The Gameweek rolls on with the final pair of Premier League encounters – both presenting fascinating scenarios, fully stocked with Fantasy talent.

The day begins as St Mary’s where Ronald Koeman’s Southampton face their first grilling as applicants for the role of a top four side. It begins with the harshest of tests against champions Manchester City, presenting a lip-smacking battle between the league’s most potent striker and its most robust rearguard.

Sergio Aguero will be the latest of the Gameweek captaincy candidates to test his mettle, against a Saints back four that has conceded just once all season on home turf. That’s just one of the key battles on show, as City desperately look to seize the opportunity to close the gap on leaders Chelsea following the Blues’ stalemate with Sunderland.

Later today, our focus switches to north London where Everton pay visit to White Hart Lane in a match that pairs two sides with top six ambitions. A host of mid-price prospects are on show, with Fantasy managers holding out for an appearance from Leighton Baines and further encouraging displays from the likes of Christian Eriksen, Harry Kane, Romelu Lukaku and Kevin Mirallas.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

The way he fell to the ground deserved a yellow in itself foul or not.

he did try to sell it but still a clear foul. This is coming from a non aguero owner

He played for it.. didn't need to raise his hands and do a swan dive.
It wasn't as clear cut as many are saying here.
        That's what I think.

        Aguero owner btw.

Let's get Howard 'twatprat' Webb on & tell us why this was a dive and why the ref was correct in booking Aguero.

That has got to be one of the worst calls in the history of PL for a dive.

Without a doubt. There was a dive from Messi in the CL two years ago in which the Panathinaikos defender was proceeding to leave the pitch as he knew it was a red card, only for Messi to get booked!

Can recall one situation with Bale as well. Think it was the last GW two years ago. Got clipped down inside the erea and got the yellow. But this one was worse.

Bit off-topic from the stonewall pen, but would ADM --> Sanchez be the best move to do here? Need to save 1.1m from somewhere though...

    Guzan | Myhill
    Baines | Cahill | Naylor | Dummett | Wisdom
    Hazard | ADM | Siggy | Downing | Marney
    Aguero | Costa | Berahino

    1FT and 0.0m ITB 😀

Chelsea are more stable and better so far this season of course, but no doubt City has the highest potential pure because of Aguero

Can't believe people actually think that's the worse decision ever. How about the referee not even giving a FREEKICK for Ferguson's headbutt? Or the ghost goal scored by Reading?

Aguero owners, Look on the brightside, ref will realise at HT the mistake he's made & will give city a 2nd half pen to compensate.
