The Gameweek rolls on with a pair of Sunday afternoon Premier League encounters at the KC Stadium and Selhurst Park.

We start in South London, where Liverpool return to the scene of the crime – the venue where last season’s title hopes were slain after the Merseysider’s conceded a three-goal lead to Crystal Palace.

They arrive to take on the Eagles in a far different situation, struggling for form and without a strike force seemingly fit to lace the boots of either Luis Suarez and Daniel Sturridge. The latter misses out once again for Brendan Rodgers’ side along with Mario Balotelli who is absent today with a groin problem. Rickie Lambert starts in the Liverpool attack, then, whilst in midfield Rodgers is without the industry of Jordan Henderson through illness. Joe Allen and Adam Lallana are drafted in as Emre Can drops to the bench.

Crystal Palace also make changes as Mile Jedinak returns from his suspension to displace the injured James McArthur in midfield. He drops to the bench along with Wilfried Zaha as Jason Puncheon earns a recall to the flank. Dwight Gayle also earns a start as Frazier Campbell surrenders his starting berth.

Later today, we focus on Tottenham’s attempts to win three points on Humberside as Mauricio Pochettino’s outfit take on Hull City in their own backyard. Fantasy managers will be looking to Harry Kane to take his opportunity up front and add to the growing arsenal of budget strikers available, whilst also hoping that claims of a Nacer Chadli knee injury prove off the mark.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

I have him in some limited transfer games and don't have enough left to play around taking players out unless they're injured or 3 game bans.

Wonder if the nature of the injury would make it a different case. I'm no expert, but Ramsey/Walcott had muscle/ligament injuries - naturally there would be concern there.

Giroud was a fracture, if he's cleared to play, it should be 100% healed right? Logically speaking. Only issue is fitness.

I dunno it's pretty bad right now. Worst start in a few decades can't beat anyone but the bottom teams at the moment. Tons of injuries yes but that always happens

True. They're actually playing pretty well most of the time, they just seem ever able to find new ways to lose points regardless.

It's the same weakenesses every season that's the frustrating part. Always look great attacking but then we get wooped cause out midfield is lacking strength and we get left thin with injuries

lol@liverpool. The one thing you should try to avoid, is losing the match before an important CL clash, and the Ludo match is unexpectedly all important for Liverpool. They still must win there but I'm sure that now they will have next weekends Stoke must win match in mind too.

And they really had the calendar made for them. Easy teams (such as CPL, Newcastle, Villa, QPR) before the CL match, only one tough team in CL, home fixtures after CL games (4 out of 6 possible). How can they screw it up like this?
