After the best Gameweek tally in living memory, I reserve the right for a bit of a gloat. Having risked the Wildcard back in Gameweek 7, the stars aligned and everything fell into place last weekend, leaving my ScoutCast co-host, grumpy Granville, grabbing at straws and smashing TV sets in frustration.

After last season’s defeat, I revel in my moment of glory but still find time to lock horns with Granville over the great Costa debate. Is Jose playing with our minds? I certainly think so but, as Granville points out, I reckon the Lunar landings were fake. I love a good conspiracy, me.

            Agree with Ryan. There's ALOT of better alternatives this week. Not least Aguero, Pelle, Baines, Sterling, even Welbeck

            Of all those, yes a case for Aguero....but I would not touch United or Chelsea player this GW.....

              Aguero and Welbeck would be much better options imo. Aguero is on fire and Welbeck is up against a Sunderland side very low in confidence. They are far better than Chadlii. Spurs are simply not scoring enough goals at the moment and have just played a europa game.

        Nope...I am actually 4th in my league....my reason is that apart from Aguero, there is no obvious captain choice is there ? United and Chelsea players cancel each other out, Sterling is not on all cylinders, and the likes of Arsenal are away.

        I have Aguero too...I can see him scoring a goal at Hammers but NOT a hat-trick or anything. In fact, West Ham are pretty decent at home.

        I admit, it will either be Aguero or Chadli for me...so just some thoughts 🙂

        My thinking is, if it does not pay off then as I am high in my league it will not be a disaster as I will not drop that far down, and I have Aguero and Welbeck anyway, who I can see scoring but not hat-tricks or anything...

        ...having said all this, I will probably bottle it and go Aguero ! Maybe if I was chasing, I would punt on Chadli....

      You're already too late. The system only officially updates at around 2:45, but i think they use data from 2:30 or earlier even. Many have been caught by that this season i think

              You are paying way too much attention to fixtures. No way should anyone consider selling ADM if they plan to get him back two weeks later. City away hardly means ADM will blank. You will effectively be wasting away two transfers.

          you only lose 0.2 from him then... and he has terrible fixtures and is being sold by alot of people right now so could fall - and certainly won't rise. Its a small price to pay for someone with better fixtures...

      Have this exact MF. Depends on the rest of your team, I'm keeping an eye on Siggy but he could be a season keeper. I'm looking to get a Chelsea MF in soon since I've just sold Costa

              Thanks mate, it's up to you go with what you think , I just looked at your team and if you lose Costa then make sure you leave enough money to buy back next week or at least get some Chelsea cover for next week QPR, don't lose Siggy yet he has a good game, just Costa for now imo

              Clyne-Chambers-Wisdom (Terry-Moore) so I'm alright for this week, but Baines is clearly a big upgrade over the likes of Wisdom or Chambers.

          So, I already have Pelle & Aguero. Is there actually anyone worth transferring Costa out for? If he's confirmed out of QPR next week then he's a gonner for Welbeck but I don't really see the point this week.

            You should just hold the FT this week imo, though your sub for Costa is really bad. Perhaps Costa>Berahino or Welbeck. Wisdom should start instead of pva.

            I'm convinced Mourimho is playing mind games and that means Costa really is injured. Mourinho obviously knows everybody and his brother thinks he's playing games and that Costa will play. Knowing that, Mourinho continues the subterfuge to hide the fact that Costa really is injured. The man is brilliant.

                      I'd still save. Don't feel it is worth it for 1 GW. Depending how long you will keep whoever you chose, but in 4-6 GWs I feel Downing will amass more points, and is .7 cheaper and has slightly less ownership.

              Get rid of Fab, ADM, or Sterling in order to have both Aguero and Costa. Who should I ship?

                Depends what price you got them in at, but probably ADM. Worst fixtures, even though I have him and he's an unreal player

                  Who do you reckon is the most necessary: Baines or Aguero? Is it worth selling Costa if my other two STs are Pelle and Ulloa? And is ADM someone that I should keep?

                    Aguero way more neccessary. The time may have past to get rid of Costa, he dropped tonight, wait until the press conferences at least. I have ADM myself and I'm keeping him for now and prob saving my 1FT, but then I already have Aguero/Pelle. I'd only sell ADM this week if you needed the money to get Aguero

                      You wouldn't recommend selling Costa at this point? Would you downgrade Fabregas Di Maria, or Sterling to accomodate for Costa Pelle And Aguero?

                        Just post your team, it's easier. Not entirely sure who you have or don't have. But ideally you should have sold Costa 90 mins ago before he dropped in price. Still may be worth it, but obv wait until news on Costa tomorrow

                Most of the people will suggest you to downgrade ADM but I think Fabregas should be the one to make way if you want Kun+Costa double up.

                  I was thinking the same as ADM's has proved to be fairly consistent thus far. However, Fab himself has racked a relatively consistent point haul. Agggggh the struggles of an FPL manager :). I guess I'm just gonna have to wait until the press conferences tomorrow.
