After the best Gameweek tally in living memory, I reserve the right for a bit of a gloat. Having risked the Wildcard back in Gameweek 7, the stars aligned and everything fell into place last weekend, leaving my ScoutCast co-host, grumpy Granville, grabbing at straws and smashing TV sets in frustration.

After last season’s defeat, I revel in my moment of glory but still find time to lock horns with Granville over the great Costa debate. Is Jose playing with our minds? I certainly think so but, as Granville points out, I reckon the Lunar landings were fake. I love a good conspiracy, me.

      Looking ahead to next week very early I know a lot can happen but planning on losing Siggy , looks a straight battle between Hazard and Sanchez for his place , leaning towards Hazard because I don't have no Chelsea players (QPR) but just got that feeling Sanchez is gonna go big , but then I have Welbeck and wouldn't want to have double Arsenal and no Chelsea, who would rather Hazard or Sanchez ?             Your bench isn't the best, so you might want to consider shipping Costa. On the other hand, you've already taken a 0.2m drop so waiting longer is an option.
            Pelle's returns at home have been great, but Aguero is still the best option.

                      If that's the most pressing issue in your team, then do you think Baines has a great chance of a clean sheet? While his attacking returns are amazing for a defender it's hard to work out when he'll actually deliver them, hence the Baines Rule: Never captain, never bench.

                          If Aguero is ruled out tomorrow in the press conference, look to get Aguero. Might have to downgrade ADM to an Eriksen type in order to do that? Not too sure on numbers.

                          Everyone wants Baines of course, but Ivan>Baines is more of a sideways move than what would essentially be upgrading your first sub for Aguero (assuming Costa is out)

                  same team, same captain that give me >120pts last gw..wonder whether i can get half of the score this gw or not. rmb the last big dgw 31 where almost all my players contribute..and it becomes a turn off with the same team the following gw

                  Is it worth Costa - Lukaku for a -4 hit this week? Already got Aguero & Welbeck up front, and 3 SOTON players elsewhere so can't get Pelle in...

                    if u are not going to get back costa in the near future i will do it for a free..for a hit likely not as u are not going to captain lukaku so its harder to earn the points back..plus the potential game against qpr for costa means i would prefer to keep costa..or at least wait till the gw over b4 u do it for a free.

                      I was just going to change him for Lukaku for the week, and get back him back in again for the QPR game. Like you say probably not worth the hit.

                    aguero is the safe choice..siggy etc are punts..will not take such a risk to earn a few more points..aguero is likely to get at least 7pts (1goal+1bps)..while siggy might earn u 10-13pts but the risk of blank is much higher imo.

                    i will risk getting in differential but seldom risk my captain..not at gw8

                    I'd even go as far as saying captaining one of those two over Aguero is a pretty big and obvious mistake. People differential and gamble far too much, we're only 8 weeks in for christ's sake 😀

                    Sig is a decent choice. Wouldn't go near Chadli. Spurs are SO inconsistent at home against teams they should beat comfortably.
