Mikel Arteta is ruled out of Arseanl’s trip to Sunderland. Diafra Sakho and Winston Reid are back in training for the Hammers, though Alan Hutton remains sidelined as Villa roll up to Upton Park. Vincent Kompany is a doubt for City and is set for calf scans, Joey Barton is back for QPR as the injuries ease for Harry Redknapp, whilst Gareth Barry is doubtful after picking up leg and ankle issues for Everton in last night’s win over Lille.

Arsene Wenger will welcome Jack Wilshere back into the fold following a bout of illness. He could come straight into the engine room to replace Mikel Arteta: the Gunners skipper is ruled out with a hamstring injury. Swansea host Arsenal at the Liberty Stadium and they’ll be without Jonjo Shelvey through suspension – Spurs loanee, Tom Carroll, will likely get the opportunity to get one over on their north London rivals with a start in the Swans midfield.

Former budget favourite, Alan Hutton misses out for Villa, who mark the now-daunting trip to West Ham without the suspended Christan Benteke. The Hammers are priming Diafra Sakho for action – the Senegal striker is expected to be named in Sam Allardyce’s starting lineup after recovering from shoulder injury. Winston Reid is also available to reinforce the backline against a Villa side with a single goal in their last six.

Neil Warnock will have Damien Delaney back in his squad for the trip to Old Trafford after illness, although he’ll have to do without both Wilfried Zaha who is ineligible and skipper Mile Jedinak through suspension. United will have little sympathy – Louis van Gaal will be forced into fielding a makeshift back four against the Eagles, with Marco Rojo ruled out, Chris Smalling suspended and Rafael a doubt.

Harry Redknapp is cheered by the return of Joey Barton and Jordan Mutch in his midfield, while Nedum Onouha is also back in contention in the R’s rearguard ahead of their Loftus Road meet with City. Vincent Kompany is a concern for Manuel Pellegrini – he’s a doubt with a calf problem.

Gareth Barry is a doubt for Everton’s visit to the Statdium of Light after sustaining injury in last night’s Europa League tie – Everton are also without Antolin Alcaraz with a shoulder injury. The Black Cats also have issues with Patrick van Aanholt ruled out with, you’ve guessed it, another dislocated shoulder. Lee Cattermole also serves his first suspension of the season.

We’ve collated all this and more in the Team News section ahead of tomorrow’s deadline. Keep an eye on our official Twitter Stream for breaking news throughout the day.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

With Jedinak suspended, Di Maria (C) is even more attractive. It's between him and Aguero.

I don't have Aguero, and have a gut feeling he will do badly that's why I didn't bring him in. But captaining Kun over Pelle seems the safest route in your case.

Anyone know if Dummett for Newcastle should be staying in the team long term? Not sure what position he is but now both the Taylor's are back is he at risk?

This is for the Telegraph game so limited transfers, could get him or Robertson in and afford Baines to replace Kolarov. Noticed Robertson didn't start the last two either though.

Really hard to predict, does he go for it, does he setup to counter attack, don't think he has the players for that, play Sterling and Markovic upfront lol

Rodgers seems to be realising the limits of his current squad now though. I think the days of all out attack are coming to an end, with a switch of focus to tightening up at the back. I think it might be a tight game.

If this is the case then Sterling could well play upfront and look for the pockets of space, Balotelli et al. won't be able to do this

Can see it being thoroughly boring, chelsea will expect the counter and Liverpool might play defensively and keep it tight so someone will have to take the game by 'the scruff of the neck' and that team would probably be Chelsea, 1-0

I really like Enner for this week too. I could do it if I sell Diego...

    Would appreciate some help

    Lloris

    Baines, Fonte, Ivanovic

    Sterling, Hazard, Tadic, ADM

    Aguero, Costa, Rooney

I am playing another FPL game, and have three transfers this GW.

Plans for this GW is getting rid of lloris, and heaton(my reserve) have a few quite good fixtures coming up.

I also want to chase the Sanchez points, however he is a forward on this game and that makes it hard because i see both costa and aguero as essentials.

Last i think i am goingto move Sterling to Yaya, i've held sterling since the start now and he's just not paying off.

Costa will be a nightmare to own over Christmas.

Yes he will..for every team in the game nearly, so it will hardly matter.

Yep. He's doing my head in. If i sold him though I would be without Costa, Aguero and ADM. (for one week at least).

having a good mid priced player on the bench should cover him. (Chambers, Chadli,Downing,Siggy)
even Drogba on the bench. Have Costa start and if he does not play Drogba comes in.

I'm surprisingly happy not owning him tbh

      Maybe not an essential, though:
      26th Dec - WHM
      28th Dec - sot
      1st Jan - tot

    Forster
    Baines - Clyne - Wisdom
    Sanchez - ADM - Siggy - Downing
    Aguero(vc) - Pelle(c) - Costa

Bench: Gilks - Chambers - Dummett - Boyd

Bench correct? Torn between starting Wisdom home to NEW or Chambers away to SWA
