I'm amazed that some people still think Ronaldo is better than Messi.

Ronaldo is better looking - that's where it ends.

Messi has had at least as good of a football career as Ronaldo.

However Ronaldo has had a better 2014 no doubt about it.

amazed that some people are of the opinion that the current ballon d or holder and the guy nailed on to retain it is the best in the world?

      strange

when messi grows a set of plums and leaves his comfort zone to come to the fastest and most physical league in world football and bangs in 40 goals from the right wing wins a ballon d or and a leads his team to champions league glory all in one season we will discuss this further

I find it amazing that people still argue that intensly over this. They are, without a shadow of a doubt, the two best footballers around (and have been for a number of years). The difference is in style. Messi is the "naturally gifted one", football just seems like play to him, whilst Ronaldo (also gifted, dont misunderstand) is much more of a machine. Its literally too close to be calling people idiots for leaning one way or the other.

Im pretty sure its implied with the way you presented your opinion. Anyway, if we look past you, either "fanclub" often refers to the other side as idiots because "x" player is the better.

Tbh it looked pretty obvious to me that that was what you were saying, as someone who uses that tactic quite often. Im a Messi "fan" myself, but i think its ridicolously close between them. To me it basically boils down to who has the better season. But ive always enjoyed Messi playing more than Ronaldo. He just entertains me more, Ronaldo just is good, Messi looks born to play football.

Can I get a decent squad without using my WC?

    Elliot* Krul*
    Yun Duff* Baines Clyne Chester
    Hazard Chadli* Sánchez Albrighton* Sigurdsson
    Agüero* Austin* Bony

    2 FT, 2.6 ITB

Will to take a -4 if I can get away with a passable squad.

    Thanks in advance.

      Example:

      Baines Clyne XXX
      Haz Sanchez Siggy Downing
      XXX Bony

Play either Chester, Albrighton or Yun is the only shitter next week

How so? Hasnt played a game in a month and has had his so far weakest season at City. Fixtures doesnt turn sh*t into gold, if that were the reality then wed all have a lot of Liverpool players in our team

Well when the whole team is looking to feed you it helps. The goals aren't usually spread out too much at City..though that may be a Kun thing more than a City striker thing.

Kun scores all the goals because he is the far best player they have. Expect City to score less now that hes gone, as they usually do. Its a pretty big gamble to go with Dzeko, he didnt even come on today so hes obviously not fit yet.

Falcao? I wouldnt go anywhere near that even if i got 4+ every week. Mans a myth, nowhere near the player he used to be/people think.

he looked good his first couple games for United before the calf injury..once we're all back fit and firing he could kill it easily..the safe choice is Rooney given it all really..I'm staying away from Costa I think..

I dont think he looked half as good as he used to, looks to me like a classic player going downhill. I honestly just dont see him doing that well in the current United team. I`d much rather have Rooney, even though he plays deeper and havent had a lot of opportunities, its still Rooney, and he always delivers at a certain level. Nobody knows if Falcao will reach anything close to his former levels of play.

Yaya is on 4 yellow cards though, and Costa is boring, and difficult if you, like most, already have 3 Chelsea.

      Nope.

Yaya 1 away from a suspension. Goes to AFCON, too.

      Costa. I don't even know.

      Yes.

Yaya has 4 yellows BTW. I have Hazard so not sure if Costa is needed

sounds good on paper but YaYA on 4 YC and Costa has not been great recently/

Realized Yaya has only had 1 YC in the last 9 GWs. So may be he can go a few more without a yellow.

Worth bringing in Dummet for Duff? Looks to rise today, but fixtures look a bit rubbish..

just proves that 1 GW does not mean anything, last week a team that brought me 94 points, this week brings me 18(4 to go but anyway). And all the transfer that I considered would not have been good(Costa,Haz ecc)

Ok so the results I got were somewhat EPL biased, but here they are:

    A) Ronaldo 8 votes, Messi 7
    B) Aguero 6. Suarez 5. Ibra 4. Benz 0.
    C) Sanchez 6. Neymar 4. Haz 3. Reus 2.
    D) Yaya 5. Kroos 5. Vidal 3. Alonso 2.

I'm not underestimating how good they all are, I just think Neymar is insane, proven every time he carries Brazil. Unreal goal record for them.

EPL bias and the fact that the likes of Neymar and Suarez aren't even the best at their own club. Has a psychological impact.

Why are good strikers so injury prone?

Consider that a tribute to Suarez. Looks like there will be none like him.

not an "out-and-out" striker. plays in the hold just behind him/ everywhere on the pitch
