After the best Gameweek tally in living memory, I reserve the right for a bit of a gloat. Having risked the Wildcard back in Gameweek 7, the stars aligned and everything fell into place last weekend, leaving my ScoutCast co-host, grumpy Granville, grabbing at straws and smashing TV sets in frustration.

After last season’s defeat, I revel in my moment of glory but still find time to lock horns with Granville over the great Costa debate. Is Jose playing with our minds? I certainly think so but, as Granville points out, I reckon the Lunar landings were fake. I love a good conspiracy, me.

          The top 10K would cover the league you are talking about.
          Your league would just have a lot less teams.

            True, and indeed I am in a 10k league. Its just that almost anyone can finish well once. It takes some modicum of FPL skill to repeat it. Im more interested in playing against them if im honest.

    For the record, I don't see Sterling starting tomorrow. Was at the game on wednesday and he really needs a rest. At the same time, we probably won't win if he don't play so he will start tomorrow.

    So we will play a defence of.

    Chambers - Monreal - Mertesacker - Gibbs (provided none of these four get injured).

    Out of them.

    *Chambers is already showing he is being overplayed this season. Was terrible and off pace against Anderlecht.
    *Monreal? Already said he doesn't want to play CB.
    *Mertesacker already mentioned he lacked motivation this season, also was rushed back too early.
    *Gibbs - always an injury is around the corner.

    This is just ridiculous. And a situation Wenger alone is responsible for.

    Also, on Fantasy terms, I don't think getting Chambers would be a right decision. Don't see CS anywhere for Arsenal.

      All I've been hearing is how merts been fully focused on arsenal. The reason he gave up international football. Sure gibbs is injury prone but he already had Montreal to cover for him(until kos gotninjured)
      the only mistake wenger made the back was not buying another centre back. We have 2 right backs 2 full backs but yeah the cb situation is ridiculous

          Its tempting to play Moreno vs Hull. I have also Baines-Taylor-Clyne, and the only way to play Moreno is to bench ADM. It looks like madness btw 🙂

        Really tough this week. Lost 0.1 selling value on Costa, and missed out on 0.2 on any potential Aguero transfer in. Lots of doubts in there. No idea who to play in that defense either.

        A) Save the FT, and let my bench take care of the inevitable no-shows
        B) Transfer costa out for a hit
        C) Other

        I'm thinking A at this moment, and reassessing next week with the flexibility of 2FT. Any advice would be greatly appreciated, both on the transfer situation and who to play out of Terry, Wisdom and Naylor.
