Ivanovic, GW7, Clean Sheet, No Goal, YC, 2BPS
Clyne, GW12, No Clean Sheet, Goal, YC, 0BPS
Discuss.Stats
True, he must have been a machine that game considering Chelsea scored two goals.
Goal = CS for defender bps. Opposition striker then loses 3bps and some noise.
I never knew that.
Lol obviously depends on the other players around him, passing accuracy, dispossessions, fouls, etc. Pretty straightforward really if you look at all the stats.
Ivanovic played better according to the system than Clyne.
Done discussing 😛He puts Sanchez in his back pocket that GW.
Just look at his stats for that GW. He won all of his aerial duels ( more than 10) and has many interceptions and blocks.
Assuming Chadli injured which set of transfers:
Chadli and Pelle to...
A. Siggy and Austin (leaves money to swap Clyne for Terry/Azpi)
B. Di Maria and Kane?Siggy+Bony
Any transfers?
Krul Elliot
Baines Janmaat Clyne Yun Wisdom
Fabregas Di Maria Sanchez Downing Boyd
Aguero Costa SakhoTanx squeaky, fixtures pretty good for all 3.
Que?
Reply fail I see. -8 is worrying but if you don't pull the trigger now then price changes will catch you.
Hey guys, would appreciate some advice.
Forster
Baines, Bertrand, Naylor
Haz, Cesc, ADM, Siggy
Aguero, Pelle, Sakho
Subs: Boyd, Dawson, Moore
2 FTs, 1.3m itb
A: Forster + Pelle > 4.6gk + Rooney (c)
B: Bertrand + Pelle > Yun + Costa (c) (Chelsea triple up)
C: Forster + Pelle > any GK + Bony
Thank you!b
B
Interesting, that's certainly the safe option but I find myself leaning towards A tbh, seems worth a gamble with the 2 home fixtures and Costa on 4 yellows. Is it insane?
No, not insane. I just worry about Rooney playing deep affecting his FPL output.
Costa just scores goals, simple. I'm glad I held him. That he does and his consistency is awesome. Only problem is lack of baps cripples his captaincy appeal. You expect bonus for 11m.
don't gamble, costa(c) for everyone next week
u dont wnt to do adm > sanchez given mnu fixtures?
United have good fixtures though, not sure I'm following you.
sorry, meant given mnu's good fixtures, u are keeping adm right?
i was going to do adm/haz + pelle > sanchez + austin but given haz in form + mnu goo fixtues not sure anymore.Yeah keeping. Sanchez can wait a bit longer. We can see how Giroud will affect the formation.
were both gonna end up paying up for him at the 12 mln price haha. hell keep rising.
would u do any of these 2?
2.(-4) chadli + downing + pelle > sanchez + ameobi + ayoze
3.(-4) chadli + downing + pelle > sanchez + amalfitano + kane
*that way id keep both haz + adm. ameobi is vry atheltic player and now has the gamtime to prove it. amalfitano slowly getting the minutes lastgw 81min w/ assistDon't like either tbh, think I'd continue without him if you don't wanna shift Haz and ADM. Kouyate will eat Amalf minutes. The 2nd one is best though out of the 2 if Downing is out and you wanna go through with it.
thnx mate...appreciate it. will sleep over it, byt think i might absorb the sanchez rice rise for the next 2 gwks...
but defo, keep haz and adm over sanchez for the next gw right?
I did C
Yeah Bony could keep up with the big boys over the next few imo.
You have a good option though,
A
Guzan and Rooney looks super. I dont have enough ITBCheers mate.
No probs hope it works out, Rooney looks a good captain option also against Hull, leaky defence
A or C( guzan or Fabianski)
b
I like c guzan and bony I assume?
Thanks all. Quite a mixture of answers but good food for thought. 🙂
Just made those transfers about 30 mins ago! Hope it works!
All look like decent moves Beavis. A is the best overall I think for this gameweek anyways but I would really prefer to have Costa over Rooney in the long term.
Yeah that's my thinking as well. May gamble for now with Rooney, good record vs Hull I think I read somewhere. Will eventually switch to Costa no doubt.
Could be a decent differential. Will be a lot of Costa captainers I'm sure though and Sunderland are pretty shaky
@ old trafford, rooney has scored six times against the tigers.... grrrr
Help me out please guys
Terry and Austin or
Bony and Yun (ive got Siggy)
Thankssimilar sitch as me except i am mulling Azpili instead of JT... toughie
B.
No Vargas no Party for Austin.
arrivederci Graziano Pelle, thanks for the points!
Welcome Mr. Rooney… Feels good 🙂I got him for 7.5, so hard to let him go :'(
38 points all out, added 8 tonight, I won't complain. annoying that it could have been 46 (plus whatever baps Guzan/Hutton may have gotten) but eh..
current rank of 300k, please don't let me get a red. I know it's coming..makes 2 of us. that hut + guz combo woud have been sweet , given went kun over costa for C
35 pts here but still around OR 5kI went Kun over Costa as well ðŸ˜
Can someone tell me why Naylor is not a good option as a Clyne replacement? Don't say because he has 4 YC's.
He is on the suspension tightrope
So?
he's 1 YC from having 5
....
Palace just scored 3 on Liverpool (I know not as damning as it sounds), so why bring him in when it's very possible he concedes as well gets a yellow card and then is suspended for his 'easy' fixture vs QPR (who by all accounts also aren't toothless)
I could score against Liverpool with my eyes closed. Palace don't score many goals. Swansea are solid at home. If not Naylor, then who? Your argument can be made for literally every team in the league.
someone from Villa, Burnley or West Ham?
I don't think Naylor is a bad move, I just hope you're able to play someone else GW14 in case he does get bookedWest ham and Villa have poor defensive records, I already have Duff
so 16/17 goals conceded is poor but 13 is desirable?
2 CS all season for west ham (Against Villa and QPR)
and considering the fact that West ham defenders are more expensive, it is poor. Villa have 4 CS but tend to concede alot of goals, not going there just yet.
It says he's got 3 YCs on his player info.
Or did he get one in a cup and it counts?
it would but he didn't! I stand corrected
(also I was just winding Puyol up 😛 )
You want to get rid of Clyne? OK, then.
Look at there fixtures. 😉
Doesn't change Southampton being very difficult to play against, and not as if Arsenal and Man U are still great
Saints dominated Liverpool and Arsenal at Anfield and Emirates, with Clyne scoring both times...
Season keeper for sure.Well, they have played only two big teams in the EPL this season and they conceded in both those games so..
In terms of this season they haven't played any of the big teams yet
I think Caulker is the better bet . Also fixtures and goal threat
QPR defender for over 4.0? No thanks...
Most of his points will come from CS.
No threat going forward and No BAPS. Look for others. He's a good option, obvisouly he's going to try not to get that 5th yellow card. He's a defender though, but still. Same goes with Fabregas for example and he's a central midfielder, no reason to sell him for that.
Costa to Bony
Tadic to Yaya
InterestingYaya is the one player I really want , goalscoring mids are gold dust
u seriously considering yaya?
im now considering keeping adm and getting sanches via hit
what do u think best?
1.2FT adm + pelle > sanchez + austin
2.(-4) chadli + downing + pelle > sanchez + ameobi + ayoze
3.(-4) chadli + downing + pelle > sanchez + amalfitano + kane
😆
repost! (kinda)
That was the last time I was mainly using it on idiots who were thinking about selling Aguero tbf they needed a slap
😆
could be stellar
If Villa had stayed 1-0 , my captain and 2 autosubs would have outscored the rest of my team combined , strange gw for me
Latest news on Chadli & Downing? Cheers.
Nothing definitive, wait for more news
any rumour about chadli?
Short term move:
IN - Bartley, Alexis Sanchez, Kane
OUT - Clyne, Tadic, Welbeck (-4)
Yes or No?Bartley isn't nailed long term
But short term...2 home games coming up?
He specified short term 😀
I don't think he's nailed until the weekend
Don't like it, apart from the obvious Sanchez in part.
Best midfielder 8.6 and below to have.
Already have Fab, Siggy, ADMoscar
Oscar, Eriksen or Sterling
Tadic goal, Clyne assist this weekend (or vice versa). You just know it.
Ah Clyne threw a spanner in the works tonight. Which transfer do ye prefer 1ft 1.1 itb
A) Tadic -> Eriksen free. 2 tough fixtures next
B) Tadic -> Sterling. Team is playing bad but good fixtures.
C) Clyne -> Yun or 4.2 and Tadic -> ADM -4 (my planned transfer)C with Hutton?
Is he nailed when everyone is fit? How come he missed the 3 previous games?
A. Chasing Points. Poor fixtures.
B. The guy can't even finish his tea. Good fixtures, yet... so was this GW.
C. 50% Sensible.Yeah I dont really like A tbh.
Sterling is playing poor and so are Liverpool but he has still produced returns in 50% of games so far. You imagine if they hit a good patch he will do well.
United seem good at home but I'm still unsure if ADM is worth that price.
Cheers
is Klopp's high intensity style of play leading to Hummels/Reus and co. recurrent injuries?
you accumulate fatigue in your muscles, your nervous system gets slower, reactions aren't as fast, stress/impact on a joint/muscle then cannot be handled as well
crude reasoning taken from that dutch fitness expert raymond verheijen but your body must be more resilient when its properly functioningmassive tackle injured reus this weekend
but in general, I mean, it must play a part
like United's 40 injuries during LVG's reign so far. cannot just be coincidence. his double training sessions in the heat of USA straight after the WC for many players must be a factoryeah maybe, something wrong with dortmund for sure
It could also be that they simply have bad athletic trainers and bad physiotherapists. They were fine in the year before the CL finale and throughout the year of the finale.
The reason I don't want Klopp at Arsenal. We hired a new world class physio this summer and yet nothing has changed in terms of volume of injuries so that suggests it is the training methods
Is Siggy AND Bony a Swansea overload??
No imo.
i can't help thinking it is
Not at all!
what if i add Bartley to the party?
I'm looking at maybe Naylor, Siggy, Bony combination.. I wouldn't be as inclined to go for Bartley, if I was to go for a 3.9 it would be Yun 🙂
lolp! Would really appreciate thoughts on these two 🙂
Heaton (AVL)/Green (LEI)
Naylor (CRY), Baines (tot), Chambers (wba)
Siggy (CRY), Fabregas (sun), Sanchez (wba), Downing (NEW)
Bony (CRY), Aguero (sou), Rooney (HULL)
or
Heaton (AVL)/Green (LEI)
Naylor (CRY), Baines (tot), Chambers (wba)
ADM (HULL), Fabregas (sun), Sanchez (wba), Downing (NEW)
Bony (CRY), Aguero (sou), Austin (LEI)
Thanks gents! 🙂Sterling, pelle, welbeck sanchez, bony, kane or eriksen, rooney, ings for -8 tonight....
People looking to remove Clyne (I don't have him anymore):
I know red = bad on Season Ticker..but Liverpool and Arsenal aren't the most threatening in attack and United is super inconsistent due to injuries and getting their groove..They play City not Liverpool
so they do! I looked at STO instead of SOT..funny how that worked out that the other two fixtures are the same, just flipped
Southampton also have one of the best defensive stats in Europe so far this season (Albeit due to their starting fixtures.)
You'd still expect them to concede to both City and Arsenal, maybe even United/Everton tbh.
I think United will beat Soton..a win this weekend as Soton and City draw would get the engine revving..
I would bench him for the city game. Could easily play him against Arsenal and United
Chadli to Siggy -4?
If Chad is injured, yes
Will wait (Even longer) for news.
Hi all,
Really want Kun and Siggy in either this week or next, but got no idea how to do it apart from tearing it to pieces for -12 or -16
Any help?
Guzan Krul
Baines Clyne Rose Moore Duff
Sanchez ADM Hazard Boyd Chadli
Berahino Costa Pelle
2FT with 0.2ITBI would be more worried about your defense tbh potentially only 2 fit defenders at the moment
*1
I know. Problems everywhere.
Really don't want to miss out on Kun's upcoming games and big captain potential either. Seems I fix one or the other. No wildcard?
No. Would love to have saved it right now!
Is Kane worth the risk in terms of playing minutes ahead of Austin?
Just looked at the members area: individually both have similar stats (minutes per goal attempts etc), but as a whole, Spurs have better team stats (more shots, crosses, big chances etc)Well this week sucked !!! lmaoooo
36 pts was a poor week and eriksen to chadli topped it off but in my money head to head league I won by 2 pts against the only person out of 22 who scored less so not all bad
Southampton will prove the haters wrong but I got rid of Forster and Pelle 🙂
Table lies with City in 3rd but they are definitely top 4 quality this year. Only thing I fear is lack of strength in depththey have yet to play a truly tough fixture. they'll settle into 5th/6th
Chelsea and City are better sides, Arsenal at a push if they don't keep fecking up big games. Mediocrity after that
GW RANK UPDATED
1.3m I'll take that.
1.45m might just scrape me a green arrow at 100k
2.8m..eh well.. At least I had Clyne
Wow. Exactly on Average. 44 points 😯
Playing Cameron ahead of Dummet work out ?
They both played in the end (Auto subs) so it doesn't matter. 😉
Aye I know but Cameron!!
Is keeping tadic and pelle against a leaky city defence brave or foolhardy?
They will have alot of space for sure
