Also as you alluded his high pass rate and involvement locks him in for any bps should he get a goal or assist, pretty much the main reason why I chose to avoid Costa

Its interesting that ADM's average position is extremely high up the pitch (much higher than Rooney) yet ADM has very few touches in the box and takes all his shots from distance.
It's because A) he's not at his best right now and B) Felliani and RVP are so bloody static.

but the big frustration as a Rooney owner was to see him play deeper than Fellaini...I was like literally shouting at him to make the runs forward!

Rooney is a team player and understands team balance. When the likes of Fellaini and ADM constantly get forward and into 'his' space then Rooney is happy to oblige and drop deeper to cover them.
He's not happy. And it showed. It will get sorted. That or he'll be dropped. 😆
Its a result of having so many attacking players in a team. If he is dropped then players like Mata or Herrera will get a chances, they get well forward too. Its a real problem for an unselfish player like Rooney.
Right but LvG keeps talking about find the right balance. Surely we'll see a Carrick-Blind partnership soon.

I see a few people that are nervous to get rid of Fab. I posted this earlier in the day:
Since I sold Fabregas and Bardsley to Chadli and Baines:
Fabregas + Bardsley = 26 points
Chadli + Baines = 62 points.
Interestingly Fab and Chadli have both scored the same number of points in the last 4 GWs, even though that includes 2 blanks for Chadli. Fabregas IS expendable and goalscoring mids like Chadli are worth their weight in gold.awesome stuff innsie
. if you remember correctly i was a huge advocate for the fabs to chadli move aswell.Yeah most people were against it tbh. People view Fabregas as undroppable since he consistently gets assists, but his lack of explosiveness made me get rid without hesitation.

So I've been a bit naughty. My ML includes a couple of mates of mine who are brothers. Both casual players but one I would class as a good casual player while the other is pretty poor. Doesn't even check his team most weeks. But the good player has had a shocker so far. And a couple of weeks ago I noticed they were only 30 odd point apart. So I've been giving the other advice and he's now only 11 points back. Will be hilarious when he beats his brother for the first time.

I think I watched Chali play too much last season and too little this season. Thus, nothing about his current FPL point generation makes sense to me.
He's basically been playing as a makeshift CF as their strikers are so poor.
I understand, my brain just refuses to accept it. And then why not just bench all the strikers and move on?
