Sunday seeks to follow on from Saturday’s tidal wave of points, handing us a pair of Premier League fixtures at Loftus Road and the Britannia.

It all begins in West London, where Brendan Rodgers’ Liverpool pay visit to struggling QPR.

The Liverpool boss has reacted to recent stuttering form with a series of changes, recalling Glen Johnson and Jose Enrique as Alberto Moreno and Javier Manquillo drop out; the latter is eased onto the bench. Emre Can also earns a first league start in the engine room with Philippe Coutinho benched, while Mario Balotelli is recalled up front in place of Rickie Lambert; the refreshed Raheem Sterling starts, as expected.

Liverpool find a much-changed QPR side in opposition, as Harry Redknapp rolls the dice. It looks likely to be a 3-5-2 set-up from the R’s with Rio Ferdinand surprisingly dropping to the bench to allow Richard Dunne to earn a start. Yun Suk-Young appears to be lining up at left wing-back in his first league start, as Niko Kranjcar drops out of the midfield. Further forward, Bobby Zamora is preferred to Junior Hoilett. There’s also a change in goal for the home side: Rob Green laid low through illness so Alex McCarthy makes his R’s league debut.

The Shepherds Bush action is followed by a tea-time encounter in the Potteries, as Mark Hughes’ Stoke host Swansea. Fantasy managers will be keenly focused on the display of Gylfi Sigurdsson as he bids to regain his spot on top of the FPL midfield rankings.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

I'm still thinking Sterling to Ramsey and in a couple of weeks Wally is a smashing idea

I think Sanchez is starting to prove that he is worth the extra change over Ramsey.

      1. Saniul

And Walcott is another intriguing option.

Nah, not convinced but anyways it would take to many transfers for me

Did I watch a different game to everyone else? I thought Steeling was an absolute menace, the driver of all things good for Liverpool.

Gutted I have kept faith with balo, really thought he would come good. Has to go for me now.
I was so close on Balo/ Costa > Lukaku/ Kun yesterday too. Got to love FPL!

    1. FISSH
      12 years, 14 days ago

Yea that's unlucky. I am surprised you kept faith in Balotelli. But on another day he could have had 2 goals

      1. timski8000
        12 years, 14 days ago

Purely based on fixtures and bigger issues elsewhere. Trying not to take hits but I'm beginning to rethink this for attacking players.

Shall I get rid of Costa for Aguero?

If Costa is not fit for next couple of GWs then yes. If not too much of a risk not to own him...

Pelle Costa Aguero seems the way to go...

      1. Chenku╰☆╮
        12 years, 14 days ago

My take is costa is injury prone and has champions league duties... and is on 3 YC all pointing to keep him away for a few weeks and get him in later..

        1. FISSH
          12 years, 14 days ago

Aguero is very injury prone too though. So its a tough choice.

Plus I am actually quite happy with Welbeck, Pelle and Costa.

What a GW!!! Have jumped from 645K to 63K with Aguero's points yet to be doubled as Costa (c) didnt play.

Sterling's points plus, Fabianski and Siggy's points also remaining....

A hattrick from Siggy and a Fabianski clean sheet would make my day 🙂

    should i do this?

    moreno ---> baines

begovic ---> 4m kg (maybe hull chap plays now?

Madness from Dunne, particularly at the end. If you are going to send Caulker back then you should be playing a short free kick and running the clock down.

    1. Crouch Potato!
      12 years, 14 days ago

It was the free kick itself that was awful.

      1. Art Vandelay

True. Needed much more pace. A good result from the free kick would have been a chance/goes out for goal kick.

ADM is going at about 8ppg. To say he's overpriced is a joke. He also shines in an average team atm, and is individually brilliant. Why would you ship him? And the same goes for Sterling, he's playing Newcastle and Hull next….

only reason to sell is being having the template midfield but still getting urges to see if the grass is greener on the other side. same as fabregas, i think people are just trying to talk themselves into sales as much as anything and the whole 'tired-gate' was something to clutch on to

      1. Dr Dream
        12 years, 14 days ago

Yep....Most dangerous midfield right now, all things considered (fixtures, stats, playing position) is

Tadic Sterling ADM Eriksen....but that will change

    3. Qubit

I do think theres a good chance that Eriksen can offer similar scoring for 1m less.

    Krul
    Ivan Baines Clyne
    Siggy Fab ADM Sterling
    Costa Pelle Ulloa

    Gilks, Hutton, Wisdom, Quinn

    x 2FT, 2.2m in the bank.

    Currently looking at either:

    A) Ivan, Sterling, Ulloa --> Bertrand, Henderson, Agüero (-4pts, 0.1m left)

    B) Krul --> Forster & Ulloa to any striker under 7.4m (free)
