Looks like my transfer(s) this week will come down to this...

    A) Costa and Siggy
    B) Welbeck and Sanchez

    Thoughts DZ?

      You sold Costa? 😕

I thought you'd hold onto him him this time.

      Anyways B for me.

      Sakho over Welbz

      1. President John F. Keninnsie

That would require an extra transfer

if it's for free, i would still say Sakho. If for a hit, then B

Who are you looking to lose for sanchez? out of the FAB 4 ?

Still not 100% convinced about his fpl appeal, we shall see how United can fare agaist non-shit teams. But Sterling easily the one for me, poor form both club and player

Sterling tadic di Maria Fabregas Sanchez

Gota b 1 of the best 5 midfield options going.

    1. The Finnisher
      12 years, 8 days ago

      And the forward line?

      I wouldn't want Tadic in a 3-5-2 (or a 3-5-2 in general)

      1. Jonny Sutt
        12 years, 8 days ago

Costa - Berahino/sakho rotating. It's working pretty well tbh

        1. The Finnisher
          12 years, 8 days ago

Really? You benched a goal this week 🙂

Would rather Boyd/Pelle over Berahino/Tadic personally but no point transferring at this stage.

    12 years, 8 days ago

Those of us who sold Costa now have an interesting choice

    A) Buy him back
    B) Turn Siggi or Sterling into Sanchez

B has the advantage of being able to use a forward spot on many of the form options such as bony, Berahimo, Sakho etc

What are you planning to do about Costa?

    1. Gunner HitIT
      12 years, 8 days ago

Expensive mids and budget forwards is an option worth considering.

9 weeks in and the likes of Berahino and Sakho still in the top 6.

      3. Twelve years a slave
        12 years, 8 days ago

Im looking at Siggi and Moreno out for Sanchez and a 4.3 or less defender

        would give midfield of

        Fabregas ADM Sterling Sanchez Boyd
        Aguero Pelle Welbeck

Problem i have with Costa is i quite like having Pelle, and am lothe to take out welbeck before Burnley

        1. Puyol Pants Up

          Costa V QPR > Welbeck V Burnley

        2. Think Tank

I think if you go without Costa then Fab to Haz could be important.

I've had Fab from the start but starting to question his position in my team, with more explosive mids hitting our radars.

    6. GTS

        1. Twelve years a slave

Thing is Sanchez has been fairly average and unnoticed so far.
However he is suddenly he is the top midfield scorer

Imagine what will happen when he actually hits form, same goes for Arsenal in general
and with those fixtures he could obliterate costa. Bonus points , extra point for a goal
          clean sheet bonus etc.

It also not out of the question that a few cheaper forwards will keep up with Costa, and im sick of the mindgames, which will go on all season

          1. Twelve years a slave
            12 years, 8 days ago

Writing the above just made my mind up, Sanchez it is.

Welbeck to Costa and Fab to Sanchez is what you want to do.

Costa and Aguero are bad value, but great choices for your armband.
I don't think owning both is viable with so many great mid price options around.

I sold costa for aguero and if I get him in again, it'll be aguero for costa.

      1. Twelve years a slave

But, getting rid of Siggy doesn't give me enough funds for Sanchez.....Erikssen a viable alternative?

  7. Evans

Swansea's next three games are Everton, Arsenal and City

    Add in Siggys injury

So makes sense to remove Siggy and Naylor for Barkley and Wisdom ?

Repost from a couple hours ago.

Which transfer would you rather do?

    A. Siggy ----> Chadli
    OR
    B. Sterling & Cahill -> Sanchez & Chambers (-4)

Since I have 0.0 ITB if Siggy drops 0.1 I won't be able to do A. Will probably do my transfers after tomorrows games.

Current team (2 FT, 0.2m ITB)

    Krul
    Alderweireld Baines chambers (Lovren naylor)
    Siggy sterling adm fab (Zaha)
    Costa welbeck pelle

    Thinking either:

Sterling and welbeck to berahino and Sanchez
    Or
Or sterling, Welbeck and adm to Sanchez, berahino and hazard

I know Zaha, Lovren weak too
Just not sure welbeck will start as looked knackered
Also adm out would mean want him back again next week so not sure worth it

      12 years, 8 days ago

I think he is uber essential

Even he was bit average yesterday, he could have still have a brace easily

To get Aguero and Costa in the same side at this point, I would need to:

Have Sanchez, Fab, Di Maria, Chadli,

        Replace Baines with someone cheaper.

Who should the baines replacement be?

        1. La Roja
          12 years, 8 days ago

          price?

            A better question would be:
            What's the ideal 4 man midfield (+Boyd)

I'm currently on Tadic Sterling Fabregas ADM

Sterling and Tadic need to go

Would Hazard blow Fab out of the water?

            How essential is ADM

            1. La Roja
              12 years, 8 days ago

              I would hang onto Fab

ADM is one of the most essential players for FPL imo.

              ADM, Walcott, Fabregas and Sigurdsson.

Why Walcott? surely he won't hit stride till considerably later in the season?

Sigurdsson has poor run of fixtures coming up

Why not? Ramsey did last year, Shearer did years ago, some players do, as long as he hasn't lost his pace he will be the same player and reports say he looks stronger in that dept.

Not fussed about Sigurdsson's fixtures as there's no one better that that price and allows funds for both Costa and Aguero if need be.

It's about getting the most out of your money and having the vital key players, could have a huge midfield and weak strikers but then what is the point?

                    Chadli for 6.4?

Maybe but not for me, Sigurdsson has too many strings to his bow with regards to scoring points, not sure Chadli offers the same.

Now that i've reluctantly got rid for Aguero and i cant have both Aguero and Costa.. i'm considerin goin with Hazard as it gives me two penalty taking captain options

Aguero (assuming he's not banned). Costa would come in otherwise.

    Team:
    Guzan Myhill
    Moreno Baines Clyne Moore Vlaar
    ADM Fab Sterling Henderson Siggy
    Costa Pelle Welbeck

    0 ITB

Looking at fixing my midfield this week, however with Guzan coming up against Tottenham next week is a transfer getting a Myhill replacement worth it?

In defence the only possible change I would contemplate is Moreno > Chambers howver given liverpool CS against Hill Im thinking of keeping this week.

I am happy with my strikers.

In midfield I have found lots of ideas. For a midfield replacements here are some options.

    A. Siggy > Moses/Downing/Diame/Puncheon/Chadli/Jedinak
    B. Siggy, Henderson > Tadic/Eriksen and Boyd -4
    C. Siggy, Henderson > 2 of Moses/Downing/Diame/Puncheon/Chadli/Jedinak -4
    D. Siggy, Sterling > Jedinak and Sanchez/Hazard -4
    E. Siggy, ADM > Sanchez/Hazard and Moses/Downing/Diame/Puncheon/Jedinak -4
    F. Henderson, ADM > Sanchez/Hazard and Moses/Downing/Diame/Jedinak -4
    G. Henderson, Sterling > Sanchez/Hazard and Boyd -4
    H. Henderson > Moses/Downing/Diame/Puncheon/Jedinak

Stoked about how template midfields are disappearing
Siggy Sterling and Di Maria all seem dispensable suddenly

Who do you are gonna be the best replacements?
