After the best Gameweek tally in living memory, I reserve the right for a bit of a gloat. Having risked the Wildcard back in Gameweek 7, the stars aligned and everything fell into place last weekend, leaving my ScoutCast co-host, grumpy Granville, grabbing at straws and smashing TV sets in frustration.

After last season’s defeat, I revel in my moment of glory but still find time to lock horns with Granville over the great Costa debate. Is Jose playing with our minds? I certainly think so but, as Granville points out, I reckon the Lunar landings were fake. I love a good conspiracy, me.

      I can see him doing a fair bit of damage against Arsenal. City goal/assist likely too. If Erksen can do it then Di Maria can as well. Agree re Chelsea though...assist at best but I can see Mourinho bringing his special bus for that one.

      This is something I would closely monitor in the next few weeks. Personally, I think ADM has the potential to be 'fixture proof'. Though you could argue he hasn't been really tested so far considering United's early fixture list.

    "Always play 3-4-3. It's the best formation."
    "Baines: never bench, never captain."
    "Don't ever take a hit for a defender."
    "Never captain a player from the early kick-off game."

    These are just some examples of the rules that I've seen a lot of people from these parts often mention. Do you lads have your personal 'golden rule' that you try to follow when playing out your FPL season?

    For this season at least, mine is to "never go with a budget option for your 3-man frontlines". My reasoning being budget forwards tend to drop their form eventually, while premium forwards generally prove to be more reliable options in the long-run

    Morning all...couple of quick questions
    1) who to remove between ferdi and chester. Both have dropped in value, ferdi didn't start last game but their home fixtures are very good..chester is from better team but bad home fixtures.
    2) who to bring in..kaboul or chambers? Both decent fixtures..who has more goal threat?
    3) I have arfield as back up option to costa...so keep or sell costa..have kun..so will bring in lukaku/pelle (have tadic)/sakho

    Yeah..nice when a plan comes together after doing early transfers...Pelle rising and Costa dropping now means I can do Ivan and Pelle > Wisdom and Costa at a future date if I choose to...Lovely !!..Aguero and Costa double up is back on as a possibility..
