Mary’s, though. Graziano Pelle is the focus of our attention as Paddy offer 15/2 for the Italian to score two or more and the Saints to register a clean sheet – a scenario that occurred in their previous home match. With the R’s yet to net on their travels, we’re all the more convinced and shell out £4 for the Saturday afternoon encounter.

Our final bet is kept for Monday evening, as Stoke welcome Newcastle to the Britannia. Victor Moses has nailed down a role on the Potters’ left and has offered plenty of attacking threat since making his Gameweek 3 debut – Paddy are offering 15/2 on Moses to score one or more and Mark Hughes’ side to keep a clean sheet against the Tyneside team and we’re prepared to part with our final £3 for this one.

Register and Bet £10 And Get £20 Free

If you’re new to Paddy Power, you can take up any of these odds and get yourself a bonus. You can sign up on this site and get a free £20 when you register an account and bet a tenner.

Finally, of course, we should state that all these offers are only available to those aged 18 and over and are subject to Paddy Power’s terms and conditions. Also, if you’re going to bet, always gamble responsibly.

I'll get mine in early.... Good to go? 🙂

    Begovic
    Ivanovic • Bertrand • Moreno
    Sterling • Sigs • Di María • Hazard(vc)
    Rooney • Costa(c) • Vardy

Subs: Gilks • Chester • Albrighton • Bruce

(Terrible bench and Vardy punt to be removed in the GW8 WC) 😛

Moreno and Vardy not good. Weak bench.

hazard very sensible - will be must have by GW 12.

You need to ship Ivan or Rooney to improve your team overall.

Yeah, the top 3 points will hopefully be sorted in WC. Rooney will go too.

Really want Haz to do well this week! 🙂 Thanks for the feedback.

that is the main dilemma indeed.

Duff definitely more likely to get a CS. But everytime i try to put PVA on my bench, that last minute shot of last match flashes through my head and i think it might bite me

Fantasy Football Scout daily hot topic

    Who dares not captain Costa?

And given most will, which player is your key differential (note this is a player in your team, not who you think is a good differential in general this week)?

Way too early to be making ballsy plays like that, just going to get yourself even further behind (especially when Haz says he doesn't feel the pressure this year to get forward and score).

        Good luck with it though.

I genuinely think Aguero will outscore Costa this week. Villa have been exceedingly tight, even without Vlaar and Costa and Fab haven't done well without Ramires on the pitch.

But with 60% ownership, the price of being wrong is so much higher than the price of being right and not acting on it. Costa (C) but I'm not happy about it 🙂

Pelle for me on account of three things:

      1. QPRs defence - especially away from home
      2. Form of Southampton and Pelle
      3. I believe Villa will be tough to breakdown and Chelsea may only scrape by

I feel this is one GW where I'm prepared to go against the grain.

    Still undecided.

    A. Double up at the back with a Foster/Wisdom and Clyne/Bertrand defence
    B. Play Moreno instead of Wisdom

This week, A. You'll kick yourself otherwise.

A Liverpool clean sheet in a derby?! Moreno's attacking returns, but what are the realistic chances of him beating Wisdom?

my only doubt is starting moreno or wisdom, currently have widsom playing because liverpool wont keep a cs

I'm playing Wisdom ahead of Lovren. And play Foster, if that helps.

Burnley have scored one goal this season. Also means you have something in the Sunday game 😉

    @ Lucy

Any chance Davis will start today?

Should I be looking to offload asap?

Yes there is a chance, particularly with JWP out. I couldn't say for sure. I think it's Davis, Wanyama and Cork into two mid positions. Cork didn't play in midweek and Koeman seems to like him for home games. So it's probably Davis vs Wanyama for that final spot. I wouldn't want to guess.

I wouldn't have him because of the rotation risks involved. Schneiderlin is the only man assured of a place in our central midfield.

No. Forster will only get 6 points, so at best you'd break even.
