Far from a tribute to Chris Martin’s middle of the road act, this week’s ScoutCast reflects on the sea of yellow flags that have flooded our Fantasy Premier League squads over the past week. You’re nobody unless you’ve collected at least four by Saturday morning.

The uncertainty caused by phantom international break injuries dominates proceedings as Granville and I mark a return to the studio. Whilst I start praying for Georgie Boyd to step up, my co-host begins his campaign to hypnotise me into getting rid of Branislav Ivanovic before he starts putting further daylight between our teams. I’m refusing to gaze into Granville’s eyes.

Elsewhere this week, we catch “Cup Fever” and resurrect the ScoutCast team. Sign up and you could soon have the pleasure of knocking Granville and I out of our own cup competition. Providing we qualify of course – that’s far from a given.

“Look at the stars” via this link or “look at how the shine for you” via the handy player below…

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

      Siggy.

Was leaning towards Siggy as well, initially I had Sterling in mind, thinking that Sturridge was fit to play, oh well....

Sorry for the repeat post, lost on the last page

    Morning guys,

Like everyone I have a couple of injury doubts which has scuppered my plans to hold my transfer this week. My doubts are Tadic & Sakho, in which instance I only have Wisdom (chelsea away) & albrighton (unlikely to play) to come in. My other sub is alcaraz....

what option do you think is best, bearing in mind i have only 0.2 in the bank so subs needs to be like for like:
    a) Sakho > Austin
    b) Sakho & Albrighton > Austin & Boyd for a hit (I need to ship albrighton ahead of the xmas period anyway so doesn't make too much difference if its this week)
    c) Save transfer and hope for the best I'll be waiting until the end of the day today for more news but assuming nothing changes on the news front what would you do?

    Cheers

wait for the press conferences and if sakho is confirmed out do a)
do the albrighton move next week.

Aguero. All things being equal and them carrying the same goal threat, at least Aguero is likely to get more bonus. For me it's a tie-breaker

Sorry for boring post but can you RMT?

    Schmeichel
    Clyne Moore Dummet Bardsley
    Hazard Oscar Tadic
    Aguero Costa Welbeck

Subs - Howard Chambers Boyd Sigi
1.6m in the bank and thinking of coleman for Clyne this week -4? But need sanchez :/

    1. Sebbo29
      11 years, 11 months ago

Moore and Bardsley might not play, Tadic also a doubt and Welbz needs to go, play Chambers over Bardsley and bring in Siggy for a 343 at least

      1. ♤TeddyBear♤
        11 years, 11 months ago

Thanks, yeah if welbeck blanks I am getting him out!
I was going to move Chambers in but If bardsley does play I fancy a cleany against burnley? If not chambers will come in anyway.

        Sigi coming in for moore

Yes, lots of people offloading Fab, before they even know what the score is with him.

      1. rickardinho
        11 years, 11 months ago

I sold him last week for Sanchez but that had nothing to do with his injury and everything to do with stats.

So both Sanchez and Welbeck remain doubtful ?

    1. Sebbo29
      11 years, 11 months ago

Sanchez will play. A jet-lag is really no reason for a professional football player to miss such an important match, that would really be WEAK!

    2. darko
      11 years, 11 months ago

      They'll both play imo

    3. Woy of the Wovers

Please no, God no. This could tip me.

    4. NATSTER

I've not much doubt with Sanchez. But the uncertainty over Welbeck makes it hard to make decision.

    WC team #1

    Krul

    Bertrand | Cresswell | Baines

    Chadli | Siggy | Downing | ADM

I'd look to to try and fit a Chelsea defender in for Bertrand or Cresswell.

    2. Woy of the Wovers

      You need Sanchez.

    3. Sebbo29

Fab & Pelle > Haz & Austin for -4 or hold FT?

    Would be -

    Bego (McCarthy)

    Baines-Clyne-Moore (Dawson Naylor)

    Haz-ADM-Siggy-Downing/Boyd

    Kun-Costa-Pelle

  18. SpaceCadet

With baines, sakho, downing and now sanchez doubts, i'm even more tempted to do sakho to Austin for a hit. Thoughts?

      Sanchez is not a doubt...yet.

Only sell a yellow flagged player if you were thinking of selling him anyway. In my experience you'll regret it otherwise

  24. Woy
    11 years, 11 months ago

    Kun at 28.5%.

    Still relatively low!

this amazes me. Clearly it's just a matter of timing as everyone got Costa in early, but still. Shows how many are inactive now.

    2. Billy Gilmore
      11 years, 11 months ago

He's owned by nearly everyone of relevance. Like Suarez last year peaked at 50% ownership as he announced himself too late for many casuals.

  25. Chrissy Waddle - 2025/26

    Sanchez to be assessed.

    Assessed he's Arsenal's best player.

    Hi guys,

I am looking for an advice regarding my WC. Should I use it next gameweek?
If not, when should I use with this current team?
I think I would dump Saints trio + change Howard (for Adrian/Fab), Cahill to Azpi, Welbeck to Austin, probably try for Aguero instead of Graziano with the remaining budget or Alexis instead of Tadic.
    Current budget remaining: 0.6
    Thanks everyone!

    My team:

    Howard - Myhill

    Cahill - Clyne - Chambers - Wisdom - Duff

    ADM - Fab - Siggy - Downing - Tadic

    Costa - Welbeck - Pelle
