My co-host roughs me up over my cowardice, then slaps me around for the fact that I appeared to hoodwink the entire world over Diego Costa’s fitness. We then go on to appraise the merits of Ed Sheeran, check in on Neil Warnock’s latest gripes and weigh up the Sterling vs Sanchez vs Hazard debate. Meanwhile, Kieran Trippier’s cross count without an assist for Granville hits 66 and counting. Who’s dithering now, eh Granville?

    I'm totally against hits after last week, I've dropped to 50k, would have been roughly around 20k. I love learning these lessons during the season. You will come out IMO a better player of the game

      could have just been bad transfers. there's nothing particularly wrong with hits imo

      remember two years ago when I brought in bale and walcott in successive weeks for their respective hat tricks and both were for a hit

            The game goes two ways - i.e. either a WHM win or MCI win - not one way. Looking at WHM's recent form, you really had to reconsider the captaincy.

            From experience, a hat-trick in a game does not necessarily mean he will reproduce that effect once again immediately in the following game. This only means watch-out for his next following of opponents.

            Aguero hit the bar and missed a couple of chances, the pendulum could have easily swung the other way... this is football. Aguero is fantasy gold.

            Also, you need to accept the fact that you have taken a hit to bring in someone for a set of gameweeks. Not just the single fail of last week. If he scores a brace this week against United, it will be all smiles.

            Hits are fine for the right reasons and given enough time to make back the loss of points.

        Think I've talked myself into D....

        Don't fancy many clean sheets for SOT over the next 6 weeks and rotating Hutton/Wisdom/Yun for 1 spot isn't too bad. Also gives me some ARS attack this week and means my midfield stays pretty strong.

            Yeah, next 3 fixtures aren't bad. I'm hoping the extra rest for HUL will give them an edge this w/e at home to SOT, but you could be right.

        A seemingly nailed on wing back for QPR. Only have 3.9m available and its either him or Saylor (who probably will lose his place once Williamson is back).

        Will mainly be bench fodder.

          It's not that I'm not keen, I just think he won't do much this week away at the champions, whereas Hazard could easily hit double figures at home to QPR

        .2 in the bank so I could do pva to chambers for free, didn't think of that one as it's not quite as exciting as the other options

          He looks class but is expensive. I think he's worth it and bought Sanchez in for Sterling this week.

          If the Welbeck story below is true I'll regret not doing Welbeck to Costa instead.
