Jack Wilshere is a big doubt for Arsenal’s home clash with Burnley, who welcome back Dean Marney into midfield. West Ham’s Diafra Sakho is in with a chance of lining up against the Potters. Brendan Rodgers rules out Jose Enrique against Newcastle, who themselves could be without forward Papiss Cisse. Sadio Mane is set to return to training as he bids to prove his fitness ahead of Southampton’s KC clash, while the FA rescind Federico Fernandez’s three-match ban ahead of Swansea’s trip to Everton.

Arsene Wenger is “quite confident” Kieran Gibbs will overcome a hip problem in time for tomorrow’s visit of Burnley. The Gunners boss expects Jack Wilshere to miss out with a “very, very short-term” knee problem, whilst he also went on to confirm Theo Walcott is “not completely ready” and won’t start against the Clarets.

Sam Allardyce has revealed that Diafra Sakho is “touch and go” for the weekend, after injuring his shoulder during the win over Man City. Allardyce confirmed the Hammers will monitor the forward’s condition before Saturday, whilst James Tomkins and Matt Jarvis have recovered from their injuries and will make a return to the squad.

Jose Enrique will miss the reunion against former club Newcastle, with Brendan Rodgers confirming that the defender has an issue with his knee. The Reds boss has also conceded he expects Daniel Sturridge to remain sidelined until after the next international break, before talking up Fabio Borini’s prospects ahead of the Magpies clash and also hinting at a change of tactics for the weekend, after mainly operating with a 4-2-3-1 in Sturridge’s absence.

Newcastle boss Alan Pardew has rated Papiss Cisse “touch and go” as the striker bids to overcome a knee problem in time for the Liverpool clash.

Reports in the local press indicate David Silva will miss the next three weeks with a knee problem sustained against Newcastle in midweek. Manuel Pellegrini is expected to clarify the situation in today’s lunchtime press conference.

Sean Dyche has received a boost ahead of the trip to the Emirates, with news that midfielder Dean Marney is back in contention to face the Gunners after recovering from injury.

Sadio Mane is a doubt to face Hull as he bids to overcome an ankle injury picked up last week. Ronald Koeman has announced that the winger is expected to be part of the travelling squad on Saturday, should he come through training this morning.

Federico Fernandez will be available for Swansea’s trip to Goodison after successfully appealing the red card he received in the midweek cup exit to Liverpool. Elsewhere, midfielders Gylfi Sigurdsson and Ki Sung-Yeung are both back in training ahead of the Toffees test

wow I thought this siggy injury was worst than was being let on.....Swansea don`t really have a good record against everton, but they did beat them in the league cup behind a siggy goal.
I also got rid of sterling and costa before that....fear of the old players enjoying life out of my team syndrome in effect.

I`m looking forward to some big performances from pelle, baines, sanchez and krul.

Big no. Will only start the big games to nullify midfielders who control the game. He ll probably be on Yaya or Nasri duty on Sunday. Other games, Herrera Carrick or Januzaj will get a chance imo

Hey guys I am in desperate need of some TLC!

    Forster (Myhill)
    Clyne Baines Chambers (Wisdom, Schlupp)
    ADM, Sterling, Fab, Siggy
    Aguero, Pelle, Welbeck

    1FT 0.9 in the bank

I really want to get Sanchez/Costa in but not too sure what would be the best way?

Thinking ADM -> Sanchez, Welbeck -> Costa, and then Sterling to someone over the next two gameweeks

And I'm not too sure whether to transfer Sanchez or Costa in this gameweek or save the transfer?

    Please help!

    Thanks

You need Costa this week more than any I'd say and for the rest of the season, ge thim whilst his price has dipped before you can't afford him. stagger the other transfers over the next two-three weeks

Agreed. Also, Sanchez points last GW came off a couple absolute gimmes. Sure he can poach, but Arsenal's proven unsteady when they're not getting so lucky as to have such cheap giveaways fall at their feet.

i would keep ADM especially if you bought him early
sterling - sanchez would be ideal but you'd need to take a hit to do it

Ya, especially with Newcastle getting hot all of a sudden.

But last time i had this choice, Ulloa grabbed his 2 points on mins and Henderson went off for 13!

This week, for sure. Chelsea hosts Burnley, then Costa's price will once again increase significantly.
