Shouldve scored had it not been from a world class save from DDG.

Great save by DDG but not really the greatest shot either

Other than the notorious miss, he was very lively on the ball & made some dashing runs into the box.
Unlucky not to score, was always one dribble away from a clear shot on goal
One of the better producers on the pitch for sure though

Can i get some thoughts from the DZ legends please?

    Forster Mannone
    Clyne Dier Baines Naylor Hutton
    Siggy Fabregas Sterling ADM Boyd
    Aguero Welbeck Pelle

Very generic I know. 0.2 ITB and 1 FT this week. Eventually I'd like to move Dier and Clyne (when Soton's fixtures get tough) and probably upgrade Welbeck > Costa or Sterling > Sanchez / Walcott. I'd also like to shift Siggy > Diame (my own little differential).

Just not sure where to start! I expect if Siggy is ruled out this week it'll be a straight swap, otherwise I think Dier needs to go?

    The case for Oscar

    - 3rd in fpl "form" or midfielders on 6.5, behind only Tadic and Sanchez
    - plays qpr next who have worst away defensive record in the league. Has good fixtures for a while, wba and Sunderland for example.
    - He does get rotated, but his game time is very predictable: the only 2 games he didn't start were everton and Man City, both away. Going back to last seasons game-by-game log (on transfermarkt) reveals that he always starts against bottom-14 sides, especially at home.
    - in his last 4 games against non-top-6 teams (LEI, SWA, AVL, pal) he scored 3, 5, 9, 13 points, respectively.
    - looking at stat tables for mids, he is highly ranked when sorting by home games, in particular for touches and shots in the box, and even beats hazard in a few key areas.
    - his price doesn't look like rising early this week which allows us to monitor him in midweek before deciding.
    - 8.3m is a good range where potential future upgrades to 9.0-10.0 players are very accessible, as are downgrades.
    - he's on freekicks
    - mourinho recently praised him enormously, and he's also a central cog for Brazil.
    - with an ownership of only 3.2%, he'll be a great differential next week and beyond.

I am going to monitor him with a view to doing Siggy>Oscar as late as possible, or when one of them looks like dropping/rising in value.

Blinded by rage, I made these moves after Ivan's red card:

Ivanovic, Caulker, Sterling -> Felipe Luis, Chambers and Hazard (C), -4

Decent moves or slightly off the boil? Leaves me with:

    Forster
    Baines Clyne Chambers Felipe Luis
    Hazard (C) Fabregas Eriksen
    Aguero Pelle Welbeck

    Elliot Sigurdsson Moore Albrighton

Luis is very short term so I'm not sure on that one. The others seem good though.

Other than the Luis move, all solid on the Western front.
      Azpi will haunt you soon

You think Luis will oust Azpi?

Aguero has United this week so I'd hold off a week on those moves.

    Heaton Gilks

    Baines Clyne Bertrand Naylor Moore

    AdM Fabregas Sterling Siggy Boyd

    Aguero Welbeck Berahino

What to do this week? Currently considering...

    A) Gilks>Guzan or Foster(gives me another option and Gilks will drop in price soon)
    B) Heaton>Guzan or Foster
    C) Sterling>Hazard
    D) Siggy>Hazard
    E) Save

Ye that would be my first focus. They have been coming up with the goods but risky.

Definitely make a change in goal. Although I don't think Guzan or Forster are the right players to get. Maybe consider someone in the 5.5m range?

Agree on that avenue but I think I'd rather go cheap until January.

Intending to wait on the Costa news first?

If definitely not getting Costa back, then C or save.
