Far from a tribute to Chris Martin’s middle of the road act, this week’s ScoutCast reflects on the sea of yellow flags that have flooded our Fantasy Premier League squads over the past week. You’re nobody unless you’ve collected at least four by Saturday morning.

The uncertainty caused by phantom international break injuries dominates proceedings as Granville and I mark a return to the studio. Whilst I start praying for Georgie Boyd to step up, my co-host begins his campaign to hypnotise me into getting rid of Branislav Ivanovic before he starts putting further daylight between our teams. I’m refusing to gaze into Granville’s eyes.

Elsewhere this week, we catch “Cup Fever” and resurrect the ScoutCast team. Sign up and you could soon have the pleasure of knocking Granville and I out of our own cup competition. Providing we qualify of course – that’s far from a given.

    Sorry for the repeat post, lost on the last page

    Morning guys,

    Like everyone I have a couple of injury doubts which has scuppered my plans to hold my transfer this week. My doubts are Tadic & Sakho, in which instance I only have Wisdom (chelsea away) & albrighton (unlikely to play) to come in. My other sub is alcaraz....

    what option do you think is best, bearing in mind i have only 0.2 in the bank so subs needs to be like for like:
    a) Sakho > Austin
    b) Sakho & Albrighton > Austin & Boyd for a hit (I need to ship albrighton ahead of the xmas period anyway so doesn't make too much difference if its this week)
    c) Save transfer and hope for the best I'll be waiting until the end of the day today for more news but assuming nothing changes on the news front what would you do?

      Aguero. All things being equal and them carrying the same goal threat, at least Aguero is likely to get more bonus. For me it's a tie-breaker

      I've not much doubt with Sanchez. But the uncertainty over Welbeck makes it hard to make decision.

    Hi guys,

    I am looking for an advice regarding my WC. Should I use it next gameweek?
    If not, when should I use with this current team?
    I think I would dump Saints trio + change Howard (for Adrian/Fab), Cahill to Azpi, Welbeck to Austin, probably try for Aguero instead of Graziano with the remaining budget or Alexis instead of Tadic.
    Current budget remaining: 0.6
