As we brace ourselves for yet another international break, we turn to Saturday and Sundayโs fixtures and delve into the data in our first members article of the week. We assess Southamptonโs chief creator and main frontman as the points start to dry up, cast an eye over Chelseaโs penalty box predator, Man Cityโs talismanic Argentine and Newcastleโs recent defensive displays as the clean sheets keep coming for Alan Pardewโs men.
Any nailed 4.4 defender with good fixtures? need to remove chambers to create more room for arsenal
Dummett
More Arsenal? ๐ฏ
Maybe Duff & Wisdom
What would you guys suggest? Do I absolutely HAVE to get Aguero in, and how?
Forster (Schmeichel)
Baines Clyne Chambers (Naylor Moore)
Hazard Sanchez ADM Siggy (Boyd)
Costa Pelle Sakho
0.3 ITB 1FTyes of course
lose ADMDowngrade ADM to Chadli/Downing/whoever enables it, and do Pelle to Aguero.
Thanks ๐ Thinking I should go for it now rather than waiting over the Intl Break? I really should have done this a LONG time ago haha
Don't lose ADM.
Baines? He's anyways going to go in 3 weeks. ADMs fixtures turn very soon.same here dude and thinking toloose ADM too
As tempting as is to catch the price risers decided to save FT. Injury depending would this be ok for next GW? Third defender spot is not easy....
Bego
Baines//Clyne//Moore
Fab//ADM//Siggy//Downing
Kun//Costa//Pelle
McCarthy-Dawson-Naylor-BoydPerfectly set up. To have that front 7 + Baines is a luxury that I don't have.
Save it.Thanks.
Save.
Cheers.
Rate my wildcard team please:
Fabiansky, Gilks
Baines, Azpi, S Taylor, Chambers, McShane
Sanchez, Oscar, Siggy, Chadli, Boyd
Aguero, Costa, Sakho
0.0 ITB. Not sure about Oscar. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.Nice team. Oscar is a great differential IMO. Mourinho has said recently that he is his most important player, unlikely to drop him!
Thank you very much.
get rid of Saylor IMO
Best choice with this price. I can not afford upgrading him unless I downgrade someone else.
Chambers out Naylor in?
Very good.
I personally don't like Oscar - not involved inside the box if I'm honest but its okay.Seems good advice. Thanks. But doubling up on Swansea defense is a little too risky. Isn't it?
Bottom of Last page
Having a hard time to figure how to put Costa in as well as maintaining balance.
Currently on
Krul Gilks
Baines Clyne Naylor Duff Wilson
ADM Sanchez Fab Tadic Boyd
Aguero Pelle Berahino
1 FT 0.0 ITB.
What should i do?
ADM, Tadic, Berahino for Downing, Siggy / Chadli, Costa (-8 of course)
ADM, Pelle for Chadli, Costa (-4)
Change one of the mids using FT
Feck it and save transfer?
Please help me I'm so confused.Views on Ayoze as a differential?
Cheap option to play alongside Aguero and Costaand free up cash for defence.Yes.
3 goals in 3 games. As long as he can keep his place.
Sterling and Fabs out
Sanchez and Oscar in
for a hit.
ya or nayLooks good, Oscar's a good differential.
yep
Looks good. I'd wait til the internationals are over though.
Yes, Oscar is great. Worth it
no, trust my name not my rank, o hang on.... ๐
Think I'll ditch Tadic now. I could get Chadli, and then do Fabregas and Welbeck -> Siggy and Costa next GW, but I'd only have 0.1 to play with, so if there are rises and drops, I may have to do Downing instead of Siggy.
Alternatively, I could do Siggy instead of Chadli this week as I'd rather have him long term, but this GW's fixtures are off-putting.Bony and Siggy could abuse Mangala if Kompany are not fit. City should have conceded more against QPR.
Would be interested to know the time scale of Kompany's injury?Good point, I always think City at home are a different prospect though, and Swansea lacked any cutting edge away to Everton. Will probably go Siggy though, his fixtures after this week are excellent.
are any of the price sites accurate these days?
Might fire off an e-mail to Spurs, I'd take only half the wages of Ade and Soldado and could make standing around scratching my arse look much nicer.
Adebayor is not the problem.
Keep Chadli?
I'll swap for Siggy next week ๐
After the break?
keep aguero?
๐
Yes, absolutely.
Thinking of getting Siggy for 2 weeks( 13 & 14)
Tough enough fixture next but I could understand that move, only if you don't have more important transfers to make though.
Why would you ditch now?
To buy Costa and I can keep adm fab and sanchez
Ahh ok, well that's different. Who would you get in?
Wanyama, but i'm a bit scared for Southampton upcoming fixtures
Yeah I wouldn't do that. I'd downgrade Fab instead, for Siggy.
Hmmm would you then also replace Naismith? ( -8 hit )
Because i have 1.1 ITB left
Which one is better?
1) Forster + Clyne + Fabregas + Pelle + Sakho
OR
2) Foster + Ivanovic + Chadli + Costa + Austin2
Why do you think so?
Soton's fixtures are terrible, and I don't really see a weakness in 2 (I'd not get Ivanovic, but I see why people would).
The first is my opponent's and 2nd is mine. He is leading me by 30 odd points. I need differentials. So went for Clyne + Pelle -> Ivanovic + Austin (he has Clyne, Pelle and Sakho)
Do you think I could make it up?30 points over the season is absolutely nothing, you could make that up in a GW.
2
The second time this season I narrowly missed out on touching the 100pts mark on a single GW ๐ฏ
If only I started with Collo instead of Wisdom ๐On a wildcard, would you keep Chambers?
Arsenal don't look too solid at the moment, and the fixtures don't look full of clean sheets either.Nope.
I'm already regretting getting him last week, bit of points chasing.
Get Naylor instead.
Aye, think I'm gonna cash in on him then.
He shouldn't be hard to get back in again once things take a turn for the better.I'd fancy a punt on Trippier if I was on a wildcard ๐
In WC my perfect back 3 would be
Baines // Trippier // IvanovicI'd get rid, Aresenal not keeping CS and he gets too many yellows for my liking
I would say keep. For his price he seems a must have.
Didn't see the 'on wildcard'... Maybe worth a punt on someone else!
I would.
Kaboul is an absolute knacker, should have walked.
Great to see the word knacker in here on a Monday morning ๐
๐ brighten up the day!
For years, Spurs fans have been screaming for him to be picked over Dawson.
As I have said, be careful what you wish for.He was actually quite good in the past, he's been kak since he came back from injury. Must've been the cheaper wages than Dawson so they kept him
Agreed absolutely. Dawson's biggest issue is his speed, he's too slow but that is less of a problem if you don't play a high line. Could do with him now.
What to do with this lot
Guzan, McCarthy
Baines, Clyne, Taylor, Wisdom, Duff
ADM, Fab, Downing, Hazard, King
Welbz, Kun, Pelle
0.9 ITB, 1 FT
Was thinking...
Fab & Welbz >
A)Sanchez & Austin (or Ayoze)
B)Chadli & CostaReally stuck with how I should use my FT this week. Have a pretty cheap defence with Clyne my most expensive defender so I'm finding it tough to get Baines in. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
Current team:
Forster
Clyne, Dummett, Duff
Alexis, Fabregas, Di Maria, Sigurdsson
Aguero, Diego Costa, Berahino
Subs: Myhill, Chambers, NTaylor, Boyd
0.4 ITB.I suppose you can downgrade one of Fab or ADM to fund the Baines transfer.
Not sure if it's worth a hit though.Yeah, I'm not too keen to get rid of either. Sceptical about spending so much on Baines right now but not having him is hurting
Save this week unless Fab is injured. Then next week sacrifice Fab or ADM for Oscar/Chadli and get Baines for Clyne/Naylor.
Sakho--->Austin/Perez?
How're your knees?
why quitting on Sakho so early?
Get back on fantrax to answer me:p
Shackell for Heaton ๐No
2FT
Tadic + Pelle > Hazard + Austin
Do it for the next round of games or keep Saints players @ Villa?
Austin over Perez/Sakho?this gw
Keep the saints for Villa. I prefer Sakho to Austin myself
Advise on this team?
Mannone, Foster
Terry, Lovren, Bertrand, Clyne, Duff
Fabregas, Sterling, Siggy, Di Maria, Tadic
Sakho, Costa, Naismith
Aguero and Sanchez is the 2 i would love to fit it somehow but would need to use my WC for that i would say.WC.
these are your red flags:-
Lovren
Sterling
Naismith
Mannone
while after this gw we can add:-
Bertrand
Clyne
and potentially Tadic.Lolvren should have been sold already, get rid. Sterling too.
WC needed I reckonDowngrade either Sterling to a 4. something player... Maybe Boyd and then upgrade from there.
Meant either Sterling or Tadic
WC might not be a bad idea. The 3 Soton will be sold en masse, as will Mannone, and potentially Fabregas, Sterling, Lovren, Di Maria, Sakho and Naismith too. Only one way to quickly fix that lot.
I'd WC

Sees Pelle, Tadic and Bertrand in team, vomitsCurrently better than all those teams barring Chelsea.
They've only faced 2 decent sides so far - Liverpool and Tottenham - and lost on both occasions.
Liverpool game they should have won, were very unlucky. In a better stride now, can see them getting results against United, City, Arsenal and Everton at St. Mary's.
at least the big games are at home, i would get rid of defenders and keep one of your attacking assets
I'll probably keep Clyne, whenever he doesn't get a CS he gets an assist, he's so consistent
'whenever he doesn't get a CS, he gets an assist' is total rubbish sorry bud
Ok gentlemen my first tentative thoughts on what to do with my two free transfeers for the upcoming gameweek.
Forster Elliot
Dummett Clyne Moore Baines Duff
ADM Marney Sanchez Downing Chadli
Pelle Aguero Costa
A) Forster / Clyne โก Foster / Azpilicueta
B) Pelle โก Austin
C) Moore โก Yun
D) ADM / Pelle โก Siggy / Granny Shagger
E) ADM / Pelle โก Sterling / Bony
Not sure if i wanna take out any of the Saints players with Villa their next game, I have grown quite fond of the clean sheet points my double defense has bought in and would be pissed if I did A and missed out on another 12 points.
Option B seems a good choice to me as Pelle's stats aint been great the last couple of weeks and a Pelle downgrade would give me much more scope to upgrade other areas of my squad, and would allow me to do A for free the week after. The way I see it if a cheap replacement for Pelle is bough in a stronger 5th Mid or 4th Def would seem sensible to rotate with Austin for away games.
Option C is essentially a holding transfer to give me more time to consider this most important of souble transfers considering the fixture swing for Saints.
Option D could work i reckon, Utd and Swansea have good fixtures and allows me to remain with big hitter Strikers and an always involved Siggy.
Option E like D above gives me a great pick (imo) in Bony up front and brings back hopefully a rejuvinated Sterling with Sturridge back in the side.
Appologies for the long post but with a OR of 293 i'm havin a bit of a puple patch fpl wise and want to garner as much opinion on the best way forward ๐*as much opinion as possible on the best way forward
I honestly don't like any of the options you've put forward and wait until the international games are over obviously
Clearly gonna wait YMA just trawling through my grey matter about how to approach the Saints downturn in fixtures...thanx for your response tho bud
A and b look good
Thanxs for your reply Rickardinho ๐
Nice team. C then B next week
thanx kalmoffit, interesting mate thanx for your reply ๐
This 2 week break couldn't come soon enough, had enough of fantasy for a while after this weeks pathetic week!
Naughton's red card was the worst professional foul I've ever seen, at least try to make it look a little like you're going for the ball you twonk!!
The way Arsenal, City, United look defensively should we be selling our Saints attackers?
I certainly wouldn't be selling Pelle before City at home.
The issue isn't so much that saints can score, so much as I think others have better fixtures and can score more
Cause they're not performing vs Hull etc?
Number 1 in graveyard shift H2H
NiceYou're welcome ๐ (I beat the guy who was top)
Well Done mateHaha thanks badger I owe you a fixed match then ๐
I may come to collect that one day. Maybe when you're manager of Tottanham or some place ๐
Anyone else going for both Ivan & Baines?
I have them both and I don't recommend it.
i agree...think i may ditch Ivan this week
Before WBA? Surely not
Would prefer Coleman-Baines
too many eggs...
71 in 4...
Ivan will outscore Coleman over the season ๐
it's better to have a lot of eggs in a strong basket than throw one of them on the floor
But Ivan is a big hitter, not a broken egg ๐
2FTs... Thinking Tadic + Bertrand -> Chadli + Baines are my best options but also feel it might be a week early to lose them two? Any thoughts?
Krul
Chambers - Wilson - Bertrand
Sanchez - Siggy - Oscar - Tadic
Aguero - Costa - Welbeck
Foster - Wanyama - Chester - Naylor
2FT, 0.9 in the bankOur teams are very similar, 11 players in common, I only have Baines, Duff, Chadli, and Pelle for your Bertrand, Wilson, Oscar and Welbeck.
To answer your question I like the transfers (as I have both and want Tadic out), but would wait until after the international break if you can afford,
Did Sanchez rice in price tonight or is it this night he is gonna rice?
No he didn't rice
okey, thanks! Then He is gonna rice tonight!
Still on the boil
thanks!
Krul
Clyne Bertrand Chambers
Fab ADM Downing Siggy

Mannone Wisdom Moore El Ahmadi

Any Red Flags?
Suggestions?Ditch either Clyne or Bertrand, try to get Baines.
