Missed the Liverpool game.. how did Sterling look? i'm guessing not so good based on the number of transfer out suggestions on here?

took the free kick that led to the first goal, set up the second with his breaking run, and then did the same for the winner getting the assist

If I decide to jump off it won't be because I think Sterling's a bad option, but because Di Maria is a better option!

THIS IS NOT A KNEE JERK
is this move worth the gamble???

    IN: Colman Diame Pelle Aguero
OUT: Ivano Sterling Naismith Falcao total cost -8+2FT

the aim is to get Pelle and Aguero(as it has been for weeks), the rest are moves to accomodate

Topic of the week: Diego Costa: Should he stay or should he go?

      Reasons to sell:
      1) Injury doubt, every week. Its getting boring now.
      2) Costa is not a bonus point darling
      3) Old Trafford next, Liverpool in a few of weeks. Mourinho will play it tight and his scores will be modest.
      4) QPR at home looks worth holding him for, but Mourinho could choose to rest him here with remy being plenty good enough to put them to the sword
      5) Pelle and Welbeck (I have Welbeck) look in decent form, are nailed and have great fixtures. They are also far cheaper (meaning Baines, Coleman, Ivan etc are easy to accommodate)
      6) Anyone without Aguero has an easy route upgrade to a better player [IMO].
      7) Ownership vs Opportunity. Owning a lesser owned player in his place will mean you are in a higher risk zone. Greater chance of making big moves forward (with the added risk of slipping up big time if he outscores your differential)

      Reasons to keep:
      1) He's the game's top scorer, in the league's best team. He WILL score points regularly.
      2) Captaincy option.
      3) Value loss. Most people will have made a tidy profit on him, selling him will halve those gains. If you sell him and decide you want him back, you'll need to come up with that cash from somewhere else.
      4) Big game player. At Old Trafford next, with Liverpool on the horizon and a nice home game against QPR. IF he plays all three, he's the most likely match winner in each, with a big haul in between.
      5) Ownership vs Safety. As a defensive strategy, covering the game's most owned player means you can tread water more easily - less likely to sink (but harder to swim up the ranking, though).

      How do you see it?

    Official Liverpool Fire Sale Post:

    1) Sterling >

    C) Chadli
    E) Eriksen
    T) Tadic

    2) Moreno >

    D) Dawson
    K) Kaboul
    R) Rose
    T) Tomkins

    On a wildcard.

    Lloris (McCarthy)
    Chambers. Clyne. Baines. (Duff. Moore)
Di Maria. Alexis. Sterling. Tadic (Boyd)
    Agüero. Pellè. Naismith

Question 1: Worried about selling Siggy before Leicester- try and get him in?
Question 2: Sakho or Naismith? Both with outstanding fixtures though Is there any point getting Sakho before a City match?

I'd go Sakho over Naismith. And I fancy a Chelsea defender as a season keeper. Maybe downgrade Lloris to fund that. And if you do Alexis to Ramsey, you can upgrade Boyd.

I'd do it. It's not ideal, but it's theses occasional moments of grand decisions that define a season. How long will Costa be injured for v. how much will Agüero destroy everyone else. I'm gambling that Costa's goals will go down while he's injured and that Agüero is set to score five or six against teams weaker than Spurs. He looks very hungry just now.

    Wildcard team. How's this looking?
    Foster - Schmeichel
    Ivanovic - Clyne - Duff - Moore - Dummett
    Fábregas - Sterling - Ramsey - Tadic - Chadli
    Agüero - Pellè - Sakho
    £0.3 in the bank

No Man Utd cover, but their fixtures get stiff in the next few. Limited City and Liverpool cover. But I'm looking the fully balanced midfield.

There are worse problems one can have...
Bench will usually be the worst two of Duff, Moore, and Dummett, and then the other based on fixtures (with Skaho and Chadli most often benched).

Don't like the idea of 3 4m defenders or Hutton has to be one of them if you do. Rotation headache in midfield, stick to 4 and keep cash imo.

Thanks for the ideas. That would give more safety in the case of inevitable injuries. I've never played three 4m defenders before -- but the alternative would be for the five mid to be Obertan / Boyd or similar. What I have now looks nice on paper but will probably come unstuck sometime.

"No, he's not fit: he's not fit to play football, unfortunately,

"He played in a reserve team game the other day, and I could have run about more than he did.

"So no, I can't pick him.

"I pick people that want to try, and deserve to be at a good football club like QPR, and want to work, and come in every day and want to work, and train, and show a good attitude.

"And that's what I got today from the players.

"When he starts doing that, whether he ever can do it, maybe he'll get a game.

"The other lads, I've got a fantastic group of lads here, absolutely superb, all of them.

"I can't keep protecting people who don't want to run about and train, who are about three stone overweight.

"What am I supposed to keep saying, keep getting your 60, 70 grand a week but don't train?

        "What's the game coming to?

"The others are as good as gold."

    Quick question

Those with Aguero, Pelle, Tadic, Baines, Welbeck (or any combination with at least 3 of these 4) - have you played your wildcard?

Specially keen to know a rough representation of those who have got to this point with WC intact.

      Have Pelle, Tadic and Baines.

      Not too fussed about Welbeck.

Want to get Aguero this week, but needs a -8 to do it 🙁

      Forster > Foster
      Cahill > Taylor S. (3.9)
      Ulloa > Aguero

      Is it worth it?

I have narrowed down my options to this. Please pick one -

    A) Fab + Ramsey + £0.8m

    B) Fab + Sterling + £0.9m

    C) Oscar + Sanchez + £0.5m

    D) ADM + Sterling + £0.3m

    E) ADM + Oscar + £0.7m

B or D. Really like Sanchez but Oscar may not play against big teams if Jose switches back to a 4-3-3 with Fab slightly further up. Ramsey will return to the double pivot and don't think he's worth the money there unless he's warming the spot for Theo but you can do that with Sterling too

        Thank Tim 🙂

I'm really considering getting rid of sterling though. Yes he has been good but Liverpool as a team have been poor

I think Fab and Sterling for now. But look to trade one of them for ADM when his fixtures get better.

Need Manquillo out and want to regain some funds at the same time.

Already have N Taylor, Clyne, Chambers and Moore.

Any recommendations of defenders between 4.0-4.5 from next GW onwards?

Chambers at 4.6 is a popular choice.

I'd go with Hutton. Looked lively against Everton and good fixtures incoming.
