After the best Gameweek tally in living memory, I reserve the right for a bit of a gloat. Having risked the Wildcard back in Gameweek 7, the stars aligned and everything fell into place last weekend, leaving my ScoutCast co-host, grumpy Granville, grabbing at straws and smashing TV sets in frustration.

After last season’s defeat, I revel in my moment of glory but still find time to lock horns with Granville over the great Costa debate. Is Jose playing with our minds? I certainly think so but, as Granville points out, I reckon the Lunar landings were fake. I love a good conspiracy, me.

Congratulate yourself via this link or bask in smugness via the handy player below…

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

Blimey 😯 could've been a little more subtle 😉 I agree though, its far too soon to know for sure. Although at this stage with the form Oscar is in, I'd say he's first choice.

    So I have:

    Begovic | Krul
    Baines | Clyne | Ivanovic | N. Taylor | Moore
    Hazard | Sterling | Tadic | Sigurdsson | Boyd
    Costa | Welbeck | Pelle

    1 FT, 0.9 ITB.

    Do I...

    A. Kill off Costa/Ivan and bring in Kaboul/Aguero.
    B. Do something else horrible to Costa and another player of your choice to bring in Aguero.
    C. Keep Costa, replace Ivanovic with Coleman (this is definitely the baller move).
    D. Keep Costa and Ivan, but replace Hazard with Eriksen.
    E. Something something Trippier.

ADM -> Tadic or take a hit and bring Sanchez in? The latter will rid me of deadweigth Zaha, albeit for a hit.

Wouldn't be so quick to call Zaha dead weight. He is a good option this weekend, honestly, he should definitely be starting with the injury to MacArthur.

Hes got one start all season. MacArthur plays centrally, no? Zaha is a winger or in the hole. Dont see how that injury will affect his position. I just think United will struggle to get points over the next month, admitting that ADM is pure class and all over it if United are going to get anything.

        1. Walsh

Ledley should drop back to play alongside Jedinak opening up a spot in the advanced midfield three for Zaha.

Perhaps. But i feel like thats a decent sized "if". Even if he plays, its against WBA who have been pretty tight and Palace havent been good. Still just feel like getting rid of him is easier, and as crazy as it might sound to some people im looking to lose ADM before this run of fixtures.

              • 12 Years

Yep - the fact that Zaha has been on the bench this long defies logic. But then again, logic does not follow Neil Warnock.

    DDG Hamer

Save the ft imo. Everton will concede imo..from a baines owner. Its not a pressing transfer so i would keep a transfer in case u want costa/sanchez in next week

Yeah, all 4 defenders with decent home fixtures seems the wrong time to bringing Baines in. Will decide tomorrow. Cheers!

    Begovic, McCarthy
    Baines, Bertrand, Chambers, Moore, Duff
    Hazard, Sterling, Sigurdsson, Chadli, Boyd
    Aguero, Costa, Pelle

    2 FT, .6 ITB, top 5k overall

I'm seriously considering Costa > Welbeck this week so I can decide between Costa / Sanchez (for Siggy) next week... but I'm hesitant because of how badly I got burned last time I sold Costa.

    Any other suggestions?

Wait for Chelsea pressed tomorrow, ditch Costa if ruled out.

Really wish I could do transfers early and not spend the week thinking about them.

Mourinho, I do not like you!

Looks like dropping to 11.0 tonight. If confirmed out this weekend he'll end up dropping more next week, mass exodus to Aguero.

        Pelle rising and Costa falling.

Will a price drop always mean you get less for a player? Slightly embarassed to say I'm not exactly sure how it works. I'd get £10.8m for Costa right now when he's worth £11.1...

If you got him when was 10.5 then selling value will go down .1 when he next drops.

Agreed. Like Hazard much more and will save money to get back ADM for Tadic if I do it.
